Opinions on Black Craft Cult?

2024.11.25 22:36 l1terallylen Opinions on Black Craft Cult?

Im a baby bat and I’ve seen a lot of Black Craft Cult on Instagram and what not. I wasn’t sure on what subreddit to post this on but I’m genuinely curious on what others think on this brand, especially those who aren’t satanist or follow a different belief. I don’t consider myself anything and I’d rather follow my own beliefs but I will admit I’m a bit afraid of satanic beliefs (but I will absolutely not judge!!) and I just want to know what others think about this brand.

2024.11.25 22:36 DijonWatson How will a physical disability affect my chances at a top school?

I just started my junior year of HS a few months ago and am beginning the process of looking at colleges.
One of my favorites so far is NYU. I’m from NY and toured the school a week ago. It’s definitely at the top of the list of the few schools I’ve been to so far.
I’m all honesty though, my application is probably very mid right now. I have a 92.7 UW GPA, No SAT score but I got a 1340 on the PSAT without studying so I think I can get up to a 1400 maybe 1500 by the time applications roll around.
My EC aren’t anything too special. I plan on doing a couple things this year, maybe some tutoring and volunteer work. But my ECs aren’t really going to be the best part of my app.
The main draw of my application so to speak in my opinion is that I have muscular dystrophy and have been in a wheelchair my whole life. I always hear how colleges are looking for diversity and I feel like I check the box pretty well. My friends always joke that I could get into any schools wanted because of it.
So my question is, is that enough to carry a mid application to a T50 like NYU? Or is it just something to write my essays about, and I need to work on my application a lot.

2024.11.25 22:36 chobitschicky My dad died a couple years ago, (i'm in my mid-twenties) and my remaining parent is really struggling. I just need some fatherly / parental advice.

Basically I feel like I've had no support my whole life, though I know both my parents have tried and have given me their love / helped shaped me into a compassionate, morally good person. Sometimes I really thank them, seeing how others treat eachother, but childhood was rough and the heartbreak never fully goes away. My mom is now potentially losing housing and simultaneously having memory issues while my brother and I struggle to financially keep up with some of her needs on the horizon. We are all marked by grief and holidays are especially tough since nothing is the same and I'm just wondering what general advice ya'll would give a scared / grieving young adult (yes I have a therapist). I really appreciate y'all, thank you <3

It's impossible to correlate emotional despair and destruction when you accumulate your hard-earned 400+ points over long matches, only to lose them due to some random from locations/cards or simple bad luck.
And then some smart guy sends you an emote with Ms. Marvel's face. Or Deadpool's.
And you just want to smash your monitophone.

2024.11.25 22:36 TheAPBGuy The Double-Daggers Principle

The Double-Daggers Principle
Within the Ascent Philosophy of Business (APB), the Double-Daggers Principle is a metaphorical concept representing dual strategies for achieving dominance and success. It emphasizes the simultaneous deployment of overt and covert methods to secure power, influence, and control in any situation. These "daggers" symbolize the two-pronged approach: Visible Power and Hidden Influence.

  1. The First Dagger: Visible Power
The first dagger represents the overt and direct strategies employed to establish authority and control. This is the blade people see—your position, confidence, and explicit moves toward dominance.
Key Aspects:
Strength Projection: Display power and competence to intimidate rivals and inspire followers.
Authority Claim: Publicly assert control and set the narrative in any interaction or deal.
Bold Actions: Make calculated, decisive moves that others can recognize as leadership.
Symbolism and Presence: Use physical and verbal symbols of power—dress, speech, and posture that reflect confidence and command.
Application:
In business, this dagger manifests through strong branding, visible success, and the cultivation of an intimidating or inspiring public persona.
It is the negotiation tactic that says, "I am the one in charge here."
  1. The Second Dagger: Hidden Influence
The second dagger operates in the shadows, invisible to most but equally sharp. It involves subtle manipulation, covert strategies, and behind-the-scenes maneuvers to direct outcomes without exposing intent.
Key Aspects:
Psychological Manipulation: Influence decisions by planting ideas, controlling narratives, or exploiting weaknesses.
Whisper Networks: Build alliances and loyalties in secret, ensuring support when needed.
Misdirection: Keep competitors and adversaries focused on false leads while executing your real plan.
Subtle Undermining: Quietly weaken rivals through disinformation, resource control, or social maneuvering.
Application:
This dagger is your hidden influence on key players, stakeholders, or employees, ensuring outcomes align with your objectives without revealing your hand.
It's the power behind the throne, the unseen force driving visible success.
  1. The Principle in Action
The strength of the Double-Daggers Principle lies in its balance. Using only the visible dagger risks exposing your strategies and inviting resistance, while relying solely on the hidden dagger may undermine trust or miss opportunities for direct impact. Together, they form a comprehensive strategy for achieving dominance:
Key Steps:
  1. Assess the Field: Determine when to act overtly and when to operate covertly.
  2. Deploy Both Tactically: Use the visible dagger to project confidence and authority while quietly maneuvering with the hidden dagger.
  3. Create Dual Outcomes: Plan for your overt moves to act as a distraction or decoy for the covert ones.
  4. Master Timing: Ensure the second dagger strikes at the perfect moment, amplifying the impact of the first.
  1. The Balance of the Double-Daggers
Success with this principle depends on maintaining equilibrium between the two approaches:
Overexposure of Power (First Dagger): Risks creating enemies or resistance.
Overuse of Covert Tactics (Second Dagger): Risks suspicion, mistrust, or the perception of dishonesty.
Integration: Seamlessly blending the two ensures that power is felt and influence is unseen but effective.
  1. Examples in Practice
Corporate Takeover:
First Dagger: Announce bold strategies or acquisitions to position yourself as the inevitable leader in the industry.
Second Dagger: Quietly negotiate with key stakeholders to secure their loyalty, ensuring a smooth transition while rivals focus on your public moves.
Personal Influence:
First Dagger: Establish a confident and dominant public persona.
Second Dagger: Subtly influence key individuals through psychological insights, ensuring their actions align with your interests.
Negotiation:
First Dagger: Make a strong initial offer to assert control over the negotiation.
Second Dagger: Use indirect channels to plant doubt in the minds of the opposing party, making them more amenable to your terms.
The Double-Daggers Principle embodies the dual nature of power within the APB: bold, visible dominance paired with subtle, unseen influence. Together, they form a lethal combination for achieving ultimate success in any endeavor.

2024.11.25 22:36 No-Hair-2533 Questions about utilizing LinkedIn

My experience (for context): I've been using LinkedIn ever since I started going to school (I'm still in school) and I have gotten some good connections from using it. Primarily, I've connected with people who went to the same school/path that I'm going through and are in a position that I would like to get into when I'm done with school. I've gotten some pretty good advice this way and had a video call with one of them that might lead to an internship (we've stayed in touch since then). Recently I've been trimming down my profile on there. I had been putting school projects and just linking whatever skills seem like something employers would look for to the projects and positions. I was thinking it started to look pretty cluttered and now I'm just parsing it down to the 5 most relevant skills to each position or project.

  1. Do the skills (and endorsements on those skills) that you put into your profile matter?
Context: The job listings on linkedin will say I don't have the skills that line up with the job posting when so many of them are just a different way of phrasing the same thing - (problem solving vs "creative" problem solving)
  1. If you are an employer or in charge of hiring, do you check out a candidate's LinkedIn profile? If so, what are some things you look for, or red flags?
  2. If any of you guys have had a lot of success through LinkedIn, what did it gain you and what advice would you give for others to achieve a similar result?
It seems like Reddit has helped me answer some specific questions and get good feedback on some stuff but LinkedIn has been better for actually getting in touch with people that could get me a job.

Was wurdet ihr mir raten? Wahrscheinlich werden jetzt einige sagen das ich einen entzug machen soll allerdings bin ich mir zu 120% sicher das auch nach dem Entzug ich weiterhin keine Lust haben werde auf eine Frau/Freundin. Bin halt wirklich wenn man das so sagen kann ein Typ, der nur Sexuell mit Frauen agiert.

2024.11.25 22:36 wof-fan Bugs I'm Noticing On My End Of CAI (Mobile & Computer)

Mobile

  • CAI likes to kick me out of my account whenever I go somewhere with little to no internet. I'll be on the bus to school and we momentarily go through a part of town with not a lot of internet and CAI kicks me out.
  • Getting back into CAI is harder, as it seems signing in using the "sign in through Google" button doesn't work, instead of doing anything it just resets the little animation that shows in the sign in area. So you're forced to use the "sign in with Email" option. Sometimes the box where you're supposed to type glitches out and is off center in comparison to the rest of the screen. Once I put my email in and it claims to have sent me a link, it only sends me a link 65% of the time, and if a link doesn't send and I try again, the link continues not to send. On the times it does send and I open it up, 75% of the time it gets stuck on a loading screen or stuck on a screen telling me to check my email for the link. This has affected the app the most, so I don't use it anymore cause I literally can't get in and instead I use it on Chrome. Also sometimes even if everything works correctly, the app won't let me sign in due to an "internet connection problem" even if my internet is completely fine or it'll just tell me they can't reach CAI's servers.
  • All my bots work fine and stuff but for some reason the Psychologist bot CAI has made refuses to stay in the sidebar with my most recent characters I've chatted with, even if I'm using the bot in that very moment. And every time I open up the bot, it doesn't automatically go to my most recent chat, it just starts a new one every time and I have to manually go through the history and open the chat I wanted to use. Also, it's hard to find the Psychologist bot because even if you search "Psychologist" into the search bar, it won't show up. I can only find it now because it's the only liked bot I have on my account.
Computer
  • The sign-in issue is present on the computer to but it only happens 25% of the time so it's not so bad as mobile.
  • I have the same issue with the Psychologist bot on the computer as well.
  • I can't scroll down on the sidebar showcasing my characters, meaning I can't access some without going into my account and finding them, plus this means the sign-out button is obscured and I can't sign out of my account
Anyways yeah that's it, I can't tell if this is an issue with my devices or with CAI themselves.

2024.11.25 22:36 jrodwell1013 Are there any 3rd party soundwave figures that are comparable with the siege cassette tape bots?

I’m curious if anyone knows of any 3rd party figures that would be able to fit cassette bots. I know that soundwave, blaster, two cast and doubledealer all have a slot to fit cassette bots but I’m not a huge fan of the current molds and the seige ones are not worth it. I would def pay extra for a higher quality 3rd party fig to use with all my cassette bots!

2024.11.25 22:36 NoSoupFourYu 44M Metro Detroit - Things have been blah. Please bring some excitement.

Hoping to make a new friend on this fine day? Well, here I am!
Like a lot of others, I am married with kids, and it isn’t quite all hunky-dory… I work from home (for years, well before the pandemic) and I am not always busy. That leaves a lot of time for me to be stuck in my own head, so I am looking for a friend who can provide a long-term distraction, both during and outside of work hours. I am not really looking to rant. I prefer chatting with someone creative, as maybe that will jumpstart a part of me that I feel I have lost.
About me… I like exercise, long walks, food, TV, movies, and baseball on a nice day. I love basketball and have season tickets to the local pro team (even though that causes me loads of heartache). I am often too sarcastic for my own good.
If you are in a similar situation or possibly share some interests, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.
