 | Hi all, My hair has been thinning for about 6 years now for reasons out of my control. On top of that I got a Botox-type hair treatment that kinda loosened my curls over a year ago. I usually wear my hair in a turban so it’s never out, so I’m always in protective styles (braids). I’m not sure what to do about it? The porosity of my hair isn’t uniform due to the treatment so I’m finding that the top is really coarse and the bottom is almost limp. In the early-mid 2010s, it seemed like most newer bands had members who were in their early-mid 20s when they first started out or got big.
Nowadays, a lot of bands who first start out or get big have members who are either in their 30s or late 20s when that happens. Is it just me, or does it seem like it takes longer for bands to gain success nowadays than it did in the 2010s?

I overgave and dropped everything for those who I loved. Learned to stop doing that; made some boundaries. When I realized something crossed my boundary, I learned to speak up. Those friends didn't approve and turned on me (individual cases). All of a sudden, I was someone else to them. I didn't know they saw me this way. I thought they were like me - loved me like I loved them.
Fast-forward to another era. I'm more alert and aware. I'm trying to make healthier friends and find those who actually care about me. I learned through some tough events that they didn't and blamed me for their faults. My sisters - those who I thought would be there forever.
Next era. Okay, I need to give less. I need to love less. Wait, this isn't me? Made no long-lasting friends.
Current era. Mourning my closest friendship, my 'sister' who couldn't have a conversation with me of hard feelings and threw me out. But, wait, I was going through hell then - an injury. Where was she? No where to be found. Why do I feel bad about this? Oh, yeah. I realized she wasn't there for me. She may have never loved me as much as I loved her. But, I was her maid of honor? Mourning a close childhood friend who hurt me 5 years ago. It took me years to be able to talk about it. I felt like she was a bully and yet, I learned how to process these emotions and share them. I spoke and she was hesitant to continue. We are now messaging every few weeks/months to process. Okay, hope? She wants to keep a distance. Right.
Through this, I've worked tremendously on myself and loving myself. These thoughts span a timeline of 10+ years. In the beginning, I was pouring every emotion I've had on friends to have those "real girlfriends". Then, that became less of the negative, more of the positive and trust. Then, that trust was broken. They couldn't handle any negative of my life. Thrown out. Okay work through talking about it. Okay, now what? I love too much? I love too hard? I show up for others too much? I expect that in return? Okay, try not to expect anything. What? Now what?
Will it constantly be a cycle of being the one who loves than feels loved? Why was I born into this. I hate being an eldest daughter. I want to be loved like I how I love others. Why do I love so vast and so deeply? Will anyone else love me in that way?
Anyone else go through this? I can assure you I love myself and have done that work. It's so hard to feel loved as an eldest daughter because our capacity to love - to give - to protect - to provide is so vast and deep. How do we feel loved by those around us? How do you?

Hello,
I'm currently looking to add a proxmox cluster to my homelab and want to add shared storage for high availability, mostly to mimic my work environment. Looking to add a 10Gbe storage network and wanted some advice regarding compatibility. Current set up is pretty straightforward
3 x Lenovo M720Q in a proxmox cluster. OS on local storage, VMs on NFS/iSCSI storage.
1 x Custom NAS (currently running Unraid trial, unsure whether or not to move to TrueNAS)
1 x Old HP N54L Microserver for backup storage, running TrueNAS Scale
All of these are just connected to an HPE 2530-24G-PoE+ for 1Gb networking.
I'd like to add a switch which can then be used to communicate on a flat storage network, likely using a Mikrotik CRS309-1G-8S+IN.
I was looking at getting 5 x Mellanox Connectx-3 10GbE SFP+ cards (MCX312B-XCCT) or Super Micro AOC-STGN-i2S from eBay and using DACs to connect to the switch, I'd add active cooling to the cards in the M720Qs for definite and possibly in the NAS's if needed.
My questions:
1) As the cards are EoL, how do I verify the cards will be supported in Proxmox/TrueNAS before purchase?
2) For DACs, I've read that Mikrotik don't really care so can I just go generic DAC from FS.com or will I need the Mellanox/Intel ones (depending on what NICs I buy)?

Y'all, I was still salty about my failed sensor that happened back in September and I decided to log back in to see if the stupid bot had gotten any better. I already knew that if you typed a bunch of gibberish it pops ups a form where you at least can tell them what's going on, and when I typed in my gibberish today, this message popped up! "Phone support is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm PT at(888) 267-9887" Would you believe I just called it and spoke to a human being?!? I sure did! I told the lady all the details and she said my case will now go under review (which, whatever, it had already been under review months ago and I never heard back) and I should hear something in 3-5 business days. At least now I have a NEW case number and a freaking phone number to call if I don't hear back via email! I will come back and update this as it moves along. Here's hoping I finally get my replacement sensor! (NOTE: I kept my box with the serial number on it, and I'm glad I did because she asked for it!)
I want to add that I my second sensor worked really nicely, thus why I really want that replacement for my first one that failed! I learned a lot about what works for me and what doesn't. The only beef I had with them was the lack of customer service, but it seems like we complained enough that they must have listened to us!!!

daniel tigers grandpa is called grand-pere. he also wears a barret. this kind of doesn't make sense since grand-pere isn't French. however his age does make sense for someone who may have been stationed in France during ww2. he probably learned French loved the culture and came back. he may have had 1 or 2 other tiger cubs across the pond. either way he came back here and kept his love of the culture.
