2024.11.25 18:25 termonoid PC slower when connected to Internet (Windows 11)
Around middle of October i got this problem. Basically some of the processes feels slow and laggy when i have internet connection (WI-fi or ethernet, doesn't matter). When i turn it off, it works seemingly fine, like before. I'll list all the "symptoms" in detail:
- File Explorer is takes long to open initially (like 10-20 seconds), and once it does, it will work fine for some time but if you leave it unattended for a few mins, it will freeze again and take same amount of time to unfreeze. It often gives a "Wait for program to respond" thing during this. Also, when i open a folder it may take a second or two for it to load fully. And when i drag files from it manually, it also tends to freeze during that, for like 10-15 seconds.
- Groove Music also takes around 10 seconds to load. More specifically, when i click on the audio file, it opens instantly, but song itself takes time to load and start playing. Again after initial freeze it'll work fine for some time them reset if you stop interacting with it. This also happens to default Windows "Settings" app.
- When attempting to download a file from the internet, specifically kind of download that wants you to choose an exact path of your download, it'll take 20-30 seconds to load a File Explorer, while browser freezes. This one also "cures" temporarily and goes back to it again after a while. Although it can also freeze for every download even if there's a short time between them (only on Firefox it seems). Downloads that automatically use default "Downloads" folder work completely fine.
- Firefox freezes for a 10-15 seconds during the initial start up, later it works fine as long as i won't close it. Doesn't apply to any of the other browsers.
- SDD storage runs out sometimes. I have 118 GB total on it, and around 4,76 GB left. Before the problem occured, it wouldn't affect anything. After it all started though, i had it say that i have little storage left twice by this point. When i would check how much storage i have left, it would show me only like 300-400 MBs. This would be fixed with restarting the PC, which would make it have the same amount of storage left as before. Keep in mind that first time it happened was less than two weeks ago and after that i would clean all temp files and even went as far as deleting some stuff off my SDD that i do not need. Freed like 1-2 extra GBs like that and today it happened again, restarting helped this time too. Worth to mention that first time it happened i was playing a Steam game for around an hour, the "little storage left" notification occured during gameplay.
Another important thing that may be a clue as to what cause all this is that it all started around October 19th - 21st. By which i mean i already encountered the issue on early October 21st, and im pretty sure i did not deal with it on 19th. And on Oct 20th my Windows updated.
I'd like to get some advice or leads on what exacly caused this and how do i fix this. Apologise for using repetitions and simple lingo, English isn't my first language. Thank you in advance.

2024.11.25 18:25 Fluffy_Article_8690 Recommendations for heroes to try for each class as a beginner?
I'm trying out each class before I settle on a hero to main. So far I have decks for Illusionist, Guardian, Wizard, Brute, and Assassin. Right I'm sticking with Blitz since my friend group is only playing blitz. Have an Azalea precon on the way as my ranger. Looking for heroes to try out for the following classes: Warrior, Runeblade, Ninja, and Mechanologist.
Breakdowns in how the suggested heroes like to do things is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

2024.11.25 18:25 HalcyonHeartbeat In the Epilogue Now... (RDR2)
First time playthrough. I loved playing through Chapters 1-4. Once 5 came around, I slowed down a bit, took time to smell the roses. I wanted to make sure Arthur had as much time as I could give him. I knew he was going to die, that much was spoiled to me years ago. So I made sure I was prepared. I treated him right. When the sun set, and the epilogue began, things just felt different. Don't get me wrong, I love John as a character, and I think Arthur chose the right man to put his faith in. But playing as him just feels so empty. I can feel echoes of Arthur everywhere I go on the map. Even the new parts, which I was looking so forward to exploring, feel like they're not even worth going to. I just did the first Sadie mission, and took out the loan at the bank to get Beecher's Hope. Am I alone in this? Or do other people feel that emptiness?

2024.11.25 18:25 aryng Using Xbox controller. Analog stick constantly switching between fly controls to view controls
I've only been doing training mission and using the cockpit POV. I havnt messed with any settings. Whenever I move the analog stick too much, the game automatically stops my flying inputs and switches to the view around the cockpit mode. This is getting frustrating and quickly losing my drive to keep trying. Any suggestions?

So if I understand the terms correctly, we get 2% back in the form of points on eligible purchases. Assuming we're talking eligible purchases, would using a GameStop gift card as my form of payment give those points or do I have to use a traditional form of payment like a credit/debit card?
Also, most items on the website have their MSRP price and then a price under it that says "47.99 (or whatever it is) for Pro users". This number is (from what I've seen) usually 2% off the listing price...is that the points they're referring to or a separate discount for Pro users?
