I was thinking for the Investigator, to go with Psychic Detective or Questioner (leaning towards Questioner).
While for the Swashbucker, I'll be going with Noble Fencer, but I can't decide wether to combine it with Daring Infiltrator or Dashing Thief. Both seem nice, but I just can't pick. (Though I am leaning slightly towards Dashing Thief)
The character concept I'm going for is a swashbuckling version of Arsene Lupin.
I would appreciate people's thoughts on the archetypes, and which they think are better.

So, given the title, I've started thinking about pentesting my homelab.
I've gotten my proxmox up now, just got a delivery of extra ram to it (yay) and next week my mb+cpu+ram arrives for my upcoming unraid server.
Now, once I've done disaster-recovery testing and documenting what I've configured I also want to test how my stuff holds up in terms of security.
What do you guys do, to test your environments... find exposed ports, stupid situations where you might have forgotten to update a default password of a service of device etc..
Anything in my home could be a complete disaster from a cyber security perspective imho, I have so many IoT-devices with zero control not even taking my homelab into consideration tbh.
Preferably it would be nice with perhaps a 3rd party service (could consider paying for it) to every once and a while give my home a proper whack.
Any recommendations?

Trying to take this class that’s reserved, waiting for it to open. I see the lecture only had 4 seats left, I’m the 5 th on the waitlist, you think I can still get in? Or even by emailing the professor when the day comes? Or would it be the most saddest tease in the world.

I currently use a 30L bag and it’s great in terms of space, but I noticed that I have a lot of weight in my bag and my knees and hips have been killing me! I need to use it for university and I’m walking around a lot with all the weight on my back, going up and down stairs and hills. I have to carry a 15in laptop, iPad, binder, and 1-3 textbooks. A pocket or two for personal items would be nice as well. I’ve been considering the nebula but I’m worried it won’t be supportive enough and take the load off my legs. Are there any specific harness system that helps with those problem areas better than what the nebula is equipped with? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello!
I currently work as a recruiter for a large company making about $55k. My path to getting here was a little unorthodox. I spent about 7 years in manufacturing as a machine operator / lead. I decided to go back to school to get a bachelors in business and I ended getting a job opportunity to run social media for a small company. As a product of that, I only got my associates degree.
The small company had terrible turnover and a toxic owner, so I ended up taking on more responsibilities which eventually led me to being a recruiter. After I left that company, I came into my current job. I’ve been recruiting for about 3 years now. Specializing in diesel technicians.
The job is fine and the company is great, but the pay is just not enough. I had to FIGHT to get to what I’m currently making. I’ve been looking around at other opportunities and feel a little stuck.
I see myself with two options, essentially.
- If I continue on the recruiting path, I can easily shift into HR roles, but I will need to go back to school to get my bachelors. I really didn’t want to get more debt just to make more money, but if that makes the most sense, I would.
- Go back into manufacturing and work my way into a supervisor role. The opportunities that I am qualified for already pay more than I’m currently making, so at least I’d be slightly more comfortable as I grind. But it does feel like a step backwards, and I’d lose the comfort of a white-collar work-life balance position.

Barovia lives under the oppression of the Devil Strahd. The mists that surround the valleys not only bring unwilling travelers from distant planes but also trap them in the cursed land. According to legend, the only way to escape is by killing Strahd von Zarovich...but would it really be enough to break the curse? There's only one way to find out...
Curse of Strahd - Extended edition
This is a gothic horror adventure focused on roleplay, however, with lots of dangerous combats and encounters. Think of it as a 'less quantity more quality' equation, there are fewer fights than in the regular a-monster-on-every-corner dungeon but they are more meaningful and exciting.
Every GM likes to tweak their modules to better suit their tastes and the players', in my case I decided to create this extended edition inspired by the incredible expanded universe that the community of Curse of Strahd GMs (mostly on Reddit) created. That's why the adventure goes up to level 16th instead of the regular 10th.
However, I took care to NOT change the adventure to the point of becoming something else, my changes come more from the point of building upon than replacing things. After all, if someone agreed to play Curse of Strahd, they deserve to play Curse of Strahd right?!
+ Extra Content: House of Lament (1 extra level + magic items)
Adapted to higher-level characters and incorporated within the lore of the campaign, the players will experience (and hopefully overcome) the horrors of The House of Lament.
Using their strength, courage, and wits (including an interactive spiritual board to contact the spirits) the character will be able to solve the mysteries of the haunted mansion and free the tormented souls...or die trying and get trapped along with all the others before them.
