Just got my Portal in the mail yesterday. I can connect to my internet and stream games on the cloud without an issue. When I try to connect to my PS5 is fails to connect when on the same network as my Portal. I am able to connect to my PS5 when the Portal is on my phone hotspot wifi. At work now and was able to connect no problem. My PS5 is hard wired to my apartments internet router. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I saw a post recently about someone who was hesitant to shoot their film because it involved shooting guerilla. They were scared of "getting caught" in a public space.
So I'm posting this to remind you that it many social norms or rules don't matter when you're making a no-budget film. If you have the will to make a film, you will find a way.
I recently shot my debut feature film on a cruise ship. For less than $100.

2024.11.25 15:20 RightMushroom7 Mother is using POA to steal Grandfather's money and is restricting me access to see him/check on him.
My mother has been overseas for past 13 years and has not provided any care to my grandfather or been apart of our family structure at all during those years.
I (33) have been helping take care of my grandfather for those 13 years. Doing tasks around his house he's not capable of ,booking him medical appointments, driving him around, holiday events, taking him for dinner with my partner and I, etc.
I have never taken any financial compensation for any of this. I am also the only family member he has in the area and he is only the family member I have as well. We have a very deep bond.
He is 89 and his dementia is starting to get a little worse, he is no longer able to drive or live independently without assistance.
My mom has decided to come back from overseas for a couple months, now that his health has worsened, "to help" with this transition from independent living.
In the country she lives in, she is broke and in debt and lives in a motorhome making minimum wage and is deperate for money.
She has always struggled with spending and always been bad financially.
Now that she is here and living with him , she is trying to convince him that I have been attempting to manipulate him for finacial gain. I havent been able to confirm whether he believes it or not, but I do understand that people with dementia can have extreme paranoia at times.
She has barred me entry from his house and will not allow me to speak to my grandfather 1 on 1. She will just yell over me if I try to interact with him and not leave his side.
She also put down both of his dogs because they were old and occasionally peed in the house. I work professionally with animals and neither dog needed to be put down.
She has POA for my grandfather and I have alternate POA for him.
I am primary for a representation agreement and she is alternate. For personal and medical decisions, if he's unable to make his own.
Using the POA, she is applying to get a reverse mortgage and take his money for herself. So that she can buy an apartment and travel, but under the guise that she needs it to pay for his care. She also wants to make sure that there is nothing left for me in the will when he passes.
She has told me all of this in private and taunts me with it purposefully because she believes there is nothing I can or will do about it.
She was extremely physically and emotionally abusive to my father, my brother, and myself during my childhood. We had over 2 dozen police reports during my childhood for domestic violence. However, she would lie and manipulate to play the victim and turn blame onto my father. When they got a divorce, she ended up with full custody and focused the abuse onto me without my father around.
It makes me concerned to go through a social worker for this issue because the system failed me so hard as a child.
I truly do not want any finacial gain from the situation, I just want to make sure my grandfather is not being abused/is safe and that his money is not all wasted. He will eventually need full time care at a facility and I'm afraid all his money will be gone by the time that happens.
I would appreciate any advice on how to handle the situation.
Also, if legal action is something worth pursuing. Would this be an extremely long/expensive, drawn out legal process? I'm not sure I would be able to handle the stress of something like that again.

Eat small meals avoid acidic foods, it's like I wake up in the middle of sleep with burning sensation- like no food for six hours hours. I had bad gerd before and avoided spicy food and tomatos, took Prilosec daily.
I still do take Prilosec daily. I do tums as needed. I'm literally concerned about the long term health effects of acid breaking down my esophagus. I'm looking for magic words to let my team know I'm not comfortable with this constant pain anymore and would like it fixed, there's gotta be a solution, right?
Any tips, advice, suggestions are appreciated.

a quick rant: while this sub is called Indians Read, that's hardly what happens here now.
Where are the posts about reviewing books, discussing themes and talking about the latest titles? No, all we see is people asking about their book collections. It's like the hobby has gone from reading books to simply collecting them and having an "aesthetic".
The other thing is the huge influx asking about self help books, and I see people on opposite ends of the spectrum. one group absolutely hating on them while the other is adamant that they are extremely helpful.
Self-help books are mediocre at best. Yes some really good ones exist, you can google them and find out instead of buying whatever you can get your hands on and then posting them here, seeking validation. A lot readers, including myself, feel that stories make you think for yourself, rather than be told by someone that you should do X, Y or Z to be better. If you are a beginner, you shouldn't start with self help, they will not make you enjoy reading. There is no desire to read just one more page that you get with literature. Period. If you do want to make your own opinion on them, I suggest you start with some good easy literature, and then read a self-help.
Lastly, I wish we collectively read more than show. I wish we could explore more authors from the subcontinent. Not because of some false sense of patriotism but because those stories are relatable and that's where a lot of the joy of reading lies. This isn't a problem as such, nor something that needs immediate attention, but still, something that I feel would make this subreddit and us well read and empathetic.
