In Windows Sound Settings: disable Exclusive Mode; disable Hardware Acceleration (found in the Advanced tab); and disable all Enhancements, for all devices; In Windows Sound Settings, under the Communications tab, select “Do nothing” as Windows’ response when detecting communication activity; I couldn’t find a fix for FxSound not starting minimized to the system tray but I figured out a solution, so I wanted to share. This is on WIndows 11 These are the exact steps I took. Start computer and have FxSound open Go to Run type %appdata% click the folder Fxsound Click the file FxSound.settings and open with Notepad Find the line Change the 0 to 2 Go to File > Save Exit notepad ... I have found the default and downloadable presets to be a bit lacking, and have tweaked until i found settings i like… so i came to look for user made presets to see if there are any that i like better, and see nothing like that here. So lets make a thread with presets that are not the default/downloadable that everyone uses! App isn’t automatically swapping to my Steelseries Arctis 7 headset when I plug it in. If I go into Windows Sound Settings and make a change while the headset is plugged in, it will detect and swap, but it I will have to do it manually each time. Headset will not show in the “Playback Device Select” menu unless I make a change in the Windows sound settings. When first downloaded from the MS store FxS worked and displayed on the screen. But later when clicking to open it, it would only open for a fraction of a second and then disappear. The solution was to run FxSound as an administrator. It works every time that way. 2024.11.26 00:50 Dry-Cat-1386 Has any Malaysians used Transfer Mate Education? Need help
TransferMate sent me an email last week informing me that their refund to my local bank account which is Cimb has been rejected. I went to the branch to clarify the reason but they were not helpful and yesterday TransferMate gave me the UETR code, Unique End to End Transaction Reference to be forwarded to the bank so they can trace the fund and check why it was rejected. I'm not too optimistic that Cimb can clarify the reason.
Are there any Malaysians here who used TransferMate Education? Can you share with me your experience?

I went to use Ente Auth on Windows. Informed that an update (4.10) was available. So I downloaded and installed. Clicked to open and got a screen that says "Enter a setup key". Clicked on that and got 4 fields to enter:

Never got this before and don't know what it wants. Tried my email for Issuer and password for secret. Didn't like that.
What's going on?

2024.11.26 00:50 ThePonderer84 I need to stop trading from my phone (vent/rant)
I just set myself way back because I took a bunch of stupid trades from my phone. At my desktop I have a position sizer tool setup on MT5. I usually have a set distance for my SL, but if the last swing is outside of that parameter, I move my stop outside the swing and adjust my position size accordingly.
Well, my dumbass just took 3 trades with a wide swing, from my phone (which does no adjust my position size). I moved my stop each time but figured it wouldn't be that much more risk. Well, it was more than double. I lost more than double, three times in a row.
So frustrated with myself. Why didn't I just ballpark adjust the size? Maybe just cut it in half to keep it close? I don't know. Greed? Foolishness? Arrogance? Lazy?
The unrelenting teacher named experience just slapped me hard with some new lessons. deep sigh
