2024.11.25 20:20 cncm88 Help - toddler with asthma, Symbicort vs Flovent?
After 2 ER visits for shortness of breath triggered by a cold, my 3.5yo daughter got officially diagnosed with asthma. We were prescribed Flovent initially but due to pharmacy stock issues got switched to Symbicort (Budesonide) for her daily control medication. I’m wondering if one is better than the other in terms of effectiveness as well as potential side effects? Her pediatrician seems ambivalent between the two. Do these medications make you jittery/hyper? I noticed this when she was in the hospital but she was on a whole host of medication (albuterol, prednisone, Flovent, etc)
Also anyone have tips for asthma at this young age? Neither my husband nor I have any family history of asthma so we’re a bit lost.

I've seen this sentiment echoed multiple times recently, and it's weird how so many people think it's fine to retcon the established lore if it means making Arcane canon. Arcane in the first season made some great changes. The retcons were more about recontextualizing and expanding on the current lore rather than completely changing it. But what season 2 did is only making it harder for the lore to connect with Arcane for all the changes that it made. Why is Riot even adapting the lore only for them to to change it?
