Hello, we are two players (We are are 28M & 26F) looking to join a game together with characters we've already made but never had the chance to play.
About us: We are both experienced 5e DMs and players. I, 26F (Dutch) am a diligent note taker, dice obsessed and have way too much time on my hands which is mostly spend of doing anything DnD related, such as working on my own homebrew world. 28M (English) is a creative, a writer and runs his own homebrew game as well. Both of us have around 3 years of DnD experience. We are used to using Owlbear as our digital tabletop but we are open to using other programs. We both enjoy working with the DM, we like to contribute to the world when permitted and we are very consistent when it comes to showing up for games.
What we look for: We would like to join a weekly long-term character driven campaign with players that enjoy RP. We're mostly looking for just a generic medieval fantasy game but we are open to other types of games as well. Both of us are planning on playing fairly intelligent characters, so we would love a world that is rich in lore. We would prefer to play with people around our age, in their 20s or 30s and with people who can be consistent when it comes to showing up to play. We are available to play on Thursdays from 6PM to 11PM GMT.
The characters we would like to join with are:
Sigurn Grimsdottir, the Aasimar Knowledge Cleric. - A Norse inspired, wise-woman who used to live on the edge of a small village, she was practically a hermit because she was ostracised by the other villagers as she was seen as a witch. She has visions she receives from Odin about venturing out into the world for knowledge and to find an important artefact for him.
Calderon Willowmane, the High Elf Conjuration Wizard. - A 347 year old elf from a large city where only elves lived. He worked as a courtier for centuries until a bit of an accident happened which caused him to have to flee the city. He is very much new at being a Wizard and struggles to learn the art of the arcane but he is committed to his studies. He is serious and doesn't have much of a sense of humour but i hope he can learn to loosen up over the course of the campaign.
Why are we looking for a new campaign? A while ago one of our friends wanted to set up a campaign for Thursdays, we had made our characters, were very excited to play them but the game ended up never happening. Both of us had gotten attached to our characters and bonded over the fact we both had made nerds. So we both wish to join a campaign where we can play these character's together.

Hello, I bought my first iphone ever, Iphone 15. I don’t have storage anymore so I tried to transfer photos and videos to my pc (dell inspiron 2024) I transferred some of it and I’m flabbergasted : I can’t open more than 95% because this photos and videos are in a format that is not handle by my pc (.mov, .heic). I tried to open videos with VLC, MPC,Pot Player : failure. And for the photos, my pc can’t open it 😫😫
Does someone has a solution? Or do I have to change my phone to an android 😬?

So my internet went down this morning for several hours, worked fine most of the day and has now gone down again. The "Power" and "Wan" lights are on but the light on the Linksys is red. After giving the person in live chat the mac address I was told that there is no active fiber in my area and I will need to wait several days for an engineer visit. However the neighbours Gigaclear is working just fine. How much bullshit did they just try to feed me?

Help please. New to Reddit no idea how to use it. My partner doesn’t drive. I have been with him 3 years. I wrote my car off dropping him home whilst seeing each other so now have a new car I pay monthly for which I wouldn’t have had if I didn’t drop him home that night.
He pays 0 towards my car, tax, petrol, insurance (we have lived together from around 8 months). I do everything in ‘my’ car, taking us places, taking him to his hair cut, to see his family, our food shop, to visit friends. We also work together.
I have to pay for parking at work 3x a week. (Bear in mind I pay around £300 odd out a month for car, insurance, tax and around £40 petrol a week). He says he will pay for parking as his ‘contribution’.
Today, I forgot to pay for parking which means I’ll no doubt get a ticket. I haven’t asked for half as I know he’ll refuse. I just went to tell him I forgot to pay (he comes in the car with me as I drive us both to and from work), I pay on the app and he transfers it but refuses to download the app himself to pay rather than me paying and transferring).
So now I potentially have a ticket on the way, he has already said he is not paying any of it as it’s ’my fault’ and ‘my responsibility’, and he will just pay the price of parking what he’d usually pay, towards the ticket.
Now am I being delusional or am I wrong for expecting half of the ticket?

Hello everyone! I recently switched from my wired anger slim+ to earbuds. My issue is the last few pairs keep slipping out and this trial and error is getting expensive. I was hoping for a solid recommendation from folks in the know about a good pair of earbuds that will stay in my ears. I’ve had the soundcore P3, moonbuds, and the skull candy dime 3. I liked them all especially the soundcore, but when I least expect it they pop out of my ears 😟
