I'm up for a promotion at my job in financial services. A few other people in my small team have applied and there are some very good candidates in the mix.
I know and have been told that I am a strong candidate. however I completely choked in the first half of my interview. Like anxiety running wild, word salad, rambling... my manager had to prompt me several times to change the course of my answers.
I pulled it back in the second half when it got to more technical questions. I also had to do a short presentation which I think I was decent in.
Will the hiring manager take into account everything (i.e my general behavioumotivation, projects I've done etc) rather than how I presented myself in that terrible hour? I have a lot of good experience and they know me very well. They could tell I was nervous as hell and were very accommodating.

About 5 years ago I was introduced to a guy named "Brody" through my younger sister, who was, at the time, dating brodys good friend. Brody immediatly took a vested interested in me and started pursing me. He asked me out a bunch of times on seperate occassions, complimented me all the time, and was always telling my sister how interested he was in me. At the time i was not looking to date so I politley declined his advances.
a year later I started frequenting his place of work and we got a bit closer. I was dating someone else at the time so it remained very platonic but he took every opportunity to make it known to others and to my sister that he was still interested in me. after a few months, I ended things with my now ex (nothing to do with him, my ex was a bit psycho), and we started hanging out a lot more. I became more attracted to him but kept things at bay because I was fresh out of a relationship and told him it is best to remain friends right now.
fast forward a year and a bit, Brody and my sister go out for drinks, and end up hooking up. 3 times (seperate ocassions). She initated it. After about a month or so, he asked her to go for dinner and told her that he felt he had made a mistake because he still wanted to pursue me. then, for whatever reason, after telling her that, they hookedup again......
She was then livid and said that she has never had someone make her feel so little and insecure. I obviously felt terrible about the situation so I tried to distance myself from him for awhile but as time passed we continued to see eachother at his place of work and got close. Now I find myself thinking about him a lot and my attraction to him growing more and more. However, my sister has made it well known to me how. much she hates him, and once called me a narassist for texting him (nothing intimate, just platonic texts).
I get frustrated over the fact she KNEW he wanted to be with me but initated sleeping with him, and then is shocked when he says he still has feelings for me. I also get frustrated at the fact that he couldnt just control his urges enough to put his foot down and say no. Mostly i'm frustrated at myself for thinking about a man that hurt someone so close to me.
So, AITA for wanting to pursue something with a man I know has hurt someone I love?

I recently cancelled my insurance with Prulife because I realized that it's too expensive and I'm only making the company rich.
For context, I am 25, I have a stable job, have an HMO with 250k coverage, have a group insurance with my company, have a st peter life plan so I dont really need a traditional life insurance. I figured I still need a criticall illness insurance because if incase that it happened, as someone without generational wealth, my family will be doomed.
Aside from making investments and getting shares from my company, I want to get a little bit of help from getting criticall illness insurance or a medical insurance whatever they call it. Is there a plan that costs less than 1k or even less than 500 monthly? I want it cheap as much as possible since I'm getting it to be a little help only if something happened to me.

Hi all, looking to replace my current PC that's served me well for over 10 years. Unfortunately it's on its last legs now and I can't game on it at all. I'd like to replace it with something that can handle high fps 1440p gaming. I also need to get a monitor to go with it and would like one that can make 1440p gaming shine.

New build
I have a few leftover Noctua & Corsair 120mm fans that I never used in my previous build if they're any use in the new build. I'd also like to keep using one of my HDDs that I use for all my media storage. I'll also use my old 1080p monitor as a 2nd monitor
Primarily gaming. Mostly single player games such as Elden Ring, BG3 & Cyberpunk but also boomer shooters like Serious Sam and Doom Eternal.
UK. No Micro Center so likely have to use Amazon, Overclockers UK, Scan etc.
1 monitor needed. 27 inch, high refresh rate and a decent picture. Don't know whether to go OLED, or if I can even get a good OLED monitor in my budget

Would prefer WiFi but can do wired connection if needed
Prefer a quieter build and ideally no bigger than a mid-tower
Not a fan of lighting and have a preference for black, but more concerned with performance so don't mind random colours / lighting
I'd prefer an Nvdia card as I play single player games much more than multiplayer and I'd like to see what ray tracing and DLSS is all about.
I'd also like to have 2 m.2 drives if possible (1tb for a boot drive and a higher storage drive for everything else), but if it's not possible I can just get a 2nd drive in the future.

History:
Age: 31
Sex: Male
Prior history: Hematuria earlier this year, diagnosis was E. Coli. Was prescribed 2 different medications (I believe macrobid was the one that finally fixed it)
Other history: Addison's Disease Primary.
Medications: Hydrocortisone and Fludrocortisone
NKDA
Upcoming CT for Abdomen/Pelvis (I believe), as well as a cystoscopy, both in early January.
Complaint:
I have been having dull aching specifically on the left side of my scrotum, with extra sensitivity to my left testicle. It seems like my scrotum hangs lower than normal, and today even when fully flaccid, my penis feels as though it is very slightly more stuff than it normally is when flaccid, but not so extreme that I would suspect a priapism. I *may* see slightly enlarged / engorged vasculature on the left lateral / posterior side of my scrotum. It seems to feel more noticeable when walking/laying down, and less noticeable when sitting. It isn't a sharp pain, but more of a dull ache.
No pain with urination, no discoloration of my genitals, no lumps that I can feel, no hematuria, no frequent urination.
Is this something that I can likely safely wait to have investigated by my Urologist in early January? Or am I at a significant risk of something that I should be seen much more quickly?
