The title says it all. Went for an interview at a job that I thought I wanted now I’m not quite sure if I want it. I’m leaning towards no. Too exhausted to even think about it anymore. It’s so self-destructive and I know I’m burning professional bridges and I still can’t get myself to return this call. It makes no sense, but I can’t get myself to talk to her. And there are two of them calling, one is a talent acquisition manager, plus the other the manager of the floor I applied to. The AVPD is really ruining my life. It’s getting to be a struggle to do anything. Working is beyond difficult looking for another job is unbelievably hard anxiety around the phone is getting higher and higher every year. so embarrassed that I can’t be like other people.

Does Baltimore stay the premier city in the mid Atlantic?
In OTL Baltimore has kind of collapsed on itself with white flight and high crime.
I grew up around there and have a love hate relationship with it. It feels like a city that has lost its purpose. The port is not as important anymore and even in my lifetime it feels D.C is kind of the sucking the life out of it.

Emmalyn herself is a Hedge Walker, a type of witch who’s constantly traversing the line between the dead and the living and can cross into the etheric plane at will. She mainly specializes in rites, incantations, and exorcism. She teaches algebra and geometry at the Adcock Private Institute for the Gifted and Talented, a private boarding school reserved only for the best students in Massachusetts, and the club president of the Hedge Guild, a secret after-school club for fellow Hedge Walkers that is responsible for protecting the school from poltergeists and other apparitions that could pose a threat to other students and/or staff members.
Most witches in this universe typically have at least one Specialty - a mode and/or type of magic that they’re the most naturally proficient in. A few examples include Eclectic Witches, Holy Witches, Ceremonial Witches, Kitchen Witches, Crystal Witches, Elemental Witches, Cosmic Witches, and, of course, Hedge Walkers, though there are a lot more types beyond this list.
Bonus fact! In this universe, there are 3 different types of Hedge Walkers: Born Walkers (those who were born with the power to traverse the Hedge), Reborn Walkers (those who unlocked this power after dying and being brought back to life), and Contract Walkers (those who formed a pact with other Hedge Walkers to become Hedge Walkers themselves). Reborn Walkers are the rarest type, with Born Walkers being a close second. Emmalyn is a Born Walker.

I woke up this morning and my eye felt oddly achy. I thought nothing of it and I was like, “it’s probably nothing it’ll go away as I wake up more.” So I go on with everything, wash the dishes, feed my cats and dogs, then I go back to my room and lie in my bed to read some BL webtoons cause I can, and It randomly hit me. I felt my eye start tearing up for no reason at all and I thought, “Hm, maybe I have pink eye…?” So I got up and went to the bathroom, leaned over the counter and looked into the mirror and my eye looked normal right? No. I pulled down my lower eyelid and it was just all RED. I was so shocked because I don’t even know how I got it to be honest. Well anyways this is an amazing experience, 10/10 recommend!
