Known my TF for almost 12 years now. Just some background, we are 9 years apart in age, I’m 41, she will be 32 in two weeks. We were both born an hour from one another on the west coast, lived on the east coast literally 45 mins from one another and both somehow ended up in Ohio in some no name town but met one another. Instantly was an attraction and connection for both of us but we didn’t tell one another. I moved back home on the East coast and we stayed in touch for 10 years. She always pushed me away cause she was scared of loving me. As she put it I was a risk and she didn’t take risks. She eventually got married and developed bp2. She tried to end it all in 2021. She told me she only thought of me in the hospital and then reached out after she got out. We both thought we would just sleep together once and then we took care of the sexual attraction/wondering and all that. Even though we were 6 hours apart, we made it work so damn well. It was the best relationship I have ever had and she even acknowledged that there is something different about us. She said I felt like home and she was my peace for once in my life.
Cut to almost three years later, she had gone off to a retreat for sexual abuse victims which she was and came back depressed since she felt no one understood her like they did. Then one day out of nowhere said she needed space. I figured it was for therapy homework. Then two days later she just said it was over. Got angry at me for suggesting it was a low from the bp2. She answered me for a little bit for a month but just kept stating that she agrees that it is unfair but she has to do this. She said she lost herself. I know some of it has to do with the guilt of the affair since he somehow found out it was me.
I’m just over waking up and instantly thinking of her. I want her back obviously so I know I’m the chaser now and she is the runner. Always has been the runner it seems. The only way I know she is alive is that I can see when she gets on her Xbox. I have been so depressed since that day she left me. I just want my friend back that I could always count on. It’s been months since that date she left but everyday I feel in my chest a heaviness. Ringing in my left ear. So many angel numbers it’s overwhelming. My horoscopes are almost tailored to this situation. I’m trying to do my own work and shadow work. I always try to make her birthday special so I had already bought a bunch of gifts throughout the year for her so I am just going to send it with a card and a letter I wrote. I don’t know I just want to know that she still feels something for me. Some sign. Anything. I feel like I am going crazy.

Not sure if this happens at all their branches, but this is from Seacon Mall in Bangkok.
They prepare a sample brew each day that customers can cup or taste, featuring a coffee they want to highlight. Since getting into specialty coffee, I’ve always felt that baristas should let us try—even just a sip—of what they’re offering and explain why it’s priced the way it is. While I know some coffee shops in the Philippines regularly host paid and free cupping sessions, but none are near me, so I can’t help but feel a bit envious of places like this. In Bangkok, free cuppings are practically a weekly thing—it’s amazing!
On top of that, the cold brew I ordered that day was exceptional. It had incredible clarity, and the flavor notes were so distinct you didn’t even have to think twice to identify them. And I loved the wooden tray detailing the coffee’s processing method and farm elevation.
If you're curious, this cup of cold brew is THB200. Considering the coffee, the customer service, and ambience of the shop, you get more than what you paid for.

I go Vooman (Great Weapon Master) Fighter 1-5 with Great Weapon Fighting Style, Battle Master (for Precision mostly, to offset GWM -5 to hit penalty).
Now as for levels 6 and eventually 7:
Do you think I should dip into Barb 1-2 for Rage for the +2 dmg/hit and the physical resistance, and then Reckless Attack to ensure advantage (to counteract GWM penalty)?
Or stick with Fighter 6-7 and pump up STR to +5 (meaning +1 to hit and damage) and one more superiority die?
The goal is to be optimal with the Greatsword (2d6).

2024.11.25 18:31 Farscape12Monkeys How a Future Version of Ethan could become the Man In Yellow
so, over the past few weeks, there have been a bunch of Posts theorizing that Ethan could be the Man in Yellow that we saw kill Jim in the Finale.
Now, I decided to come up with my own Theory on how this could be possible.
Basically, this isn't supported by the Show's events shown so far but rather a fun exercise with a bunch of Predictions and Theories.
This is going to be a Long Post with a bunch of Flawed Theories that you could poke Holes in.
So, in Episode 3x02 "When We Go", we learn From Julie that after Thomas Died, Both Jim and Tabitha Fell Apart and that neither of them was able to help Ethan. As a result, Julie at the age of 15 basically had to be a Mother to Ethan during this Traumatic Period.
Therefore, at a young age, Ethan already knew about Death and the negative impact it has on People.
Thus, Even Before Fromville, Ethan has already experienced a life-altering event that will have an impact on him for the rest of his life.
In the very first episode of the show, Julie is playing with Hand Puppets in which one of the Hand Puppet named Norman die. Ethan doesn't like the Story and want Julie to bring back Norman.
When Tabitha ask Ethan what happen to Norman, he tell her that the Monster Killed Norman. Tabitha Comfort Ethan by telling him that there is no such things as Monsters which mean that Norman didn't die and is alive.
Thus, we know right away that Ethan doesn't like the idea of Death and doesn't want to deal with a story involving Death.
Now, in Fromville, Ethan continued to have even more life-altering events with the threat of Death looming over him every single night.
At the beginning of Season 3, Tian-Chen who was becoming a Mother Figure to Ethan died a horrific death. This had an obvious major impact on Ethan who cried over her death and continued working in the Diner's Kitchen because he believe that was the best way that he could honor her memory.
In Episode 3x03 "Mouse Trap", he had the Morbid Conversation with Jim where he is talking about Tabitha's dead body and how she could end up as bones that nobody will recognize. This anger Jim who snapped at Ethan for continuing to talk about Tabitha being dead.
So, in the first 3 Episodes of Season 3, Ethan is already becoming comfortable and used to the Idea of Death since it happened to Thomas, happened to multiple people in Town and now he believe it just happened to his own Mother.
It is No longer something that is shocking or unknown to him at such a young age.
Now, Tabitha Came back to him which was a relief. However, instead, Jim end up dying at the end of Season 3.
Therefore, at the start of Season 4, Ethan will have to deal with the death of his Father which will mark another traumatic event at a young age.
Thus, he will see Death as an event that bring nothing but pain and suffering to himself and people around him.
He already know and understand that the Monsters are killing People around him in Town and the negative impact it has on everyone.
As far as Ethan is Concerned, Death is a Nightmare that he can't escape. Therefore, After Jim's Death, he will become angry and bitter at the idea that he can NOT do anything to prevent Death from taking the people that he love.
At this Point, he will have gone through the Death of His Brother, thinking that his Mother was dead, Losing a Mother Figure in Tian-Chen, and now losing his Father.
At a certain Point, at such a young Age, you can only take so much Trauma, Pain, and Suffering before your outlook on Life Completely changes.
Hence, Ethan will probably start thinking of ways to prevent Death from happening anyone else that he care about so that he doesn't lose them.
Since we have been introduced to the Idea of Story Walking/Time Travel with Julie, I am going to Predict that something will happen that sent Ethan back to the very beginning of the town with the Original Inhabitants.
At this Point, the Original Inhabitants are All Humans who have not made a deal or sacrificed their children.
He will Live with the Original Inhabitants for years as he continue to grow older and become an adult. At the same time, he will continue to witness the Original Inhabitants whom he has become close to and love also die due to Illness, Accidents, Old Age, Etc.
He will continue suffering the Loss of people that he care about just like Thomas, Tian-Chen, and Jim. This simply reinforce his hatred and Anger at Death for taking away the People he Care about.
In Order to Prevent anymore Death from occurring, he will make a Deal with an Entity that Promise Eternal Life/Immorality as long as Children are sacrificed to complete the Ritual.
Ethan will convince the rest of the Original Inhabitants who are probably suffering and going through a crisis of their own that Sacrificing their Children is the Only way that they can all be free and prosperous.
Eternal Life/Immortality will be the Cure to end the Pain/Suffering that Death bring as far as Ethan is concerned.
By Completing this Ritual, Ethan is permanently changed and become the Man in Yellow. He lose his Humanity and become a Monster who no longer has any compassion/empathy for other.
He will continue to Kill anyone who can free the Children and end the ritual that was began so long ago.
As a result, he will eventually get to the point where he kill his own father and start Young Ethan toward the path to becoming the Man in Yellow.
Thus, Ethan is the Villain of the story who engineered the Curse that has Trapped countless People in Fromville for Hundreds of Years due to his obsession with Preventing/Ending Death.
That is My Current Theory on how Ethan could become the Man In Yellow.

Hi, I have a bunch of teas left over from my tea phase when I was younger and I've been trying them all out again post-diagnosis, primarily to help with the kidney pain I have currently (idk how it affects my androgens and stuff yet besides it's supposed to level them out I think? maybe not all these teas do that?). Just looking for any recommendations on how you guys make/take it so I have a frame of reference, and maybe any advice for brewing in bulk somehow?
The teas I have with mint in 'em are plain peppermint, plain spearmint, Mint Medley (peppermint+spearmint, rose hips, lemon peel, and hibiscus - I really like this one personally), and Sweet Dreams (chamomile, hibiscus, peppermint leaves, rose blossoms, spearmint leaves, "spice" whatever that means, and orange blossoms), all from Bigelow.
They're kinda old, but like, it's tea sealed in packets, so I'm not sure that matters too much? The plain pair didn't really seem to touch any pain for me when I took it, so I moved on to the combos and the Mint Medley seems to help the most so far. I suspect that might have to do with the rose hips' anti-inflammatory properties, etc.? I've been putting two teabags in sometimes, when I'm in a lot of pain. Is that okay also? I'm not drinking it 24/7, just a big full mug every now and then + my usual water, but I would like to have some waiting for me somehow in the fridge or something so I don't have to pull the cookware out every single time I want a cup of tea. I don't have a teapot ATM, just been using a saucepan + my favorite mug. Might get one though. Anybody do that/know how I might go about it/have any tips for doing so? Thanks.
Also how do I put the 'new diagnosis' flair on myself? Or will a mod do that for me? Idk if I missed the option or not.
Sorry about my last post, BTW. I have been going through a lot and I sincerely apologize for the traumadump. Things are relatively better now. 2024.11.25 18:31 mcconnellsneck Am I Overreacting? Drivers listen to religious music in the car.
I am a passenger in a large diverse city in the United States. I have a high Uber rating (4.95) and frequently ride Uber. I have had great conversations with drivers and tip pretty well. I am jewish but have friends of many different religions and ethnicities and consider myself to be a tolerant and accepting person. However, sometimes when I am in an Uber, the driver will play overtly Christian religious music which makes me pretty uncomfortable.
When it happens, I always ignore it because I don’t wanna make the driver uncomfortable or offended. Don’t get me wrong— I love Jewish music, but if I was an Uber driver, I would never play it on the job just like I don’t play Jewish music when I am around my non-Jewish friends. Am I overreacting that I think it’s completely unacceptable for drivers to do this? Would I be rude if I told drivers to turn off their music?
Today I was in an Uber and the driver had proselytizing pamphlets in the backseat of his car, which made offended and uncomfortable and I felt like he was imposing his beliefs on me. I understand that people have the right to express themselves but also I expect a bare minimum level of customer service.

2024.11.25 18:31 Desperate-Ear-3300 About to hit 10 months but struggling
Hey guys,
So I’ll just get into it - I started smoking cannabis quite young with some school mates (15yo roughly) but only really lasted for the summer holidays before stopping for the school term. Smoked an occasional bit here and there for the next few years but when I turned 18 I started smoking again. Was pretty regular but then that became everyday and then that became 4/5gs a day for the next few years.
I tried stopping a number of times and eventually on the 4th go which was 12th Feb this year I managed to stop cold turkey. I done it for a number of reasons and me and my girl done it together. Occasionally I got the very strong craving to go and smoke but usually could resist it quite easily. Fast forward to about 2 months ago and I find out my girl had started smoking again about 2 months before that (or so she says) but lied to me about it (hurt to find that out but that’s another story).
Now I’m About to hit 10 months off and last few days I have been struggling real bad. Severe cravings at night so bad that last night I nearly folded and smoked and I’m feeling the same tonight. Doesn’t help that I can’t go talk to my girl about it cos whatever she says doesn’t really mean anything to me since it’s somewhat hypocritical coming from her. Kinda feel like seeing her smoke every now and again is definitely making it harder for me cos feels like I lost half the reasons/motivation (also stopped for religion and to try take control of my life etc.)
Just kinda here to vent how I’m feeling and also ask if anyone else had such crazy strong cravings this far down the road?
I stopped drinking roughly 2 years ago but I barely drank before that anyway but still no issues at all
