Long story short..... Bought 10.5in upper before ban planning to make a pistol that ultimately never happened.
I bought a stripped lower and a bullet button recently and obviously know about the ban now.... (1) was wondering how the nondetachable magazines options work with SBR? Are they still illegal on their own? Or do I own a nice paper weight now? Don't live in Wilmington
(2) when they talk about grandfathering in.... they are referring to the lowers correct? Won't matter that I have a receipt for pre ban for the upper?
Also.... I have had an AR for 15+years or so, but no longer have the receipts. What I do have receipts for is things I've gotten more recently over the years (trigger, rails, optics, ammo, etc). Does that provide evidence if ever needed?

2024.11.25 22:02 euic5825 Building a New PC. Need Some Feed Back!

Hey y'all I'm an avid gamer who really doesn't know too much about building and recently have just looked into building a pc. My old pc is quite outdated (1660ti) and can't run newer games very well so I was hoping to make a pc that will last me a long time. I've made a pc part picker list and was hoping to get some feedback! I also had some questions as well.

  1. I think the motherboard can be changed to something cheaper like a Gigabyte B650 Eagle or a B650M Gaming Plus Wifi. I guess the only difference would be the ports and the BIOS? (I have no fucking clue I'm talking about). Those two other motherboards were cheaper than the tomahawk but I wasn't too sure as there were some bad reviews on the gigabyte motherboards (But which parts don't have bad reviews).
  2. The Case was on sale and I really liked the esthetic of it plus reviews on airflow! If you do have any input on it please lmk
  3. CPU Cooler was chosen since the 7800x3d is not suppose to heat too much and it should perform well with the Thermalright phantom spirit. Although I believe some say the 7800x3d should be used with a liquid cooler. (Mixed responses on the liquid cooler though)
  4. The memory had a 6400 MHz corsair vengeance at the same price as the 6000 MHz one so I just got the 6400, even though there shouldn't be a big difference in performance. (Bigger numbers better!)
  5. For storage I just got the Samsung EVO Pro that was on sale.
  6. Didn't want to cheap out on the PSU so got a SeaSonic 850 W.
