Recently I used Clip Studio Paint's trial version, which I then discovered was 3.1.4.
But when I actually bought the perpetual version, I found out that it was the 3.0 version. Skimming through Reddit threads what I'm getting is that I can't upgrade until next year?! But if I actually spent LESS money on a yearly plan, I could have the latest version? Please tell me I have this wrong and this is not what I actually signed up for.
What kind of software you buy and they don't give you the latest version?!

I work in the fashion industry, and often receive samples of products to test/film and photograph for promotional materials for the company. When a product sells out and is retired, I'm never been asked to return the samples.
I keep and wear most of them personally, but after a few years I have a growing pile of items that I know I'll never use. There is demand online for these items so I know there are people out there who would enjoy them more than me.
Would it be in poor taste to resell the items online to make a little extra money and pass them to someone who really wants them? Or should I just try to regift/donate/hold onto for all eternity?

Hi everyone, I'm a bit of an interloper here, having never had painted nails but I hope you'll bear with me.
Tldr, tips for art on someone else's nails with a list of questions at the end.
Around 18 months ago my wife decided that she'd like to go back to doing her own gel nails. But she said how she'd need to get them done professionally occasionally as she enjoys having nail art. To which I responded something like "I'm sure I could do some, the easy bits at least". I watched a few videos, and had a practice using normal nail polish a cocktail stick and a coke bottle to do dots for flowers. I progressed to doing our daughter's (5) flowers, I can't paint the base layers.
For most of the last year I've been doing my wife's nail art every two weeks and we've progressed from simple dot flowers. I've got a range of brushes and tools, we've done some stickers, got a stamp (and a couple of stamping polishes). But I have a few questions.
We mostly use mylee gels, although I've got some cheaper Amazon ones for more colours and practice.
- Some of the videos I've watched recently have put base coats on before doing the art, so it's, base - colour - top (I think) - base - art -top. Why? What does that add?
- I've noted some spreading out of the art between painting and finish, for example I can do precise sharp leaves but by the time we're done they are then a bit blobby.
- We tried doing a matt coat with some sparkly art, putting the matt top coat over it all, which makes it a bit muted, any better way to try and do this? (I think doing the art on top of the matt and then a normal top coat will make it all shiny?)
- Any way to have a bit of sparkle through a matt top coat (thinly start sky kind of thing)?
- What's your top tip for doing bright crisp art with decent contrast between the art and the base colour?
- Is this the best sub for asking questions like this? I tried to search but it wasn't obvious to me.

I was just pondering on this for a while and couldn’t find an answer, if someone was 30-35% bodyfat and e.g. was consuming 1500 calories (200g of protein) and doing weight training, would their body prioritise the fat as energy or the muscle or both?
Or is this a matter of genetics or hormones? I genuinely have no clue and the answers I’ve seen usually describes someone either not morbidly obese, not on an extreme of a calorie deficit or doesn’t weight train. My question revolves around all 3

I lose (1000 shares at $40 and sell my debit spreads for $70-$80 each for $6,300-$7,200) Scenario 3: GME doesn't go to $40 between now and Dec 6th, but is above $34 by Jan 17th My CC's expire worthless and I get about $9,000 for my ITM debit spreads. ----------------- Typically I don't do calendar spreads, so I don't know if I'm missing anything. Hi all - I had a consultation for either a radical reduction or maybe top surgery last week and it didn't go quite as I hoped/I think by emphasizing that I am cis slash don't ID as trans or nonbinary, she understandably focused more on the radical reduction option. I scheduled a follow-up to discuss top surgery but I want to figure out how best to backtrack/rephrase things so it's clear that I DO have a gender dysphoria and top surgery is not something I'm only weighing after our first appointment.
Curious is folks have suggestions for how to phrase things so she feels confident and comfortable with moving forward with top surgery for me. Particularly curious if any cis or non-binary folks who have had top surgery have guidance on what they said in their consult?

I eat these same three meals, every day, and im getting sick of it.
Breakfast: 2 eggs, Greek yogurt with strawberries mixed in,
Lunch: a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and two slices of whole grain wheat bread. Pistachios and a fiber one bar
Dinner: Salad with Lf Ranch, chicken, and peppers.
This is about 110g of carbs (this is not including fiber since I keep hearing conflicting info on whether or not you should count net carbs or not)

I also had severe back pain, and things weren’t sitting right with me so I went to the emergency department and they told me I was having a miscarriage. Not soon after I started heavily bleeding.
