Sorry if my formatting is weird. I don’t post or even comment on Reddit. I just stalk. I work in private security, and although I’ve been here for a month, it seems like my job is doing some real shady stuff. The company is based in California, but the branch I work for is in Kentucky, and management often cites “California” for the reason why things are the way they are, which started my suspicion, I’m across the damn country. Our shifts are staggered by 30 mins because our 30-min break is unpaid, so the 1st is 8:00-4:30 and the 2nd is 4:00-12:30. It seems like regardless of if we take a lunch or not, we aren’t paid for that 30 mins, which has caused lots of issues because at my post we don’t do breaks and often don’t have time to some days. We used to just leave early because our relief was already there,but management has gotten onto people about that as it’s “Time Fraud” even though what they are doing seems like the real Time Fraud. Im just unsure as their reasoning being “California makes the rules” is just shady asf. Feel free to ask me any questions if you want more info.

Hi all! Fellow actress here and I posted last time about going for my Masters in Acting..
Surprisingly, the comment section was full of maybe 3 respondents and they were very discouraging comments on pursuing my MFA..
So let me try again.. because I think maybe I need a sound board of encouragement..
I have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to attend a school of my choosing...
I am in the process of finishing applications but I've been having self doubt to pursue this degree due to the current state of the economy and artificial intelligence on the rise in the industry. I am worried about investing my time in a field that isn't a stable lucrative for me when I can attempt at getting a masters degree in a different field that will be.
I know those most of you reading this may be questioning my intentions .."well are you doing in hopes to make money...?? "
The answer is no. I am not. However, I am not a nepo baby and I still have to work the daily grind in order to make sure my cost of living is okay.. I am passionate about pursing acting on a mastery level.
I feel like me pursuing my masters in the field would be a cheaper investment then to apply for studio classes, in the long run because I know this is what I want to do. I'm just not sure what would come after...
You see my family pushed me to go into the medical field because to them .. there's always going to be a job there.. so I ended up pursuing a BS in Exercise Science... believing I would be making bank and/or pursuing my degree in Physical Therapy. Overtime, I just don't feel as interested in the health field as I convinced myself to be... I think.
I just don't want to regret not going for it but also I don't want to ask myself what if later in life...
Any advice?

 | Doing some work in my kitchen and this caught my eye. Below the window there is a decent sized cavity filled with polystyrene with 100mm block and brick either side. But up the sides of the window it switches to 150mm block. The cavity is then only 20mm with very little or no insulation (I can just see through the gap next to the window). If you follow this wall to the left it goes into the middle of a the double garage (second picture) which holds up the RSJ between the garage for the floor above. Is this standard sort of construction for around a window to close cavity maybe? Other window in kitchen is also like this. Is there a way to mute users with specific words in their usernames or bios?
I've muted every word or phrase I imagine could be even tangentially related, but every like 6th post is still gay porn in one way or another. Not trying to yuk other people's yum, it just doesn't interest me and I'd rather not see it. I've hidden every post I've come across and blocked more accounts than I can count, but the algorithm just doesn't seem to get it yet. I've also noticed that most of them have some identifier in their username that would make it easy to filter out, so I feel like it would be a great help f I could do that.
