Im not new to manga but am new to collecting the Pokemon manga. I don’t have any but wanted to start with the ORAS arc(s?) but something stumped me. I went in Amazon since I wanted to check how much they were and I saw “Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire” but also saw “Pokemon Adventures: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire” so my question is, whats the difference? I know ORAS came before the Adventures ORAS but what’s different? Are they different stories?

I have two Barbour jackets that I bought new. I was never a fan of the wax smell and thought over time it would go away. The jackets are now 2 years old and the smell is still there, barely any less compared to when they were new. Mine only get worn for about 3 months out of the year. For the owners who've had theirs for many years, does the smell eventually go away completely? Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

I have worked myself up to going to my first confession as an adult (I'm 40). I haven't been since probably 2nd grade first communion prep and that was to say "sometimes I don't listen to my mom and dad and I fight with my siblings." I've found several parishes near me that have confession at different times throughout the day so if I am unable to confess I have backup options. My home parish (and my childhood parish) has very much de-emphasized confession, such that they offer a half hour slot on Saturday. I'm hoping to get myself right so that I will feel less sheepish about going during such a tight time window.
My question is, how do the mechanics work? Do I just walk up to the confessional (and is there a more-or-less standard location for the confessional)? And I've worked through several examinations of conscience so I think I can be focused, but is it acceptable to go to daily confession to confess several decades of sin? If I call ahead would the anonymity of the screen still be available? I'm sure it varies from place to place but I'm trying to know what to expect.

And because of this the girls around me don't interact with boys even my school mates also never did this and i changed 3-4 schools in my life but this was and is same everywhere. What should i do?

2024.11.25 19:48 AdamNeedsAUserName Experiencing extraordinary calf muscle pains
I’ve been learning to play hockey for roughly seven weeks now (this is only once a week for two hours mind you, it’s all I have time for as of now). Things have been going pretty well, and I’ve been enjoying my time playing even though I’m very bad.
My problem started two or three weeks ago, my coach was teaching me to backwards skate and the moment I started my muscles from my calf to just after the high arches in my feet flared with agonizing pain. I pushed through the best I could considering I both sucked at skating backwards and was in immense pain
Flash forward a few days ago and once again I’m asked to backwards skate. I get maybe a good three drills in and the pain is simply unbearable in my right calf, which is the only thing that hurt. It felt like the charlie horse from hell.
Is there any good method to prevent this or help lessen the pain? As of now it’s immobilizing and I have to take to the bench for several minutes to rest before I get back on the ice. I attempted stretching, not that I knew what I was doing (it wasn’t anything that hurt at least), but that didn’t help any. At a loss right now, child me is devastated that I can’t do this because I wanted to be a defender lol.

2024.11.25 19:48 Kangaloosh Starting seeds in the spring - what do you use?
I'm in NJ. I'm looking forward to the early spring. I spent this summer getting a big area ready for planting next spring.
How do you start native seeds in the spring?
In the past couple years, I buy some seedlings and have been saving the 3" long 'tubes' for the next year. And buying starter trays with 72 spots from walmart.
Any other ideas? Low cost and large quantity.
Do you put 1 seed in each spot? or several and then thin them out?
When do you start planting? And then when do you transfer them to the ground? Just based on outside temp? Or when the seedling gets a certain size? Being much smaller, the 72 spot trays don't give them much space for their roots vs. the 3" longer tubes.

PS any comments / advice on my 'getting an area ready' method? For the last couple years, I get loads of 2'x3' or so sized brown/ NO printing cardboard from Costco (the sheets between layers of products on the pallets).
Then put them down on areas of my lawn (sometimes I give the existing grass a crew cut, sometimes not even). ANd then cover with new dirt / compost.
Sometimes I put 2 - 3 layers of cardboard down, sometimes 1. Haven't seen a difference in results.
The grass and weeds get killed off and with the cardboard covered by dirt, breaks down in a few weeks. And the natives I've planted weeks later or the next spring, seem to be doing well.
Thoughts?
