Hey everyone,
I’m looking to upgrade from my S20 FE this Black Friday, and I’m torn between the S24, S24+, Pixel 9/9 Pro, or even the S23. Here’s what I’m prioritizing:
Camera quality: I travel a lot and want better photos and videos.
Battery life: My current phone needs charging twice a day, and I’m hoping for something with better endurance.
Performance: I don’t game, but I use social media apps often and can’t stand lag. My current phone takes quite some time open apps or even keyboard...
Here’s what’s making the decision tough:
Samsung S24/S24+: I’ve read these have okayish/good cameras and battery life. However, since I’m in France, I’d get the Exynos version, which doesn’t have the best reputation. So maybe I should go for S23 which has Snapdragon variant? 🤔
Pixel 9/9 Pro: The camera seems amazing. but I’ve heard about performance issues and lag. That concerns me since I want a smooth experience.
Price-wise, the Pixel 9 and S24 lineup are pretty similar, though the Samsung models are slightly cheaper. I’ve watched tons of reviews and read a lot online, but I’m still unsure which one to go for. 😅
Any advice or experience with these phones (especially Exynos S24 or Pixel 9) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Can I sell after the market closes after 4pm - let’s say around 6pm. And the day I sell it is the last day before the ex dividend day. I know that selling on the ex dividend date I still get the dividend, but my issue is do I get it if I put in the order to sell after the market closes on the day prior. Also, I know there is an after market. Does this affect the answer to this question?

Estou no 2° ano do Ensino médio, com período semi-integral, das 14h até às 20h40. Neste ano, fui diagnosticada com ansiedade social e me afastei da escola, (inclusive vou reprovar). Durante esse período de isolamento, só tive mais certeza de que a escola é uma perda de tempo. Estou estudando assuntos de meu interesse, e pensar que ano que vem terei que voltar para a escola e provavelmente diminuir as sessões de estudo ativo que faço em casa, me desanima. Estou com o plano de faltar 1 dia por semana (já que apenas com mais de 25% de faltas o aluno reprova) pra focar em estudar pra vestibular. Não sei, só um desabafo mesmo. Entendo a importância da escola (em questão de socialização, pelo menos), mas me parece ser mais frutuoso estudar em casa.

2024.11.25 16:22 No-Wash-1209 4 weeks + 2days pregnant & FEEL SICK.
Does anyone else feel like they have/had a terrible sinus infection/congestion issues during their pregnancy? I am NON stop sneezing, having to blow my nose, it’s like a common cold times 10. & due to this it’s making my head hurt even.
Going into pregnancy I had no idea about these symptoms being a thing haha. I was totally prepared for the throwing up, the constant sleepiness but feeling like I have a cold??
I’ve felt this way ever since I got a positive digital test ha. So I don’t think it’s due to me actually being sick..

2024.11.25 16:22 HappyPorgs Is Wallace and Gromit: The Grand Getaway a good beginner game?
I just ordered a Meta Quest 3S, and my biggest concern is VR sickness (motion sickness), especially as I have never used any type of VR before. I have read a few tips and that Walkabout Mini Golf & Beat Saber are great beginner games, so I'll check those out.
My list of games I'm looking forward to (hopefully) playing is Vader Immortal, Tales from the Galaxy's Edge, Iron Man, Moss, Max Mustard, Lucky's Tale...
But one of the games near the top of my list that's actually included in the Quest+ trial is Wallace and Gromit: The Grand Getaway, would that be a good very first game to start with? I just don't want to jump into something that will immediately make me sick and cause myself to never want to try it again.
