Hei there!
I know, I'm not proud of it. But plant murder is a skill that I seem to have perfected over the years. Now, one might be forgiven for thinking that I do this with high maintenance plants. But no, it happens with the hardier ones too. There were times when I told myself that it's not always my fault. Over-watering a hibiscus plant could happen to the best of us. Or that plant-food should come with instructions like cigarette packets. Maybe they do, I don't know. At this point of time, I'm just trying to be philosophical about it.
Anyway, plant stories aren't the only things you may hear me complain about. I am Indian by ethnicity and I live in Norway. I can whine on about the weather, the lack of fresh coconuts over here in Norway, or whether electrics vehicles should continue to be allowed to use the bus lane.
You can write to me if you want to discuss sports, politics, travel, movies, books, and oxford commas. Or if you want to tell me about your pets or something that grows in your garden. You probably shouldn't write to me if you are looking to exchange viewpoints on death metal, rock-and-roll and baking. I'm in awe of people who are into it but I am simply incapable of understanding them as well as I would like to.

I will use it for Gaming and Cutting (Currently mainly 60 FPS 4K Footage). For Gaming i play many different Games but for example BO6 and ARK should be the ones which are the toughest. I would be very thankful for some advice in any direction. Sure, less money is great but also more bang for buck is also great.
Maybe one thing more, i like RGB and Displays and Stuff, pls dont hate on me... Maybe you can advice some fans and aio which i can control in the same RGB software if you know what i mean.

I went to my mom and started crying. Been going through a very rough time and I’m extremely depressed. Completely void of emotion towards most things and it’s really worrying me. Taking action on it and telling my parents. My mom gets worried and talks to me. My dad then walks in and sees somethings going on so I told him I’m miserable and I’m having a very hard time and scared I might get to a worse place where something might happen. He sits down and listens to those few sentences and then gets up and says “ok I think im going to go to bed” This is a major reason why I feel so alone right now and it hurt me quite a bit. I start telling him how fucked up it is that your grown man of a son is finally being vulnerable about his feelings and his reaction is to just get up and leave without even saying anything.. he’s always been like this. Never been there for me at all but always right in front of me. Chose not to take interest. Now it’s really coming out strong and becoming so obvious it’s blinding. He then starts saying how I’m not seeing it from his point of view. Basically being defensive. I told him I don’t care what he meant inside his head, he got up and left when I said I didn’t want to live anymore. Not a prep from him. He’s saying of course he cares about me and he thought that by me being alone with my mom I’d be more open to talk with her. That’s bullshit. He’s always ignored everything and let my mom do everything. Now he kind of is apologizing and telling me he’s sorry and wants me to open up to him and talk with me about what’s going on.
I’m supposed to go see them tomorrow. I’m finding it very difficult even comprehending the whole situation. On one hand I want to forget about, on another, I can’t believe someone could do that when their son says that, and then make a million excuses as to why. Basically blaming me misreading the situation as the problem. I had to sit and listen to him say “well I listened to you now you listen to me” when I just told him I’m a shell of a person most days and don’t want to be alive and it’s scaring me. I couldn’t even convince him to see how that was wrong. It’s just a misunderstanding to him.. I need help figuring this out in my head please. AITA for wanting to tell him "no, were not going to have this sort of relationship because of you"

Also, since this specifically calls out "federal indictment", he should still be open to state prosecution right?

2024.11.25 21:35 stratzilla I'm very impressed with how good remote play has become
When Resident Evil 7 came out, I bought a Steam Link with the plans to stream it to a TV and despite the PC being 10ft from router, and then the router 6ft wired to the Steam Link, it was a nonstarter and I shelved the Steam Link. It could not maintain any smoothness at all, and it was a crashfest.
I revisited remote play with the Deck and I was surprised how consistent it could be. Pulling out my Steam Link again, I set it up in the living room and honestly? Not as good as a couple feet from my PC monitor, but 12ft back on a couch looks great besides some loss of dynamic range. And this is with a good 40ft, a floor, and a concrete wall between Link and router.
I beat a few games this year this way and I had a great time. No noise from fans, no worry about thermals, I can even use a lower resolution because I'm not so close to the display that it would matter = better performance. Besides sometimes a connection being lost and needing to manually reconnect to the session, I've had zero issues.
What do you think of streaming your games?

Imma get hospitalized for talking about my sillycidal thoughts, especially my plans to jump off a building, after saying my good byes to my family and the one friend I have left and how I might do it soon. There's literally so few things keeping me from the edge of a cliff, but my friend convinced me to go to a therapist. I don't really want to talk about why I'm thinking about suicide because there's literally so many reasons I don't know where to start. I'm scared, but also I'm hoping that I get some actual help for once. All the therapists I've had before hadn't helped and I've not been given any psychotic medication ever despite having had these thoughts for years. The therapist said they might prescribe me something, I'm hoping I get anything that can help. Anyways, I'm in the back of a police car, they're taking me to a hospital now, it's loud, they could've handcuffed me but they chose not to because I'm not trying to be violent, but police scared me. When I get there I won't have my phone for a while. :3 yippee
