I have this project for my computer engineer class. It requires to analyze a trace on wireshark and identify intentional and unintentional (supporting) activities. I have tried for hours to make sense of it and I just can’t. This project is one of the last hurdles so I can graduate.
I am looking for someone who really knows how to use wireshark and is willing to help me navigate the trace, and help me identify intentional and unintentional (supporting) activities. Good morning,
So, my jury duty summons was sent to my previous address (my grandparents house) and they didn’t give it to me until the day of for some reason. I was able to get it postponed until today (11/25) and they seemed mostly understanding. However, anytime I checked the portal yesterday and the day before it still just says to check back after 5pm. I’ve called 14 times to speak to someone at the courthouse and as soon as I press 0 the call immediately ends. Am I cooked?

When I finally did , I did the PPA and my charge ability YTD is at 20.4%. Just wondering if this is normal . When I joined I was told analysts are not chargeable for first six months. My HRP started messaging me saying why isn’t my scheduling updated - and asked for my Role id. I asked my manager about it and i was told to not worry about it…

The American left in its current state is a hallowed out husk of its former self. We have no unified popular message, no influence on the Democratic Party, little to no influence on culture, hell, even union workers are voting Republican now. THIS IS A DISASTER.
I don’t know when it happened exactly but the unified Bernie movement turned into apathy, anti-electoralism (not talking about Paul as that doesn’t represent his views), sectarianism, and irrelevance. We let our opposition frame our beliefs as a bunch of annoying purity testing reactionaries obsessed with unpopular wedge issues when we are the side that should be selling what is the most popular message ever, WORKER LIBERATION. We do not help ourselves in dispelling the rights caricature of us. I remember when Paul and Destiny talked about the Finkelstein debate, Paul brought up the need for a disrupter. I agree, but if your not disrupting with a coherent common sense message then it sounds more like whining, which is how we sound when we obsess over obscure (to average Americans) social and foreign policy issues, thus drowning out our main economic messages.
I see all this talk about things like revolution and general strike, and all of it only holds us back. We can literally change 4/6ths of congress every 2 years and 5/9ths of the whole federal government every 4 years by VOTING. You may complain about how the 2 party system is rigged and the electoral college makes our vote irrelevant but how I see it Trump proved that you can take over a party, and the places MOST EFFECTED BY CAPITALISM have the MOST ELECTORAL POWER. What do we do? Waste our time on doomed grifting third parties, and yell at each other over supporting or not supporting a party that doesn’t represent us.
Maybe you say PACS and other interest groups rig the system but what is stopping us from pooling our money and starting our own? If politicians are as corrupt as you say then why don’t WE bribe them. Cenk Uyger and Kyle Kulinski started the Justice Democrats and it WORKED getting AOC and others elected, and they are some of the most popular people in congress. How many of us, myself included, show up to Democratic Party caucus meetings or try to get into local party leadership? Republicans show up to every damn school board meeting.
We were lulled into a false sense of security having social media, large companies, and the party kowtow to some of our niche social values while suppressing our broader message but now that’s done. Online activism became our only influence and with all social media shifting right, that is no longer an option. I recognize the hypocrisy as that is what this post is, but I’ll end with what we should have pushed from the beginning, a call to action. If we are to pull ourselves from this hole, every one of us must take part in influencing the party outside of this space. If you can run for office, great but that’s unrealistic for most. Why not try writing to the state branch of the Democratic Party or your leaders, why not donate $50 to interest groups or elections you support, why not attend a local Democratic meeting? Those actions exponentially increase your influence over the average voters. And for the love of god we need to unify. I’m not a communist or an anarchist or a liberal but I’d love to work with you on the 90% of things we agree on (and what the majority of Americans agree with). If you read till the end thanks. Hopefully something I said resonated.

I have so many guilt feelings about being resentful with him for not preparing us for this. Can I love him and still feel this way? I would give anything to have him back. I pretend he is not dead most of the time. I talk to him in my mind while I do stuff. We didn't have much in common, we bonded over not many things but one of them was food. I love cooking and pastry, so everytime I make a recipe, I talk to him in my head (and a lot of times it ends up being out loud) about what I am doing. Then at times reality hits. He is dead. We will never have this conversations made up in my head. I will not get a second chance to grow our relationship, to tell him the uncomfortable things to say. I made my mistakes as a daughter, and now I can't go back in time. I am almost 25, but still feel like a kid. I don't know how to be an adult, and suddenly I have to figure it out. I cannot stop wishing I had a real adult in the picture to tell me what to do, to support me. And I cannot help but feel resentful. For not letting us a family, for choosing a drug addict as a mom who is not in the picture. For having not one, but 3 kids with her. For not planning our future. For not leaving us a single cent. For making me responsible of paying rent and feeding 3 growing boys with my cleaning job all of the sudden. I don't know how to deal with all these feelings, if it is right or normal for people in my situation to feel this way. And I have to pretend nothing is happening most of the time so my brothers don't get scared. But just like the feelings, bills pdf pill up on my phone and so their needs, and no amount of overtime seems to be enough. I see no light after the tunnel. I just have to hope it will get better. But it is really hard when you don't know how you will put food on the fridge the next week. How can I no feel resentful? Leukemia, I hate you.

I am highschool senior outside of the US and I have a relative who lives there. I am applying to USF, but he said that it is not worth it. He said that with a 1500+ SAT score and many regional awards in my country, I should try to apply for better ranked universities. The thing is, I was under the impression that USF is one of the highly regarded universities, with high diversity and lower tuition. Even if i get a good scholarship from those higher ranked universities, it is not likely that it would be good enough for my family to afford.
The agency that is helping me apply to college said that it is too late to start, as I need to prepare essays and they would need 2 months beforehand to prepare. Moreover, I would need to pay them quite a large fee for advanced service.
I don't want to go through the hassle of applying to another university as I am completely lost without the agency helping me, and my relative telling me that the university that I'm applying to is bad makes me feel like I've made a wrong decision, and makes me feel like shit.
Sorry for the long read, I just needed someplace to vent because I am feeling lost and stressed out trying to please everyone.

2024.11.25 18:30 WhiskeyAndNoodles I fnally got a great vocal sound and a great bass sound on a track. How can I save those chains to be able to pull them up whenever I start a new project?
Basically the title. I wanna save my vocal chain, save my bass chain, and when I start a new project, just pull them up to have a solid ground to start with.
It seems pretty simple, but I'm still a noob and haven't been able to figure out how to save them and then just hot two buttons or whatever to have them be on my new project ready to go.
