Hey everyone! We bought this 1948 house a couple of years ago. We just had all new windows installed. The house has wooden siding that has rotted terribly in certain places. We’re looking to give her a facelift so we can rent it out when we move.
What color of brick or siding should we go with since the windows are white? The front door is a fire engine red. The flowerbed area has a beautiful tree, when in bloom. I’m not against adding plants but is the tree good enough?
Anyway — I hope y’all can help with what’d beautify the exterior of the house!

Which style headband protector? Thinking about purchasing one of these for my new AirPods. No sagging as they’re new, but hoping to add some protection against it sagging (maybe?). Which style do you like and why? Style, Comfort, Protection Level, weight, etc.
The most obvious difference is that the bottom option puts a barrier between your head and the mesh. That may be good if you wear hair products or put them on when your hair is wet. I wonder if it pulls on your hair like a rubber band though?

2024.11.25 17:55 Vinchenzxi What's Preferred Safety Credential ASSP or BCSP

I have been working in the safety profession since around 2013. I have zero college experience under my belt but do have several certifications for OSHA, HAZWOPER, CPR and several others. I do not hold any certifications from ASSP or BCSP. I believe the knowledge I have acquired from my experiences far outweighs any college. My question is, since I don't have college experience and frankly, don't plan on it, I was curious if some could give advice as what the best cert or endorsement would be?
I have interviewed for a couple good jobs. My interviews went very well. Feed back immediately after interview was great. However, each time I came up short when candidate was chosen and I unfortunately have not received the feedback telling me why. My theory is my lack of college or some certification. Does anyone know what certification would be best to stand out without any college degree? I thought of the SMS from the BCSP but decided to see what others on here might have to say. Thanks in advance for any help.

2024.11.25 17:55 captxin Kernal Power 41 and Critical Process Died

Hi, Recently built a new PC. I've been getting the Kernal Power 41 error and Critical Process Died.
Now when I login to windows and I move my mouse or click onto something it freezes and gives me a BSoD. However if I wait a few seconds without going into the apps striaght away it seems to work fine.
I have double checked all cables and they seem to be on tight. I have ran OCCT stress test on all components and they pass. When I game it runs fine.
I have done a clean install of windows twice. All drivers are up to date, I've ran chkdsk /r and other diagonstics. Nothing so far.
CPU is Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Motherboard b650 aorus elite ax
GPU 4080 Super
G. skill ram 32gb 6000mhz 30cl - not running on amd expo
850w corsair psu.

I was the original ‘whistleblower’ last year as I was apparently the first person to reach out to the board of directors about the issues regarding the groomer mod and HQ’s mishandling of the whole situation. Well, last week the official nanowrimo facebook account sent an unedited screenshot of my original email to a random participant through messenger. The screenshot included my email address which is my full name.

The ‘random participant’ immediately shared the unedited screenshot online. And while that is super gross behavior on their part as well, I only shared my confidential information with the board of directors, so I hold the org responsible for this violation and breach of trust.
“We are so committed to transparency’ nanowriomo doesn’t actually identify themselves in messages, so it’s unclear which staff member has done this, but I can only assume this was done by Kilby herself since, who else is left?
I wrote to the board of directors on Monday November 18th, immediately after this happened. As of the time of posting this, I have not received a response. No acknowledgement, not apology, no ‘we’re looking into this’; nothing. So in addition to being doxxed, I am also being ghosted. Yay me!
As it’s unclear who is even on the board of directors anymore (seriously guys, is it just Kilby?), I don’t have anyone else I can reach out to at this point. Apparently the executive director is allowed to commit gross misconduct and there is zero recourse to be had because there’s no oversight or governing body she has to answer to. I tried to do things ‘the right way’ and I tried to resolve this directly but nanowrimo refuses to engage with me. So I am escalating this here, to a public space. Because what else can I do?
