I wanted to ask- what app or what do Pastors use when preaching or app they keep handy for their notes, announcements, sermon etc? Any app in particular?
I feel like there isn't an app specifically that will cover a few great features while you're up there preaching. Like: - Bible (different versions)
- Events
- Announcements
- Music/praise list
- Agenda (daily agenda for the church)
- Timer (could be for preaching) etc.
Anyone else know some app that will take all this and more? Thoughts?

My boyfriend and I signed a two year lease on an apartment, and we’ve been having so many issues with disgusting water all over our floors. It literally comes out of the wall. The first time it happened was a few months ago - we didn't expect it to keep happening. Apparently, the apartments above us keep flushing things they aren’t supposed to flush, and we get all the damage from it. The maintenance workers have to keep ripping our wall open and then paint back over it.
Skip to this past Friday, and it happened again. Disgusting sewer water ALL OVER our floors. They said they “fixed it,” but the water has come back like three more times in the past few days. It smells awful, it’s ruined some of our furniture, and the floors just looks terrible now.
We have two cats, and we are afraid of them getting sick. We’ve had to keep them in our bedroom for days so this could be resolved.
Today, the water still keeps coming. It’s making our shower tubs disgusting and incredibly clogged, and we can’t even shower or use our water when they are working on it. It takes ALL DAY, only for the water to return again and again.
On top of this, we've had many other issues that I won't get into on this post. We are so sick of this. It’s disgusting, and such an inconvenience. We want to break our lease, but we aren’t sure if that’s possible. I've tried researching it, but I haven't found any definitive answers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have the opportunity to work at x.ai (Elon Musk’s AI company) and I’m unsure about it. I’m mainly concerned about work-life balance and how unreasonable it could potentially be.
I would like to maintain a relatively normal wlb, but I’m not sure if this is feasible. I will probably try to establish this before I accept an offer, but just curious what other people think.

I recently read a mdzs fic where it was modern day and Wei Wuxian was a rock star and he was going through alcohol problems and other subsistence problems and had other bad issues.
The fic was called “the life and times of a rock star in crisis” by Hammsters.
It was a really good fic, one that dealt with being a public star and the scandals and pressure of trying to be better.
Are there any other fics like that with Wei Wuxian that deals with problems and issues like that and just feels pressured?
It was really well done and a amazing job.
Angst, heavy angst, recovering and a happy ending. I would like those please. Also Jiang Cheng was a good brother to him, I mean he was still himself but kind of like more gentle a bit with him and there was Wangxian which was adorable.

My 80 year old father in law passed away recently. Prior to his death, he had purchased what he believed to be two life insurance policies. One way back when - it’s only worth 12,500 now based on his age. He had what he believed to be a $100,000 policy as well and has had it since 2009, meaning it was sold to him when he was 65. Today, we find out it is an accident only policy.
Now, I know my fiancé should’ve checked all this and he’s responsible as well for this screw up. That’s really not here nor there at this point honestly. He’s already beating himself up enough without it being added to. He thought his mom had a better handle on the situation and she clearly didn’t.
My question is whether the company who sold my father in law this policy 15 years ago had any responsibility to reach out to my father in law to say “hey, this really isn’t the product for you” or to even just have a conversation about it to ensure they know what they have?
I didn’t know my father in law when he was 65 so I haven’t a clue what his mental faculties were like but I know the last few years, they’ve been on the decline. I know he talked with the company earlier this year because we have a letter they sent about his call related to changing the payment account. So it seems like that could have been an opportunity to discuss as just even talking with him briefly, it would’ve been clear something was off cognitively which maybe should’ve raised some red flags.
And maybe they have no responsibility at all - so I’m just curious as to whether there is anything. It just seems illogical to me how an agent would justify selling accident only insurance to someone who is 65 and about to retire, and then to let them keep it until 80 when the likelihood of them being able to use it is so slim.

I have experience using the Sentinel for a few wipes now and It is probly my favorite general purpose combat ship.
But I've been thinking about actually pledging for the Harbinger as I hear it trades the EMP for more missile slots?
