You guys deserve an applause for the 60E off ramp lanes on the 10E, NO LONGER HAVING MERGING from Broadway! There’s no one merging. They just stay on their own ramp and get on the 60/10 further down. It used to cause such a headache of people getting on and immediately needing to cross over 3 lanes, causing traffic and mayhem.
Also, not so recent but also very much worth noting, there is no longer a random, useless merging of lanes on the 101S between Broadway and Southern/Baseline exits. You can just roll right on through!
That’s all. Just thank you. My jaw hit the floor when I first experienced the new, amazing, wonderful, no-merge-headache, 60E lanes on the 10E.

This past month I’ve been having random bouts of nausea. I’ve only thrown up twice, but last night I noticed bits of green beans from like 10 hours prior. I thought maybe the nausea was just from constipation, but I’ve been taking mirilax, and most of the nausea cleared up until last night. Could this be a sign of gastroparesis, or something a little less scary? Should I make a doctors appointment now, or wait and see if the mirilax keeps helping?
Idk if it matters, but I’m 23F, 5’3 130lbs & have no health conditions that I know of

Esta historia trata de mi bisabuelo, un hombre sencillo que vivía en el interior del Nordeste y que tenía un ritual muy peculiar.
Durante sus fiestas de cumpleaños, especialmente cuando la fecha coincidía con noches de luna llena, hacía algo que todos en la familia consideraban extraño. Mi bisabuelo tomaba un recipiente con agua, lo llenaba con cuidado y lo colocaba a la luz de la luna. El ritual era siempre silencioso, casi solemne, como si estuviera en un momento de profunda introspección. Observó su propio reflejo en el agua y, al cabo de unos instantes, pronunció la misma frase: "El día que ya no me vea aquí, es porque el próximo
Esto sucedió durante muchos años, y cada vez que repetía el ritual, los familiares que lo rodeaban permanecían en silencio, sin hacer preguntas. Era como si todos sintieran que tenía algún significado misterioso, pero nadie se atrevía a hablar de ello. Para mi bisabuelo ese momento parecía sagrado, algo que iba más allá de la simple superstición. Era como si tuviera una conexión directa con la luna y lo que ésta podía revelar.
Hasta que un día sucedió algo diferente. Durante su cumpleaños realizó el mismo ritual, pero esta vez, al mirar al agua, mi bisabuelo no pudo ver su propio reflejo. Se quedó unos minutos contemplando la palangana vacía, sin decir nada. Luego se volvió hacia mi bisabuelo y, con inquietante tranquilidad, le dijo: "Prepárate, porque me voy a ir". Nadie entendió muy bien a qué se refería en ese momento, pero cinco días después falleció mientras dormía, sereno, como si ya supiera que había llegado su momento.
Esta historia siempre circula en mi familia como un misterio que nunca ha sido completamente explicado. Incluso yo, que nunca fui de los que creen en presagios o cosas así, no puedo evitar que se me ponga la piel de gallina cuando escucho a alguien hablar de ello. Mi familia jura que es verdad y siempre me pregunto: ¿fue solo un incidente o hubo algo más profundo involucrado?

I had a pap in april 2023 and tested negative. I wasn't even meant to have my next pap until 2026 but because my insurance changed and I'm 33 they assumed I was due for one. I forgot when my last pap was and tested positive, and now I'm stuck with this cloud of worry.
I know it's probably better that I'm aware it's allowed me to make changes to improve my health. But also, there's a reason they don't test everyone for hpv multiple times a year! I could have kept on with my life and maybe it would have progressed, but it also could have cleared and I would have never known. I was getting sick a lot in 2023 and still get sick very easily, I feel like it's gonna be a long time for me to clear.
There was someone I hadn't seen in a few months and was going to start hooking up with again, but after disclosing he said he'd rather wait until I'm negative. He was nice enough about it but it's bumming me out. If i didnt know it would have been a lot of fun. I'm only 2 months into knowing, and won't be tested for another 10 months. There are festivals next summer I want to go to but I won't be able to have the same carefree experiences that I did before. It's just hard
