My bestfriend and I went out to celebrate her new job a few days ago. When she picked me up she’d talked about hoping that the bartender she’d mentioned was there. When we arrived, he wasn’t- so she asked about him to the bartender working. About five minutes after, he walked in and came over to talk to us. I casually mentioned how she talked about him- not thinking much of it- but then saw that this embarrassed her so I tried to backtrack. The whole night they were flirting pretty heavy before she informed me that she was disappointed because he had a girlfriend. This made me a bit uncomfortable because he’d said that he was a “happier person” when she came in, and they’d been very close physically to each other while engaging in flirtatious banter. I let her know it wasn’t something I personally would do, but told her to “do her thing” to which she rolled her eyes and started saying “I feel like you’re mad at me” (I wasn’t) throughout the night she twice asked “what if his relationship is rocky and I’m the one he’s supposed to be with” and that was a bit of a trigger for me, as I’ve been cheated on and it destroyed me. I advised it wasn’t fair to the girlfriend to think that was and she shrugged and said “I’m a bad person because I do not care.” This again, took me by surprise. I didn’t shy away from letting her know that that wasn’t a cool way of thinking. She then said “do I need to find somebody else to go out with” and that made me tear up. That night I told her to text me when she got home and let her know that I loved her and wasn’t upset, just that I wasn’t going to be dishonest, and I woke up to find she turned off her location and ignored my text. When I texted her about it, she told me that I’d essentially ruined the night for her and said “I’m sorry for making you feel bad about yourself. Our flirting stops and stops at the bar, that’s how bars work.” She’d claimed she was upset at me for telling him I had “talked about him” when he first came in, setting her up. I told her it was hurtful the things she said and she shrugged and basically shamed me for not knowing enough about bar scenes to know that that’s what customers/bartenders are supposed to do. She claimed that “my words may have said something else but I know my own boundaries.” I’m just devastated as I feel like this may be the end the longest friendship I’ve ever had, and I’m feeling very ashamed and guilty as I should have minded my own business, I just have seen her get destroyed over her own choices often and wanted to avoid any conflict/fallout. I’m just genuinely hurt and confused.

I don't know what to do anymore. Im on the cusp of an Academic Probation 3 in which I'll be gone for a semester.
I feel like a failure. I jerk off every morning just to feel anything then I'm just numb or barely functioning throughout the day. I don't sleep well. I'm obese.
Pretty much I've coming to a point where I should check out but something keeps telling me "It should get better soon." My brain can't focus on shit and I can't keep a healthy routine.

29F traveling solo to Malta from December 20th to December 24th. I'm planning to visit various sites and also want to experience the nightlife. I'm debating between staying in a hostel or an affordable single room.
I’m leaning towards a hostel because it’s a great way to meet people, party, and possibly find some travel buddies. On the other hand, a private room offers privacy and my own washroom, which is tempting.
Does anyone know if there are good parties or events happening in Malta before Christmas? If the nightlife scene is dead, I might just go for the private room. Would love your advice or suggestions! Let me know if you need more details.

it's hard to think about taking care of my body and finances when it feels impossible to consider if i'm even alive in ten years.
yes, i'm on meds and in therapy and am building my own support group one way or another. i'm in an incredibly privileged position and i am thankful for it each and everyday. at the same time the bad thoughts don't stop and i just wanted to put it out there even if i sound whiny lmao

Im mostly putting this here wondering if someone else has gone through this and maybe a virtual shoulder to cry on.
My mother was showing some cognitive and memory issues and after bloodwork xrays and MRI. They found small cell lung cancer. After 6 chemo treatments chest radiation for 15 doses, and followed up by brain radiation as a prophylactic treatment she was doing so well. After about 2 months she was in remission and no new growths. But the cognitive/memory issues seemed to come back with a vengeance.
We continued to work with cancer center and even with there geriatric Doctor who was fantastic. Adjusting meds and such hoping it was just "chemo brain". After further steep decline a referral from a year before called.
It was a geriatric specialist and after meeting with them we got the answer we dreaded and it was alzheimers. She does require around the clock support and help and I have been doing it alone until just recently. She has PSW visits twice a week to help with showering and we are waitlisted for a physical therapist to help her mobility and strength work(previous stroke and shoulder issue). Respite help is coming up but i am terrified to leave her
I have left a career and have lost a relationship deciding to be a full time caregiver for her. She raised me as a single mother and she deserves to be as comfortable and stay in a somewhat familiar environment for as long as possible. She loves her dog and cat and even though it hurts when she doesn't recognize me and I remind her who I am she lights up somewhat and for a split second she is mom again.
This is my mom and my story over the past year and a half. /exhale

Hello, everyone! I’d like to ask for some help with ideas for my Vampire: The Masquerade V20 campaign. It’s set in a small town in the United States, and the focus is on a war between the Camarilla and the Sabbat. To provide some context, the Camarilla sent a Prince and a group to form a Primogen council made up of particularly strong vampires (5th and 6th generation). The reason for this is that the town is home to a sealed sword, which was once wielded by a hunter to exterminate many vampires. The Sabbat previously dominated the town, but the Camarilla moved in to take control.
In the current stage of the campaign, the players have been hunting down and uncovering Sabbat groups, primarily Tzimisce conducting Koldunic rituals and attempting to create a Vozhd. The story has reached a climax where the Sabbat is severely weakened, and the Camarilla wants to deliver a final blow to wipe them out of the town for good.
My question is: how can I make this final mission or something beyond just the last battle? Keep in mind that it will involve high-level forces and some ancient vampires. I’d love tips on creating an engaging mission for the players and getting them involved in this conflict. One of the players is the Sheriff of the town.

 | This is a problem that I hope should get fixed soon with the solutions Treyarch can add to fix said problems. Solutions of which I wanna provide in order to make BO6 zombies more fun rather than a chore. And some quality of life changes as well. Okay so people weren’t kidding when they said BO6 zombies is harder than Cold War zombies. When I first played BO6 zombies on liberty falls and terminus, I already understand the basics of zombies due to me being a BO3 OG zombies player. And after playing for a while now, I realized the many rough problems when playing BO6 Zombies. Problems you guys can relate to. See as you progress through the rounds, the moment you reach round 30 plus is when shit starts getting hard for no reason. Literally round 30 is the new round 40 or 50 in old zombies terms. Literally your basic bullet guns even at pack 2 or 3 is straight dog shit. I mean it can kill zombies but at that point killing zombies will take long and will take more bullets. So at round 30, you literally need to pack a punch your basic guns to level 3 and have it be legendary rarity to in order to actually go through the rounds easier. But yet that still won’t help after the next problem I will mention, and that is the special bosses. The thing about special bosses like manglers and abominations and amalgam…is that at round 30 and above those things will take up unnecessary amounts of ammo out of your gun. AND THEY SPAWN IN MOSTLY EVERY SINGLE ROUND! So combine the basic zombies at round 30 with those special bosses, you will waste a lot of ammo and take a long time to finish each round. That is why I and you guys don’t wanna go anything above round 35 and just exfill. And lastly, BO6 zombies themselves have been made harder. How? Well at round 30 and above they are faster, more agile. They spawn the moment you go to one location to another. And you can’t camp anywhere without one attacking you from behind so you gotta keep moving and shooting. They definitely aren’t like the typical OG past zombies alright. But yet despite these challenging things BO6 zombies have, I can forgive all of that if they added these solutions and quality of life changes I will begin to show. Since I showed you the problems of what makes BO6 zombies harder than it should be. Here are my solutions as a pro OG zombies player that I hope Treyarch would add to fix these problems. Solutions that can ease the ammo damage problem and can make rounds after round 30 manageable. And these solutions can be easily implemented btw since the solutions I’m bringing up are perks. Now combine the perks I’m bringing up with the many augments it can have, it will make things way more easier:
