I created this PVC clip for 1/2" PVC pipe. I use it for holding plastic or shade cloth over garden beds. Heres the link to the Maker World profile.
With the settings i have it works good, but I'm fairly new to 3D printing and wonder if anyone more experienced has some insight into what I could do to optimize the settings? Thanks!

I know this sounds sort of ignorant, but put it in perspective, when colonizers first showed up in Canada 200 years ago that's basically what they did, there was trees every where and they turned them into houses, some of which are still standing today.

What is the actual function of the CR Touch? I feel like it doesn't level or compensate for anything at all in my prints, and since I installed it I have more problems than before and I checked and yes, it is correctly installed and in good condition but it still doesn't compensate for the differences in layer height, and waves keep appearing in my prints no matter if I raise or lower the bed or increase or reduce the z offset. Maybe it's something in the initial g code? I'm attaching it so you can help me with this.

So I'm one of the folks that didn't hate the reboot - I didn't love it the way I loved the OG of course, but it held for me the sort of "lifestyle fantasy" and "aspirational" (in style, not personality!) bits that had me end up in the Real Housewives/VPR side of things because I love seeing the fashion and chic elements.
Gilmore Girls, Sex in the City, and Pretty Little Liars and Revenge scratched the itch to some extent, but the reboot is still the closest thing I can think of to match what Gossip Girl was.
Are there any other shows you like that fulfill that same need? I'm thinking of looking into Emily in Paris in spite of its silly elements. I'll take shows or even books!

TL;DR They are charging me £200 for an engineer visit to replace a master socket that wasn't required and refuse to refund the downtime in service.
I live in England.
In September I notified the supplier, 'onestream', that I'd be changing address and asked for them to move my service which requires 30 days of notice. They forgot to start the address change process and I, naturally, only noticed on the go-live date when I was in the new property without internet. So I wait another month, the new live date comes around and I dont have a working internet connection so I call them up.
It takes them two weeks and two engineer visits to work out that the router and the master socket was faulty, and now they want to charge me £200. The old master socket still works. The router is rented off of them by me, so it is their liability. I will not pay the charge out of principle and would like to know what legal ramifications there are and if I would have a chance in small claims court?
In addition, they aren't able to give me a straight answer about whether my contract has ended as I have been told that it has finished, and that it hasn't finished, by multiple people at the company. They also will not refund the period of over a month where I had no service.

I got solar power with Sunpower and they installed the battery on the wall of our living room/open concept kitchen/dining room. I can’t stand the loud annoying buzz and I had no idea it would be this loud. How do I contact them to move it to our converted garage area, and why didn’t the installer place it there to begin with? There is no number for them. This is why I delayed Solar so long. I don’t trust Solar companies. Does anyone have any advise?

2024.11.25 15:51 like-humans-do If we are to accept that nuclear war with Russia COULD be an outcome of the current war in Ukraine, why are we doing nothing to prepare for it?
Shouldn't we be doing some sort of at least initial planning? It's basically the early stages of COVID again where there is a potential diasterous outcome but there exists a large contigent of people who think nothing should be done because it makes them uncomfortable to consider that there could be a world wide pandemic.
