 | My 2006 Mazda Miata's 2.0L throttle plate has some play in it. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the entire throttle body? The car in the video is someone’s else but their throttle plate is acting like mine, theirs just have a little bit more play in it. The two screws on the horizontal shaft of the plate are already tight enough. Other throttles I cleaned don't act like this. My Miata jerks 2-3 times whenever I am on or off the gas pedal. I came to America when I was 21 but I was on F1 status. I found my name in the website. I became an LPR in 2019. In the N400 it asks to provide it as a Yes if I was on immigration status so my lawyer provided as a no.
I have my interview coming in 3 weeks, should I take proof that I was registered regardless?

2024.11.25 17:29 Realistic-Truth-5120 WSJ on Fire HD10 w Parental Controls? Won’t let me log my 13 year old in
New to the Fire tablets- switched over from Apple for the kids and I LOVE how amazing the parental controls are. They’re so good that I can’t even figure out how to get around them 🤣
We are trying to log our 13 year old into the Wall Street Journal so he can access content we have a subscription to. I do understand that the Kindle app no longer supports WSJ (from what I can tell). I have specifically downloaded the WSJ app.
When I go in the app and try to sign him into our account, it says “FEATURE IS BLOCKED — TRY SOMETHING ELSE!” in a black box in the middle of the screen.
I have enabled web access (previously blocked) and even removed almost all the parental controls I have enabled just so I can try to log it in.
Basically, the parental controls are too good 😅
How can I log him in so he can access the WSJ content we want him to be able to access? I do need the parental controls turned back on once I figure this out - any ideas how I can do this?

2024.11.25 17:29 ofeliedeceai 2-Star Dungeons, and all the Co-Op Dungeons in general, feel like a big joke right now
Am I the only one who finds it absolutely insane that you spend 20 minutes in these 2-star dungeons dealing with bullet sponge enemies, annoying mechanics and sometimes poor teammates, only to get "rewarded" with a useless BLUE item the majority of the time?
How is it acceptable that the hardest PvE content in this game still rewards players with BLUE items that are literally worthless at this stage of the game, with very very few exceptions?
How can the Developers of this game sit there and think "yeah, this 3.2k GS player could really use this blue necklace with a worthless trait after spending 20 minutes clearing this dungeon that they can only do TWICE A DAY"? Who designed this dungeon loot system and thought it's rewarding? And no, the pity system does not help with this issue. You have to play dungeons for 8 days basically just to craft 1 item.
It's honestly just baffling to me. After this latest update, I have almost 0 desire to play the game anymore, with 400+ hours of playtime so far. I'm not saying give us everything we need instantly, but my god man, at least make it so that my time investment feels rewarding, not wasted.
I think blue drops should be completely removed from Co-Op Dungeons, or at the very least, removed from the 2-Star dungeons since they're much harder. You can dilute the dungeon drops with other purple items if you really want to, but please, get rid of Blue items.

The dopamine theory of mobile games is that you play a game, you win, you get a “prize”, winning the prize makes you feel good, so you keep playing. It’s the way mobile games have worked forever to get us all hooked on the product.
MSF used to work this way. They’d release a shiny new character, they hold an event for that character, you play, you earn orbs, the orbs get you 6-10 shards, and eventually you get 100 shards and unlock the shiny. You get your dopamine, you feel good, you want to keep playing.
MSF has abandoned the dopamine model. Very little about playing this game right now feels like it’s designed to make you feel good. We've all talked about the many ways the game sucks now, but let’s focus specifically on these “lottery” orbs. They give you 1 chance in 200 to get a hundred shards, and a 95% chance to get… crap. Earning this orb, and opening this orb, IS THE OPPOSITE OF A FEEL-GOOD.
It’s literally anti-dopamine.
Scopely has placed a huge bet that it doesn’t need dopamine, it needs FOMO, all day every day. You’ll feel miserable playing our game, ya big dopes, and you’ll like it! Unless you give us $$$.
