My current biggest annoyance with customers (or Shipt or InstaCart shoppers) is when they shove their phone in my face to ask me if we have something in stock or if we carry it. Half the time they show me their phone and don’t say anything. Like I am supposed to psychically know what they want. Or they want to know where location xyz is in the store. I’m glad I can pull the “I work for the inventory crew, not the store,” card even when I help stock. Locations are different at different stores. This is the only time of year I’m at the same store.
When they complain that the system shows us having something in stock that’s not on the floor I seriously want to take them in back and show them the state of affairs of the backroom. Yeah, I’ll totally go dig through pallets and totes to find it for you. I might do that just to kill a few minutes and tell them I can’t find it.

My white GF and I live together for 15 months. Our neighbor, who’s a white Puerto Rican guy our age, moved in around that time. We all get along and are friends, and I bring him food all the time.
My GF and I are also friends with his on-again-off-again GF whom he’s still seeing since they’re trying to make things work. She visits him about every week.
Our Puerto Rican neighbor is a lady’s man who’s also seeing other ladies. He’s short, athletic, has an MD but doesn’t practice, and is nice. So he’s an eligible bachelor that has no problems finding a date.
We three - Puerto Rican neighbor, my white GF, and I - all text each other together as a group. He typically texts us “I’ll be outside to smoke (a joint).” I don’t consume any cannabis. But those two do a lot. They smoke everyday often times together without me there while they’re outside.
The other day, we had a lot of leftover foods that we have to give away since we will be away for Thanksgiving. My GF texted him on the group chat asking him if he wanted some food that we got. Anyways, I my GF said she’d be down smoking with the neighbor.
When I went down there, I was sort of surprised that they were smoking inside his apartment on his couch. This isn’t that weird because it is definitely getting colder. So they should be inside. But they’re sitting on the same couch and smoking from the same joint.
I don’t smoke, so I feel like fifth wheel. And to tell you the truth, my downstairs “friend” doesn’t really want me there with them. He’d rather talk to my GF about his dating life and hang out with her. I have no clue what else they talk about, but I know his on-again-off-again is always mentioned. This neighbor is getting a bit too friendly with my GF over their mutual appreciation for cannabis.
When I joined them, I awkwardly sat between them not smoking any joints as they were passing it by me.
Also, when I was talking to him, he lectured me about something that I had joked about with his on-again-off-again GF last week. I made a very innocent joke saying that “he’s an awesome man and we love him even though he’s got a temper!” He admitted that “ThrowAway157079633, I know that came from a place of love, but she asked me about it.”
So this is the guy that I’m always sharing foods with, I’m always helping out, and I’m always trying to reconcile him and his OAOA GF back, and basically I’m very nice to him. But he’s lecturing me there and showing excitement with my GF.
I feel that he maybe sneaking up on my GF, even though he’s seeing some other women, including his OAOA GF. He looks at her in her eyes deeply and shares with her all kinds of details that he doesn’t with me. Moreover, his OAOA GF never goes into those details with me. I treat her like a sister, and our communication is also through group chats. As someone who doesn’t smoke cannabis, I don’t know if the act of sharing a joint is innocent.
TLDR; I feel weirded out that my GF and my buddy were sharing a joint on his couch the other day and his increasing closeness to her.

hello everyone! I am a 19 yr old college student who was asked by a relative to invest into this 'intel' investment scheme. I was rlly skeptical at first but when she showed me the withdrawals she had, I also asked her to let me loan from me and that i would just give her money back once I got my 'income'. here comes yesterday, november 25th, 2024, when I got my 1st and 2nd day income (context: I started saturday, there's a 24 hours countdown, 1st income on sunday, 2nd is on monday) I immediately tried to withdraw my 'income' the same hour my 2nd income was given, and I was told to wait for about 2-48 hours before It would reflect in my gcash account. I waited for hours and hours, until today, 7:11 am as I am writing this, I still don't have my 'income' in my gcash account and I genuinely think that we've been scammed already 😞 How can I explain this to my relative who has already invested 22,000php and only got about 2,000php (she's also a new user) and has already invited about 8 people to invest in it yesterday, which means those people also ddn't get to have their withdrawal up to this time. i just want to vent out because the money that we're talking about is so big that I don't know where I can get it to pay her back.

2024.11.25 23:21 She-Individual-24 The cast is *mostly* nuts...but I'm just blown away at how supportive/lovely some of their relatives are.
There are so many stand-out loved ones in the most recent seasons of 90 day, I need to give them a shoutout.
- Josh's brother (of Josh & Lily, B4 the 90Ds) is SO empathetic and kind. The way he offers rational advice, tries to put a smile on everyone's faces, and find the silver lining is admirable while his brother & SIL create drama out of nothing.
- Adnan's family (of Adnan & Tigerlily) immediately accepted Tigerlily with open arms on their wedding day. Adnan's mom was honest about her initial skepticism, but said she accepts Tigerlily because of her good heart. The cousins, aunts, and uncles all embraced Tigerlily both literally, and actually engaged her and asked her about herself.
- Faith's loved ones (of Faith & Loren, B4 the 90Ds). Faith herself is a rare gem, and her loved ones are no less. She has built such a village of support for herself, made up of both biological family and chosen family. I love this for her!!! If she leaves Loren, she will be okay because of her community.
- Bozo's friends (of Bozo and Vanja, B4 the 90Ds). I find it to be unfortunately rare when men call each other out on their bad behavior. Bozo's friends tried to hold him accountable for leading Vanja on, and treating her unfairly. They clocked it almost immediately. When one of them said "she is amazing, what are you doing?" made me melt!!! Need all the best for Vanja. Ugh.
- Sarper's cousin (of Sarper and Shekinah). Füsun is just lovely. She cares deeply for Sarper and is a sister to him. She understands him and does call him out. She's made Shekinah feel at home meanwhile she's lost contact with all her sisters. (not saying Shekinah was right or wrong for this..Im just talking about how much I love Füsun.)
- Ingi's parents (of Ingi and Corona, the other way). I can absolutely understand Corona's hesitation to meeting his parents who, considering their social context, could have reacted negatively to her being black. They ended up being the exact opposite. Yes, it is bare minimum to not be racist, lol, but they were so warm and kind. Very unexpected after meeting the boring and bland Ingi.

The title It's pretty much self-explanatory. I had a bear takedown recurve that was a newer model that has been nothing but problems and I am returning it for a full refund. That being said, I am now in the market for a takedown recurve/long bow. I have been looking at Black widow and stalker stick bows. I want something that is in the 65 to 70 lb category and I was wondering what your all's experiences were with both if you have any. The ideal goal of something all around hunting small, medium and large game, and just general target practice on weekends/3d shoots. I also like the idea of something that is d97 or fast flight string compatible. I'm also open to suggestions for other brands to look at.

I'm allergic to tree nuts so - as a lot of you may know - baked goods are generally unsafe. 8 years ago my allergies weren't as bad yet and back then I used to treat myself to a cheap pack of donuts at least once a month. but then the allergies got worse and worse until I had to avoid all traces of nuts and carry 2 epipens. Have had to give up a lot of my favorite foods
last Saturday I went out for lunch with family and the restaurant brought me my own safe plate of foods. It was AMAZING. Mini donut, pain au chocolat, some other pastries I didn't even recognise? I asked the staff 3 times if they were SURE it was safe because I cannot get these things at grocery stores or bakeries. But it was safe!!!! and even though it wasn't much I was SOOOOO happy. The stars alligned, the universe granted me another taste of donut :)
I know we discuss a lot of the hardships of food allergies on this sub, I'm glad this place exists for that as I've also posted and replied to others a few times. But I hope we can celebrate this nice moment too :) I hope all of you can eat something safe that you've missed out on soon!!
