2024.11.25 15:40 CombinationLanky2782 I need support... I just miss her so so much... I know my worth and I know why we broke up, but it just hurts all the same.
She left becasue she knew she couldn't help but pull away. She knew she had avoidant tendencies and struggled letting people in. She knew she couldn't love me like I loved her, nor herself right now. So she had to figure out who she was on her own. She even started therapy on her own which I'm more proud of. But things don't change over night.
I just miss us. Over a year of us. I miss being there for her. I miss her laugh, and how she made me laugh. I've come to understand this BU isn't a reflection of me or what I did. I did everything I could. But I just wish it didn't end.

I know there are already a thousand posts regarding this, but i havent seen anybody pointing this out. LoL champions have always been treated as cartoon characters, they all have their origin story, their personalities, and their reasons, some have dues or rivalities, but they are all "set" just like a cartoon character, you know, He-man has this rivality with skeletor, and skeletor makes new plans, and He-man keeps fighting him, but nothing ever happens. At the same time we keep getting more and more characters and all are set at the same time, which also makes a lot of problems or inconsistencies. This has always been a problem for LoL, where they have a lot of great things going on, but they just can't make it work flawlessly.
With Arcane, we got SOMETHING going on, characters that evolve, some die, some just go away, and yes, it doesnt happen the exact way it was told before, but we saw (almost) every champ that starred in the show, exactly like their games counterparts at some point. This is why i say it becomes awkward, the representation of the champs in the game, is not necessarily the present states of how they are, but how they performed at some point in their lives. We saw in-game jayce at the end of S1 and that's it, the version you see in the game is exactly THAT jayce. Same with most champs, some are more permanent (Cait, Vi if she gets the handlets back) some are more temporal (Ekko lost the Z-drive, Viktor lasted like 20 minutes as Game Viktor, lol) and some haven't fully appeared (Warwick was never full wolf, Singed didn't create the poison, Orianna isn't fully developed).
This way we can expect stories that go a little deeper than just "she was like this, he was like that stuf happened and now bla bla" we can see character grow (both mentally and physically), die, change, succeed, fail, etc. while, at the same time, they don't have to ALL be there at the same time.
Ofc this could be all wrong, and maybe this is an origin story as we all thought originally, and eventually they will end up like their game counterparts, but i feel that is a little... weak, we JUST get 18 episodes of how they all changed, just so they all finish up like before?

I am a 6’8 295lb college offensive tackle, and I currently have about a 2 mile commute to my facilities every morning. I currently ride a Gotrax G6, which is starting to really struggle under my weight. Often I can only reach top speed of 17mph, and I have to push it going uphill at any angle. Battery dies super quick as well. I was thinking about getting the Ausom Gallop, as I wanted something more powerful while also fitting into a decently tight budget. Do yall think this will be enough for me? What kinds of top speeds/range should I expect from the gallop given my weight? Also, are there other similarly priced scooters you would recommend?

I have a friend who was in the UK about a decade ago as a student but then returned to Vietnam.
Before she left, she used up the overdraft on her bank account and then left without paying it off. She had a few other debts like council tax which she didn’t pay either.
She now wants to return to the UK and become a citizen. How big of a problem is this? Should she try to find the people she owes money to and pay them back or just leave it? Is behaviour like this likely to affect her chances of getting visas and citizenship?
She has visited the Uk in the interim as a tourist and wasn’t arrested at the airport or anything. I’m not sure if this is relevant but she has the most common first and last name in Vietnam so doesn’t exactly “stand out”
To be clear, I don’t think this was moral or legal or a good idea. I’d like to advise her on what’s best to do.

Hey everyone,
I already posted this exactly in another community.
I am 26F. I have had an unknown connective autoimmune disease since I was about 10. First, it presented as very round, painless, nodules. I didn't have any other major symptoms back then, regular energy levels. After 12 years I was diagnosed with Cutaneous Lupus.
BUT I have many weird symptoms that come and go.
-Last year I had, what I know consider a flare, a long episode with unbearable back pain. I couldn't eat many things, such as bread and wheat products made me feel sick, even just thinking about them. Same with sugary drinks and sweets, even though I enjoyed them before. Drinking a regular coke would make my brain fog so bad, I couldn't do simple additions in my head. With this came horrible heat intolerance, especially in the summer. I then can't even stand a bit of sun hitting my face or body, even in the car. Makes em instantly feel unwell. Even in winter, when the heater is on it makes me instantly unwell, I have to go outside to cool off, otherwise I can't think and feel awful.
I also have these recurring pains under my ribcage, everywhere in the stomach. The ultrasound was clear, a CT showed enlarged lymph nodes.
Many things make me extremely bloated, to the point that my stomach sounds like it's talking to me. I haven't been able to figure what is causing it or what could help.
Almost everyday I get a moment where I get extremely hungry and then weak directly.
Other more minor symptoms, that actually don't impact my life that much or I learned to live with them: -freuqent headaches -nausea -virtigo -neck pain -pain in many joints -tailbone pain -anxiety -depressive mood -night sweats from time to time, but not too often
I am on MTX and Pregabalin, just started Benlysta.
Is this all related to cutaneous Lupus? I have gotten much of blood work and other tests. I am getting a colonoscopy in two weeks.
