Anyone in Newmarket, East Gwillumbury or anywhere near want a dog? I’m in a bit of a situation and need to rehome one of my dogs since I have no place to put him. I’ve tried animals shelters, SPCA, friends, co workers, etc. No hope for him. He’s free of charge and I just need to find a home for him, he’s a shihtzu breed mixed with poodle and weighs about 10ish pounds. I’m moving in a couple days and I won’t have a home for him once I move since it’ll be hard for me to take care of him while working almost everyday.

2024.11.25 16:50 MontyBurns2213 For those that have had a biopsy, how long were you told to stop steroids beforehand?
I've got a biopsy scheduled for 16th December, my dermatologist today told me I didn't need to stop the steroids, leading up to the biopsy day.
I've been suffering a long time (10years) and I'm finally getting a biopsy, I really don't want anything to skew the results as I just want a definitive answer, I always thought you had to stop them prior.
For those that have had a biopsy, were you told to stop using your steroids before the procedure and if so, how long for?
I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

It’s my husbands 40th in April next year. we moved to the other side of the country and he has zero friends here. He originally hoped to do a trip with close friends to Japan but they are no longer available for various reasons. His friends all live in different places and catch up weekly online but it’s very difficult for them to get together In person. Whenever I ask him about his birthday he gets very depressed and avoids it. He said his dad got thrown a huge party for his 40th with dozens of people and it makes him feel so sad he has so few people in his life. He doesn’t want to see his family after previous birthday experiences, they are a few hours drive away & we’ll have to go to them only to have them complain about the venue choice or find an excuse to leave as soon as possible.
1) go to Japan anyway as a family (just us and our 2 kids). 2) throw him a party, which would require us to fly across the country for a gathering that if he’s lucky 10 people mIght come.
3) a weekend away with a few close friends (the ones he would’ve gone to Japan with)
4) stay home and do something special as a family. We’re still getting to know the area and there’s plenty of fun things to do.
i feel like no matter what he’ll be unhappy and fixated on a kind of party that Just isn’t possible.
