Been single for a year and I’ve been trying to just focusing on friendships and family. It’s actually going alright from that perspective but I’m still just as lonely and much more horny than when I started out now that depression isn’t destroying my libido.
The problem is while I am definitely capable of being aroused, I’m repulsed by the idea of dating. Trying to get to know people who are ready to drop you the moment something better comes along is genuinely a miserable, soul crushing existence.
People can tell me all they want that there are good people out there - that’s fine and good and I’m happy for them. I don’t think those people are wrong. Many good people might even see this post, but in my life, I have never met a good person I’m compatible with romantically. What I learned is that I’m actually just bad at judging peoples values and give people way more credit than they deserve.
I genuinely wish I could just take a pill and turn off my desire for love and romance because it only serves to cause me pain. I’m just broken. My brain wants love but I also can’t stomach any of the sacrifice that it requires because I know how badly betrayal hurts and that’s just my life now.

Hey everybody!! I am 2 weeks out from surgery (December 9th) and I am starting my official pre-op diet tomorrow. I have been lurking for the last several months to try and get as much information as I can about what to expect but that anxious feeling that I am missing something is starting to creep in.
Is there anything you wish someone would have told you regarding the pre-op diet and the post-op recovery?

Just inherent this game and got stuck. Both boards were pretty full, but the next 3 pieces wouldn't fit as they were large and awkward shapes (the rest of the remaining pieces would have), we then got stuck hopping over each other to end the game, but was that correct? Seemed like an anti climax

2024.11.25 23:24 BigBeardedBoys What to do with a PC killed by the bagman

Hi all, looking for some help here with a situation that went a bit crazy. For context I had a PC (he’s a rogue btw) find a mysterious bag of holding with SZ embroidered on it, a newer player of mine found it and when I first talked with him as the bagman he immediately told him to “Follow my voice” 3 times before I could do anything. Later on in the inn the bagman came to take him away into the bag, party fought him a bit but in the end they used 4 inspirations and failed almost 15 strength saves and the PC was dragged into the bag and killed.
So with all that out of the way I’m wondering what might be a good use for his soul? I was thinking having him inhabit his silver sword or posses his PCs brother (another PC) or maybe bring him back as an evil version of himself working as a spy for Strahd. Any ideas or uses for him are all welcome!

Hello everyone,
I recently started to play Avorion and I already have downloaded some cool ships from the workshop. But what I realized is, that finding some ships which styles are similar to the ships ingame is very difficult. For immersion reasons I would prefer to play ships which look kind of like the NPC-ships ingame.
Do you know some workshop ships which are designed in that way and also have good stats?

2024.11.25 23:24 asusrogallyman11 Tried to start a manual car in reverse with clutch out, now it won't start.

I was driving and had to stop somewhere, when I tried to start again I had it in reverse with handbrake on, it stalled when trying to start because the handbrake stopped it moving. Now it won't even crank when trying to start. Toyota corolla 2005 1.4 petrol, I did hear some clicking when I first started the car that morning so maybe starter, but I'm guessing it can't be a coincidence with the reverse thing, I've seen some stuff about maybe being a clutch safety switch but I can't really get much specific information about that for my car. Thanks for any help
