This has been bugging me for a while and I don't understand what/why this is so out of wack, there must be another variable I am missing. Latest example of many I have below - and cleanest because I had 0 to start with.
My Asteroids Value is quoted at 97.34s.
I got a drop of 5.96M Luterium Alloys, each worth 98.66T. Total value of 588.16Q.
I do not sell alloys so 100% of this asteroid went into my "stash" without being sold.
I don't understand the disparity? Surely I should have received 97.34s of Luterium bars.
I have been suspicious of this for a while but this drop was when I had not smelt a single bar of Luterium.
Anyone have an explanation

I live and work in California and have been with my company for over 10 years. Previously, PTO was accrued, with a maximum cap of 80 hours for employees with 3+ years of service. In September 2024, the company switched to an anniversary-based system, granting 40 hours (for employees with less than 3 years) or 80 hours (for 2+ years) on their hire date anniversary. They retroactively applied this policy to 2024 but didn’t notify employees except for word of mouth in October or November.
My hire date is in early July. In mid-July 2024, I used 8 PTO hours. Under the old accrual system, the 8 hours were deducted but offset by hours I accrued from July to September, bringing me back to the 80-hour cap. However, after the policy change, they removed all previously accrued PTO (80 hours), reset my balance to 80 hours based on my anniversary date, and then deducted the 8 hours I had already used, leaving me with 72 hours.
Is this legal? Aren’t accrued PTO hours considered wages under California law?

2024.11.25 19:49 Mindless-Jicama180 Avoid the dreamliner?
Hi all. Highly nervous of aircraft failure (thank air crash investigation when I was a kid).
Already changed from a 737 max to a dreamliner for a long haul and I'm also due another 10 hour dreamliner flight end of next year and I'm now seeing horizontal stabiliser issues and it reminds me of the 747s.
I'm debating searching high and low for airbus flights instead. Am I doing the right thing (lots of extra ££) or am I just over thinking it?
