I’m 25f in Brooklyn NYC.
I graduated from college in May 2021 in speech therapy (before anyone say you have to get masters in speech therapy in order to practice )
After graduating from college I feel I have been out of luck trynna find employment I worked at retail Macys , warehouses, case management, teacher assistant twice and those jobs either were seasonal, I got fired, or I quit.
In the span of 2-3 years I’ve been dealing with anxiety/depression issues . (Social anxiety)
My therapist and some people around me suggest I get into things I’m interested in which is art and creative endeavors. But idk what that would be . People suggest design, ui/ux design, digital art( but idk what that is and dint know about the stability of these paths )
I’m currently unemployed right now . Trynna find a job any suggestions . I’ve considering getting into a trade for now like security guard, CNA, or other trades .
I feel k need to find some employment quick cause my dad and grandfather help with finances. And I feel my dad is sick of me cause I can’t hold down a job and might not help me anymore (which is messed up as he’s my father 🤷🏽♀️)
Plus my mom is on unemployment and does tarot online on YouTube and not mentally there

I strongly condemn the use of excessive force by Pakistan Rangers against peaceful PTI protestors. The right to assemble and express opinions is fundamental, and violence should never be the answer. What do you expect anyone to bring alongside them after this ?. Not mere Water obviously.
To resolve this situation, I urge every Pakistani to make sure a Twitter trend is established so that the international community should intervene immediately and impose economic sanctions on Pakistan until the government respects the rights of its citizens and releases Imran Khan unconditionally. Furthermore, those responsible for the violence should be held accountable and brought to justice.
I also call upon the people of Pakistan to rise up and demand justice. Let there be strikes in every city - Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, and all others. Let the voices of the people be heard loud and clear. It's time for Pakistanis to unite and fight for their democratic rights!.
May Allah make it easy upon the families of martyrs!.

Low Roar was an indie artist featured heavily on the Death Stranding soundtrack (which is how I discovered them). They have an ethereal sound with a lot of slower, higher male vocals.
Unfortunately the band's founder and lead vocalist passed away a couple of years ago. :( But if you like The Line, I recommend checking them out; I was immediately reminded of them in the best way when hearing it!

What's up with all these malay/indian keyboard warriors hiding behind the word "majority" when referencing the local Chinese negatively and why always claiming that the "local Chinese say there is NO racism / privilege in Singapore"? Has anyone actually seen such a comment on local media / public? They know very well any Chinese that said anything like that is at the very worst implying how we have the most nerfed racism in probably the entire asia / asean region. Also, that Chinese privilege cannot be avoided as long as there is a majority. When you walk down a hawker centre, 8/10 of the stalls are Chinese cuisine. By all accounts, that already qualifies as 'privilege' because it translates to more convenience. And this is how it is in most if not all countries where there isn't a 50/50/50 fantasy equal split. To all minorities - if you guys think you have a "crazy point" saying that the local Chinese apparently don't think privilege exists, and think you are smug waiting for the "gotcha we are right all this while" moment, you're not. There isn't many "Singaporean Chinese writing essays after vacationing in the west and experiencing racism" either. The few that do exist, are also probably blown up by minorities who are itching to comment online to compare it to what they face back home any opportunity they can get.
We know we have majority privilege, and there's nothing you or I can do about it. This is an east asian society and will benefit us more than you. Go back to whining about the nitpicks about dating/renting/tuition hiring preferences that are largely personal and although could be attributed to discrimination, is not usually the cause either. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - no? Cry.

There's a boy thar I've been chatting withh for like 3/4 months, hes 2yrs younger than mee and it was pretty chill after few weeks of talking he was telling me im best thats ever happened to him and that noone treated him like that but aldo he's the most emotionally unstable boy ive met on god it was kinda tiring listening to thar every day and night. He was begging me for a chance but i told him from the start I dont want anything. I felt bad so I didnt block him thinking it wont last lomg well it went for far longer than I'd likee and i really prayed he'd leave me alone but he didnt. so i entertained it for a bit, probably wrong move on my side. Well last night i got tired, blocked him on Instagram and told him its just discord for now. he texted me hes gonna end himself because he cant live without me, he did that few times in the past. i saw it in the morning and got anxious... Well he did nothing obviously and texted me back right away, i was so mad. After talking today he told me he thinks its pointless to keep it up and blocked me everywhere. Good for me, really. Thats what I wanted but I still feel bad for some reason. I wanted to say more, that I hope he has good life and that I never wanted anything bad. But he didnt let me say that. I frel now more anxious because I have words that I'll never get to say

i’m sorry this isn’t really service dog related, but i’ve been needing a mobility aid for a while, and finally was able to get one today (cane). today i was seen with it by a colleague, and he asked what happened. i got nervous and replied with “i’m in pain”, which isn’t what i wanted to say, but i didn’t know what to say, and he caught me at worse time :( if someone asks, what would you say?
