Posting this just because I wanted to know this while I was preparing for the test. I had few days to study for IELTS and I was worried because I was getting 6.5-7.5 in reading, in those mock tests you get access to when you book from British Council. However, I was surprised that real exam was not nearly as hard as the mock tests, and my bands reflected that. Same thing applies for Listening, and also for Writing tests rated by ChatGPT.
I'm not saying you should not study (watch IELTS Advantage as everyone here suggests, it's really good). But if you're nervous because your bands are not that good in the mock tests, I hope you feel a bit more relaxed reading this. I stressed too much in the real test day and maybe I could have performed even better if I was more relaxed.

Hey there, this is kind of a weird ask, but I know that their has to be some other Red Letter Media fans here on this page, so I have an ask/proposition to anybody more skilled and with a little more time than I.
I am a very avid viewer of all RedLetterMedia content, and as a physical media collector, I am also trying to get all movies that have been featured on their webseries "Best of The Worst".
There is well over 120 episodes at this point, and I know I own a good majority of titles, but I am seeing if anyone has, or would be willing/able to, make a spreadsheet of all movies featured in the series, per episode.
I have tried to make my own but it is just too time consuming and I also just suck at creating things in Excel/Google Docs. I would applaud anybody who would be willing to do this work, or share what they have already done.
I was thinking that maybe it could have the titles listed out underneath what episode they were featured in, and maybe have a small box next to it to either say "Yes, Owned" or "No, Not Owned", just to try and help me and others who may be wanting to do the same thing track the collection!
I thank anybody in advance who would be willing to do this, or share what they already have done, but I will be very thrilled if anybody else would like this as well!

2024.11.25 22:22 char1t1e why does breaking up hurt so much even if it may be the right thing to do
i broke up with my boyfriend yesterday after journaling for hours on end on why i think i should break up with him and asked my cousin and her unbiased husband for their perspective on what they think should be done. They said they think he has a lot of work to do until he gets to a point where a very stable relationship can be achieved. I am having doubts this was the correct thing to do and maybe a separation for a while until his anger issues are resolved, him being able to regulate his emotions better, and overall be more of a positive person would be a better thing. I don’t know it’s just hurting me so much and I can’t stop crying. I have never cried so much in my life. I know during the relationship I was also feeling drained and that i can grow more without him. But man i just do not want this to be the end of us.
Long story short I broke up with him because i feel his mental health getting worse and it has shown in our relationship. I have been losing feelings and gaining them back but keep losing because of him mistrusting me, he got close to my face at work and was questioning me and my 35 yr old coworker (i’m 19). No one was able to see it because of a booth covering where we were. And one time he was very frustrated with himself as his mental health has been getting worse and him not having the best coping mechanisms. He said he hated himself and how not in control he is with life, i did not know what to do as around here i had been losing feelings and began feeling drained around him because of his mental health worsening. I had chuckled and said i’m sorry that i don’t know what to say. He had called me a dumb woman for this w hich i’m sure comes from being bullied a lot in middle school and feeling like he can not express his emotions. But it hurts and it worries me for what may happen in the future if he does not improve his anger issues. He did not apologize for it and said it was valid in a way. So a lack of accountability. I am just so torn that like i know this is not a good thing and can only show what the future may lie. Why does it have to be this way? I liked him so much. He really showed he cared for me and was affectionate with me which is something my past relationships lacked in. He really is not that bad guy, his intentions are not to hurt me. He just has some things he needs to work on and it shows. Do you think maybe a long separation would be fine? He really resonated with what i told him when breaking up. As i recited everything that was bothering me from my journal and acknowledging why he is the way he is. He seems so torn up from this and his social life is lacking. I just feel so bad for him snd can’t help but to want and be there for him. I just feel like maybe a longggg seperation will b good? hopefully he tries more and acknowledges this, he seemed like he did in the moment as he told me he thinks all of these reasons are reasonable. Also we took a break maybe a month ago and i think that somewhat helped him see that he needs to change? he told me the day of the break up he had been looking at his life the past few months and said he knows it was no way to live and he told me he’s been keeping his room cleaner and agrees with some of the stuff i suggested to him would be good for him and has been trying it out.
The break up was very mature as well. We held a calm tone during the entire thing and ended it with a long hug. I made sure to tell him positive aspects of himself because I do not want him to hate himself more than he does. My cousin and her husband was scared that if i do it in private he may of tried something but i trusted him enough he would not do that to me as he has no intentions to hurt me. I don’t know man i just want to pointers i guess. i know everything is so recent but jeez i have never felt so hurt before and im the one who broke up with him. We had been together for 10 months by the way.

Looking for 1 to 2 players to join a game. We play Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm every week. We are technically at full capacity as of the time of me making this post. However! A couple players have discussed schedule changes and not being able to make it soon so I'm being preemptive and trying to fill the seats as soon as they leave. So do be a touch patient if you are chosen but there isn't immediately a seat
This game is based in 5e but set in its own world that is an alternate history earth. It's a game about a secret society called "The Lodge" who hunts Cryptids and keeps the public from knowing of their existence. It has a pretty in depth lore and we keep everything organized via a discord. We have vampires, werebeasts, demons, and so much more. Character creation is very flexible and near limitless as long as it can be tweaked to fit the world lore.
We have had this same group of People since early 2020 and are all a pretty close knit group. We are looking for people between 20 and 30 years old because that's what our group is comprised of. Must be lgbt friendly, preferably alternative (but not necessary), and similar to our group. We are laid back, usually bring food, and always have a good time. We play at a local game store in Corona!
We also have 3 other campaign settings that we alternate for each "season" of play whenever one reaches a good natural stopping point.
This group is very beginner friendly and all you need is a desire to play the game. The rest can be picked up as you go along.

25M, no diagnoses or medications.
I train Jiu Jitsu regularly. After Jiu Jitsu class, I go straight to the gym for strength and conditioning which takes roughly an hour, then I go home and eat, then shower. So, it’s roughly a 3 hour gap between the end of Jiu Jitsu class to the time I shower.
I’ve never had staph or ringworm or any skin infection before. However, staph and ringworm is prominent in the Jiu Jitsu community. It doesn’t look like staph to me but it does look like it could be the beginning stages of ring. But I’m not a professional so I’m not really sure.

I am also going to try to CerMark but I wanted to test if this method worked. Here’s what I did - Cleaned surface with acetone - 2 coats of spray paint - Used the laser engraver to burn off the paint on the logo - lightly cleaned the laser part with alcohol - Acid etched the exposed metal with hydrogen peroxide and muriatic acid - Removed the rest of the paint with a solvent
My knife has these thick grains on it which is why you see the fuzzy letterings.
