I have been attending a church that is 40 mins from my home. I became a member 1 year ago. They are a part of the United Church of Christ (UCC). They are a older congregation. I am 57 and one of the younger members. They have openly embraced and loved me from day one. I had a member this week, he is 86 I think. He sought me out to apologize for using a gendered term that to me is neutral. But he told me he felt bad all week for what he said. I assured him that I felt no malice from what he said. He was not the first to have a slip up. All of them felt bad and apologized. I love my church.

I‘m not very well informed about everything Monster Hunter but I got on board with MHW. Now I know Wilds is coming up but just now I saw on the PS Store that Monster Hunters (yes plural) is a newly announced game. 2024.11.25 19:40 sheik_n_shake Cat - tick paralysis
Yesterday my 4yo cat was showing signs that were not normal. I found a tick and removed it immediately, it was probably no more than 3-4mm in bloated size and was probably on her over night. She is currently not eating or drinking and weak and not running around. She can still walk, use her back legs and swish her tail.
My question, is the anti tick syrum my "only" option at this stage or is it possible for recovery to happen naturally?
If I go ahead with treatment it will probably end up being $2000-4000 so I'm told. If need be I will, but just gauging if it's a no other options moment or a chance to not have to. I would obviously monitor closely for any further decline and have already done a detailed check for any other potential ticks.

2024.11.25 19:40 Amidnightsnack7 Coparenting (not really) with abusive ex
It has been 7 years since I have left my abusive ex. It has been a horrible back and forth custody battle in court for a couple of years. In the end he won. I was a stay at home mom and I had a hard time finding stable work. I feel like no one has believed me or cared. He manipulated my kids so much into believing everything is my fault. My court appointed attorney even suggested I get back with him to be in my children’s lives. He does not allow them to see or talk to me. He has me blocked on their phones. The only time I see them is when I take him to court for violating the court order. But I am EXHAUSTED. I have been mentally dragged through the mud and stepped on. I have stopped trying. I am tired of the emails full of lies and manipulation and saying nasty things to me. At what point is choosing myself ok? Is walking away ever ok? Some days I dont even feel like being here. I can’t afford therapy. I can’t afford a lawyer. I cry almost everyday over my children but I can’t take the abuse anymore. I just want to be left alone. But I know that still won’t happen because he finds ways to show up. He will serve me with new court papers, usually child support. The abuse never stopped, it just continued into coparenting. I moved on and found someone who has been perfect for me and we recently had a baby. It has been hard to just be happy knowing my baby has siblings that he will likely never meet because of my ex. I don’t know what to do anymore and just wish someone would guide me. I wish someone would give me the answers. I wish people knew the truth about him. I wish I would have done more sooner. I wish someone would listen.

I found a location I've not seen meantioned anywhere for a Seva Suit, the Seva-D suit. It is located in Cage, its a tall building in which you will endure a psi anomoly, if you make it to the top of the building the psi affliction will dispers and the journey back down should be easier. This is a location thats closer than some of the others, theres also a man nearby. I recomend you talk to him, its a good little pice of somber history in the zone and well worth the little talk.

Mine is that devs should NOT be adding miniature horses, shetlands, ect. They can, but at least make them unable to be ridden, like foals, otherwise it would look cringe asf and promote irl horse riding abuse. I may be overdramatic, but imo Icys are enough, no need to add other <13hh horses, instead update old models first, for example mustys and tbs, they need it, arabians too, kinda. Instead of riding them, they may be used in horse driving with special carriages for 1-2 people, like it is irl (I have no idea what the carriage's name is, I'm not into horse driving)
