I recently started my Master of AI program, and something caught my attention while planning my first semester: there’s a core option course called Introduction to Quantum Computing. At first, it sounded pretty interesting, but then I started wondering if studying this course is even worth it without access to an actual quantum computer.
I’ll be honest—I don’t fully understand quantum computing. The idea of qubits being 1 and 0 at the same time feels like Schrödinger's cat to me (both dead and alive). It’s fascinating, but also feels super abstract and disconnected from practical applications unless you’re in a very niche field.
Since I’m aiming to specialize in AI, and quantum computing doesn’t seem directly relevant to what I want to do, I’m leaning toward skipping this course. But before I finalize my choice, I’m curious:
Is studying quantum computing actually worth it if you don’t have access to a quantum computer? Or is it just something to file under "cool theoretical knowledge"?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve taken a similar course or work in this area!

Hey friends I just need a bit of advice on making this perfume last a little longer !
Burberry Brit is one of my favorite scents and I especially love it for this time of year so I’ve been wearing it every day lately.
I’ve noticed that its projection is quite weak and the longevity is just not there. I’m sure it’s partly due to a weird body chemistry thing, but I just love the scent so much that I’d like to keep wearing it if I can.
I’ve tried layering it with the Brit lotion, as well as layering it with weaker vanilla sprays and occasionally a vanilla lotion, but it hasn’t seemed to help too much :(.
Do you guys have any tips or tricks for this specific scent, or in general that you could share with me? I’m new to the perfume world so I don’t know too many tricks other than spraying it on top of petroleum jelly/lotion and/or damp skin.

I just got done with a playthrough of The Surge that I was recording. I haven't made any of it public yet as I wanted to make sure I could finish the game first. The thing is, shortly before the final boss I thought I had started recording even though I hadn't, and missed out on recording the final boss and ending. Since it's a Soulslike, there is no option to load a save from before the final boss. I'm not sure what I should do now with the playthrough that I've recorded, since I am missing a rather crucial part of the game.

So, ever since I left college it's been harder to maintain creative stamina. What I mean by this is the act of creating compositions, building images based on other images, and designing characters. I find it relatively easy to copy a complete image (whether I took it or it's from somewhere else) but I find it difficult to make my own compositions. It's not like I never have, but now I'm finding it hard to see a creative idea through to the end. In short, how do you guys see longer projects through? How do you not lose confidence in the artistic vision you have?
