Im trying to apply to MLK Community health care hospital as a new Surgical Tech but its asking for a fair credit report "This report will be used in whole or in part to determine your qualifications and suitability for employment and, to the extent permitted by law, it may include information about your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, mode of living, and credit history. The report could also include motor vehicle or driving record, civil records, prior employment, education and other public record information as permitted by law." seems sus but also im a BROKE college student who went into debt and is in collections because of college so how is that fair for us who are trying to get a better credit by getting a job to pay for what we owe so its just so counterintuitive it just makes no sense???????? does anyone else at MLK have to do this ? did they get hired even with a bad credit ? idk i think its so obsured having to go through this.
PS. Does anyone in the Los Angeles, CA area know a place where they are hiring techs, I'm a new grad who is having such a hard time finding a job because they want a paid experience but i only have clinical experience please someone let me know !

2024.11.25 20:40 blakeret4233 Nest Wi-fi customer service completely unhelpful and just ends call when I asked a simple question about opening up my NAT on my xbox.
NAT on xbox was strict, try to change it in app settings. It's greyed out. Do the chat support and they double and trippled down is my ISP's fault. I dont use ISP router or modem. I use Arris modem and Nest routemesh. They closed chat.
I opt in for the call option for customer service. "You will have to um call ISP of the Xbox's router to change nat type for the modem" Ok. I get it. Outsourced customer service, not their fault. So I then ask if there is anyway I can get the app in maybe a developer mode to open up the settings for me. She says Nest is not able to be customized and functions as it is. Whatever that means. I then ask then how do i change my xbox from Strict, to Open. I've had this issue a few times with other routers (specifically Linksys and Netgear) and I've been able to go into the settings and change their nat type and port forward. Lady hangs up.
Can anyone help me with this? i feel like i just spent $400 on worthless routemesh setup.
