I'm very new to HASS, currently using VM on a Windows miniserver.. I've accumulated a SmartThings hub (currently only a few Samsung smart plugs), Hue hub (just a couple of downlights, which I might retire), Aqara blind controller (no hub for this, and can't get it to work with the SmartThings hub), and some Ikea leak sensors (no Ikea hub). Is it possible to consolidate them all into a single USB Zigbee controller, such as a Sonoff or Skyconnect dongle?

2024.11.25 21:50 dspyz Anyone else as frustrated as I am that you can't request resources from a particular platform?
My primary use-case is I want to build space platform foundation on Vulcanus, ship it to Nauvis, and then use it to build out a new space platform. But if I set a foundation request on Nauvis, it will take back-up foundation from _any other platform orbiting Nauvis_, not just the one responsible for shipping it back and forth from Vulcanus. Another possibility is setting the upper bound to 0 to trash the space platforms to Nauvis, but I can't do that either because then how am I supposed to request it when the ship reaches Vulcanus.
I feel like there have been a number of other instances where I've wanted to set requests from particular platforms. Platforms can set requests from particular planets, why can't planets set requests from particular platforms? It seems weirdly asymmetric.

I'm DMing a campaign of dragon heist and the party has been wandering around town in the period before the fireball event. During their wanderings they went back into the yawning portal, found and befriended Meloon and he convinced them to go bash some Zhentarim skulls.
Question I have is how others have DMd the interaction with Meloon. How have you incorporated his parasite into an interesting plot hook? I see potential for some interesting scenarios here, but not even sure really how the party would become aware that there's something seriously wrong with him and that they are being manipulated.

Greenville, SC Costco. Monday at 0945 of Thanksgiving week. At least 100 cars lining up along the exit off of the highway exit. At least as many making the turn into Costco. Hunting like a vicious leopard for a parking space. Waiting in line to get in. Waiting in a huge line to get checked out. Got everything I needed (except those f'ing addictive pretzel chips that account for my pre-holiday 3 lb weight gain). Made it out of the parking lot. Nary a cross word from my mouth the whole time. I am a survivor! Happy Thanksgiving, all.

 | I bought a TSR2 21 degree (hasn't arrived yet so I can't compare them visually) and am currently using a TSi2 16.5 and went down a little bit of a rabbit hole with the Titleist Fairway Wood Head Volumes. Does anyone know for sure the CC of the TSR Fairway Wood Line, (Specifically the 21 degree head) or can speak from experience of comparing these heads visually? I find it a little weird that Titleist doesn't share the specs on anything but the biggest head, the best source I could find on the TSR on the TGW page for the TSR2: https://preview.redd.it/pnx42xo9e33e1.png?width=1893&format=png&auto=webp&s=3ddd72fb7920061d123d7a273dac26f94fbd80cc If this is correct, the head volumes of the TSR Fairway line are dramatically different than the other lines around it. This isn't an aita because I simply don't care if I was nobody was doing anything to solve the problem
So years ago when I 28 I lived in an apartment with 7 other people and someone of the 7 was a notorious food thief I have to clarify that the landlord was super paranoid and the entire building minus the bathroom and bedrooms had cameras in the hallways kitchen and front and back porch and lots of us knowing this reported the missing food problem to him and he said at one point "I can't tell you who it is because I don't want to cause drama in the house or get the police involved after seeing what else has been stolen I told them to return what they can but if they don't you're adults figure it out " so I decided to be an adult and figure it out around that time I was having constipation issues and my doctor prescribed me some strong laxatives and what's more I was supposed to dissolve them in a liquid first ... Now what I need to mention is this food theif was obsessed with two things I would buy my deli meat and my milk. So I bought a decoy milk and put "do not touch " on a sticker knowing full well what I was about to do .... Hey they were warned ... So I added a small amount of the laxatives to the galon of milk .... The food thief was caught brown handed within days and when my landlord tried to call me out for it I showed them my prescription and my doctor's instructions and the do not touch sticky note on the milk and replied "I have to take these in a liquid I did put a warning on it it's not my fault the food thief ignored it"

So i have noticed now after the ios18 uppdate my ipad pro can drain itself in standbuy mode. I mostly just charge it to a limit of 80% but i t dropped from 71 to 0 now over nigt. With it not being used. What is wrong with it. Anybody else have tis issiues?
