2024.11.25 19:31 Vitamin-Tee 6 or 8” Jointer

I’m looking to purchase a jointer to finish off my shop (for now). I know I want a floor standing machine and I’m trying to decide between a 6 and 8 inch bed. I’m looking at the Jet models with the current sales they have for Black Friday.
I’m working out of a single car garage (of a 3 car garage) but have a little bit of elbow room. The 6” is the obvious choice for space but the 8” seems like the better long term investment and I think I can make it work in terms of space. The other issue with the 8” is I’ll have to run 220, which is very doable but it obviously comes at a cost.
I’m just getting started and my end goal is to make furniture for my own enjoyment. I can tell you that when making a table recently I didn’t enjoy using my planner and a jig to joint my wood. I like the idea of doing all my own milling but I want to do it the right way with minimal frustration.
Will I be able to get by with a 6” jointer or should I figure out how to make an 8” work?

We are finally almost done with our kitchen and I chose manufactured wood floors for our remodel. Now I’m trying to figure out rugs. I really like tumbler rugs and have used them on our tile floors for the last few years. But they don’t specifically say if they are safe for wood floors.
Anyone know? Also if this isn’t safe what is a safe rug pad to use? Thanks so much

I'm debating myself if I should buy them or not, one thing i love from Breath of the wild is the possibility of aiming with the gyroscope of the console. Does Borderlands have that? Does it have Aim assistance? I have player FPS in PC for a long time and I really hate aiming with sticks.

2024.11.25 19:31 log1k Broken/corrupt files when uploading to SharePoint list from email

I have a flow setup that captures PDF and csv files, then saves it to a SharePoint list. I can't for the life of me figure out why these files become corrupt/broken after being uploaded.
The attachments are stored into an array using item() in the 'append to array variable' (I've also tried using a JSON expression or the dynamic variables like Name and File Content).
The add attachment at the very end will then use items()('Apple_to_each')?['Name']
I've also previously tried converting to base64 and also had a JSON expression in there that still failed. I have verified with the compose action that there is content in the array as it proceeds through the steps. I'm at a loss for what it's doing.
