 | Hey guys I wanted to share one of my ocs, this is Nessar,basically the Undertale subreddit as a darkner. If you seen my post then you probably already know about Primer (the embodiment of the Deltarune subreddit) this is his ex wife who left him because he’s batshit crazy and took their deformed child (waterfall dump) in the divorce. She is kind of silly but not as crazy as Primer,she is sort of like Toriel. 2024.11.25 17:39 Tilren What would you say is the darkest moment in Ys?
I haven't played all canonical Ys games yet. I'm still working through the newest ones, so please use spoiler tags.
Out of what I've played, I'd say in Ys 8, after the stars fall, and Eternia basically becomes a post-apocalyptic world with the Eternians gradually dying out until only Dana and Sarai are left. But the specific part of that which hits hardest is seeing Sia, the little girl you've always seen with her sister and played with on mandatory portions of the story, lying out on the table, telling you her twin sister died right in front of her. Talking to the cleric implies that Sia is dying too, as we know she ultimately does - since all Eternians except two die out - but we never know how much time they had left.
I think it's the only time I've seen in a Falcom game where a child is suffering like that in the present, rather than just a flashback, and another child you knew just as well has passed away in a dying world. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

Hi everyone. I (24F) had a molar extraction done on 11/23 due to a years old botched root canal that blew up with an infection pocket last week. I’m currently on an Ibuprofen/Tylenol regimen and Amoxicillin for the infection. the pain still comes and goes but is pretty manageable and not severe. I did have sutures placed and those have been holding up really well. I just have horrific anxiety and worry about developing a dry socket even though the clot seems to be stable and in place. Just need some relief

2024.11.25 17:39 Acceptable-Spare-714 how do i get rid of this constant anxiety and nausea
so i just found out my partner cheated on me, but at first it was just call logs and her snapchat on his phone since he unadded her and silenced her notifications for when he slept over to hide from me, for five days i wasn’t able to sleep, eat or drink any water from immense nausea. I got admitted to the hospital and while i was there i got a msg that he was holding hands with another girl at the mall so that’s when i told my whole family. I haven’t been getting any sleep because i wake up nauseated, sweating, and during a panic attack. I want to move on but i can’t because im bed bound due to not being able to eat, hydrate or sleep. My therapist is through my school and i cant make it to class to have any sessions. How do i calm my anxiety? or even stop feeling sick? (i’ve also been taking peptol bismol, ondansetron, pedialyte, and CBD oil but nothing helps)

I'm in my late 20s and just started my teaching job. I didn't think it was going to come into question but some of the students have been asking. I just blatantly said that I'm not answering that question on the bright side. I do have them thinking I'm a lot older than I actually am. LOL What is the best response to say to that question? I do feel like it's truly invasive. I don't even like letting my coworkers know I am.

2024.11.25 17:39 alexturf Travel Shortly After GC Approval - What Are My Options
I just had my GC approved this weekend (yay!( however, I had some international travel planned for later this month that is not in the air. My H1b and AP are obviously no longer valid so I'm wondering what my options are for traveling without the physical GC in hand. Infopass emergency appointment is out of the question too due to the Holidays and the fact that it would take just as long as for the GC to get mailed to me.
Has anyone traveled shortly after a GC approval with the I-485 approval notice and CBP let them in? For the airline, I could always show them the AP document or the H1b since they are not expired and just explain my situation to the CBP officer at the POE. Another option is to fly into Canada on the way back and drive through a land border checkpoint and have them take me to secondary to do all the verifications they need to do.
Just looking for feedback and personal experiences to see if any of the options I listed above are possible. Thank you

This is weird to me and I don’t disagree with the usefulness but just the idea
Basically my uni has a psychologist at the school do presentations periodically on mindfulness, relationships, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation. They’re optional but it’s suggested you go to a couple before going to therapy at the school.
The teachers in my program gave an unfair exam last year that half the students failed. Then people got to retake them. The retakes also went poorly. Then some people (not me) got a third chance. A few people who didn’t get the third chance failed the class (as you can’t pass the class if you fail that exam) and the exam was very adjusted this year to prevent that shitstorm.
It’s a year later, a handful students are retaking the class but we have to take a mandatory remediation course at the same time. Part of this course is dedicating class time to the psychologist giving the presentations and I just… think it’s weird and don’t agree with it. I don’t think it’s exactly fair to force therapy tools on to people. I’m a big believer in therapy but I also believe in choice. I also don’t see how a presentation on relationships will help us with the class. They say that the presentations can help anyone but then why are they only forced on the people who failed and not even particularly suggested for the people who passed.
I don’t think therapy should ever be a punishment and I don’t think people who are forced to go as an academic requirement will get much or anything out of it.
Am I being weird about this?
