 | Looking for any beginner photography meet up groups or any type of cheap class to learn basics of photography. I have a relatively natural talent and have accidentally taken some pretty good pictures on my iPhone. But I’m looking to start this as a hobby and if I can find a niche (or not), maybe monetize it somehow down the road. As an example- here’s a pretty good one that I took in 2016 when I lived in BC. This is Port Moody just off of Brewer’s Row. Beautiful spot. I bougied it up a little with instagram at the time…. But I don’t recall really trying to get anything great. Anyway… if anyone has any leads that would be great. I prefer to network, and hopefully get some in person teaching as well. I'm trying to sign up for the PPA in Florida. I'm wondering how DUPR ratings vary from different regions of the country. a 4.5 in Indiana (for example) will surely be different in some capacity from Florida or Utah. Is anyone familiar with how markets' DUPR ratings compare? Are there certain areas where a 4.0/4.5 means comparatively less or more than others?

2024.11.25 15:21 insufficient_funds US Demographics questions - why do they ask for Ethnicity (Hispanic/Latino or not) separate from Race?
Every where I've ever filled out something that asked for demographic info, it will ask for Ethnicity with the options of "Hispanic or Latino" or "Not Hispanic or Latino" and then it will ask Race. The one I'm looking at now has options for American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian (with 6+ sub choices), Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, or White.
Why do they consider all of these items Race, but Hispanic/Latino just an ethnicity?
