2024.11.25 15:12 ImAtinyHurricane Is anyone actually successful other than celebrities?

In my 3rd year of uni and the uncertainty of what's to come is making me feel so anxious. I'm from the UK so I was like this in year 11 and year 13 but this time it's more intense. I've already had an assignment where I only just passed and I cried so much. I'm not depressed I'm just trying to be realistic. I know what I want. I saw someone else get what I want and I cried so hard. Like if they can get on tv then so can I. But I'm tired of the acting degrees don't lead to acting careers chat. I'm studying drama and creative writing. I just want to either act or write as a profession. Anything creative basically. I want to do a postgrad but I'm not feeling optimistic I'll meet requirements.
I don't think my tutor sees much potential in me. I know she's just trying to look out for me by saying I have to think about how I'll cope in post grad with the disorder amongst other things to consider. Its just like people don't expect me to hold a job? My mum checked in on me the other day and she never does that. She asked if I can handle my current workload and keeping well. I said yes. I have one assignment to do which is due in January. Its just like people don't seem to think I'll be able to hold a job. One of my older friends visited me in hospital and said I can still be successful despite the diagnosis. I know most are somehow more successful than others but I just feel like somehow I'll be less successful compared to others. Maybe I'll prove myself wrong. I want to prove everyone wrong. Idk... life is just hard. I'm trying to enjoy my early 20s but I just feel like life is dragging me by the collar these days. This semester has gone so fast.
Idk... to the point really cause I never hear any success stories other than the celebrities... also why am I the typical bipolar with the creative mind yet the creative industries are all so difficult to get into? I don't wanna do anything that isn't creative. I never passed my math so I don't have much option either! Retail isn't appealing to me. I guess I'll just be a barrista so long as they don't ask about math. Tills have calculators these days and I can just pick somewhere that's card only.

I was a SAHM for 20 years. I did a lot during that time - volunteering at school and church, owned a small online stationary store, consulting with writing and/or graphic design. I’m working part time now, with some potential to go full time. I have a college degree and I learn quickly. I really want to set myself up for financial independence. (My marriage isn’t the best) I’m really interested in generating passive income online and have two different ideas for blogs/websites. I’m a good writer and have early adopted ChatGPT. I just don’t know how to get started and would like some direction or a coach for this - just don’t want to get scammed or pressured into an expensive online coach. Anyone with experience or ideas for this??

2) new movie set in future so kawahara needs introduce some charectors/plotlines in novel so many people will not be confused .
3) movie in production hell
4) sao is just not very profitable anymore (very unlikely since they made a aggo)
5) Sony making some shitty live action so they are waiting to promote both at same time.

I still think about this In 2018 or so, I used to watch a channel, shinobi-03, had around 2k subs back then, the guy had low production quality videos but really passionate opinions, mostly about Jurassic Park, Godzilla and so forth. Then this guy made a video saying he liked Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - to which the dipshits at MauLer created a FOUR HOUR response video. They made a few more videos about his content later, if I remember correctly, and effectively bullied this small youtuber into abandoning his channel. Truly despicable. Most of the videos on his channel are now deleted and the ones still up are full of hate comments from MauLer fans.
