hey ladies I (23F) need input on this situation I will make it brief
My bf (27m) has a half bathroom to himself he uses but to shower he uses his parent’s bathroom. So today my bf told me his mum put a camera in their bathroom to monitor the dogs while she’s away— and to talk to them.
He told me it’s just to watch the dogs and she told him not to touch it. He said the camera points to the dogs bed in the washroom but he said he’s probably still in the frame. Which he’s pretty much ok with because he didn’t say anything else but defending the reason why it’s there.
My issue and idk if you guys would feel the same but me personally, I feel only ur partner should see the parts we keep covered and hidden when in a serious relationship. So if he’s fine with being potentially exposed then I guess that’s what matters but for me and again personally I lose the attraction for someone if they lack self respect and privacy for themselves. Cause like I said only your partner should see your body and not anyone else.
I shared this with him just now and he msg back but I’m still a little annoyed because I feel like it’s just going to turn into an argument. This has nothing to do with his mother btw. This is how I feel towards him.
I believe and especially at this age you should respect your own privacy and irregardless if his mum doesn’t want him to move the camera when he’s undressing it shouldn’t be a crime to atleast cover or something because that’s just having respect for yourself.
Idk I think I should have more sympathy but I think he needs to understand where I’m coming from.

2024.11.25 19:30 stiffening how do i sue/hold my local ha accountable for causing me extensive and prolonged harm?

all i've been able to find on the hud website is how to report discrimination, which is a facet i do intend to pursue, but also doesn't feel wholly applicable
my case is incredibly complicated, so the summary is my housing authority has cost me thousands of dollars financially, negative rapport with several landlords, is causing me to move for the fifth time this year alone as a disabled person, has left me a month without communication when i've reached out to them to inform them of things at the longest and over a week at the shortest despite knowing i'm on a strict timeline, has also not responded to landlords that have reached out to them on my behalf, has cost me opportunities due to that, has flat out admitted to my face my case has been mishandled, has actively blamed me and thrown me under the bus for things that they did not handle despite me having written documentation where i can easily prove the opposite, cost me medical treatment, and i am now currently facing homelessness in the winter
i have not done anything that infringes on their rules, this has all been due to mishandling and neglect. i'm supposed to have been hospitalized due to trauma from the experience if that's any indication of how bad this has been, but i literally don't have any time to go inpatient as i must be available to be as proactive as possible to try and prevent homelessness. (if i were to get lucky and they were ready to finalize a new contract, i must be available to go sign it asap, and i cannot do that if i'm in a medical hold)
i have contacted several attorneys to try and see what i can do for legal recourse or just accountability, but several have denied taking it and most won't even respond to me
my next thought is to contact the local media in efforts to draw attention to it. my case is especially wild, but if it's happening to me, it's likely happening to other people as well
of course with thanksgiving come up, that is going to cause more delays in my case
does anyone know what i can do?

Completely stumped.
23M-Graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. I’m grateful in that I live in a HCOL at home with my parents therefore I am not under water yet, but I have made multiple attempts to spread my wings and they got to be clipped at this point. I cannot get a good criminal justice job for the life of me. I fail every single polygraph I take purely because of the job hunt anxiety I have. Found out this morning I am out of the hunt for another Homeland Security Job. Got denied for a Bureau of Prisons secretary job. Got denied for two different local police agencies. One for polygraph, one for a stupid traffic ticket (illegal left turn), they never even cared to do answer my appeal. Two years of hunting and nothing. I have 8 years of consistent work experience moving up the chain at my private education job. It’s insane because I literally can do anything and everything that is asked of me in mere seconds yet I feel like an utter waste. I have done everything from changing the thermostats to lifeguarding to running the front office to running the athletics program. I have no criminal background (otherwise I wouldn’t be employed at a school lol). I don’t do any drugs. I have the work experience and a degree, yet I am finding myself shut out of my entire field of study. If it helps I’m in South Florida (not sure if that is doxxing myself).
While I am not in any way depressed, I totally understand why people our age just give up.

What I think one of the first indicators is that the Soul lives apart from the body.
The body is always emphasized to be perishable as where in the New testament as well as the Old testament seem to show that the Soul exists independently from the body.
There are more verses that hint but don't say it outright.
What do you guys think?
