2024.11.26 00:30 FluidPart4918 How to thread stainless tube?
 | F&$/! me running with a chainsaw. How can I thread a stainless steel tube so I can add a nut or threaded pipe to pull on it? In other words, which die and what kind should I use? The tube is 2.3mm OD and a magnet kinda sticks on it but not with much force. Also, I want to pull on it with considerable force to brake it free, but don’t know if I should use gradual tension or try to pop it out using beast mode. Context: Installing new injectors for my BMW (2011 F25 N55 99K miles miles) for preventative maintenance. One injector just won’t budge. I use the correct injector puller and snapped off the head. Then used to nylon rope to pry it off, but just stripped all the encasing plastic. Went straight into beast mode and tried to pry off using a crowbar. I have an engine lift brace, and I plan to use with a threaded rod for my next step. I’m just trying to exhaust all options before I have to pull the cylinder head. I just got off the live chat after days of trying to get through and Sony's policies are hilarious and make 0 sense.
Quick background: I bought a PS5 Slim disc version to replace my OG digital version. Old one is perfectly fine, I just wanted a drive version so I can watch LotR extended trilogy in 4k honestly.
I bought it for $499.99 and before it even shipped black Friday deals came (honestly, I forgot that BF is even still a thing).
$75 is quite a big difference so I figured I'd ask for price adjustment. Took me 3 days to talk with somebody because all Friday the chat would just crash after few hours in line and then the weekend came.
Today after 6 hours of waiting in chat (got kicked 3 times) I finally spoke to somebody.
I was completely honest and just nicely asked if that's even possible to have an adjustment or maybe a voucher or something.
Apparently it is against the policies.
But here's the part that made me laugh when I realized.
You know what's not against the policies? Returning the console I ordered at full price (scheduled to be delivered tomorrow) for free and making Sony pay for the return and purchasing a new one (already did) at a $75 discount.
I would be perfectly happy if they threw like 2-3 months of ps plus at me or whatever but it went in a way that I did not expect at all. That just doesn't make any sense from a business perspective? Or am I wrong here?
So I guess, thanks Sony for free returns?

2024.11.26 00:30 Thexer0 Can a tank survive an explosion but have a passenger die? Over the weekend I was a passenger in a Chamond and some bombs from an enemy Ilya hit us. The tank was fine but I died which I thought was strange. Never experienced anything like that before.
A little more context. I was switching seats at the time. I was not exposed to the outside in any way. I was at one of the door guns then hit X to switch to a different gun as the bombs landed.

I was approved as of earlier in the year and when I look, the first check would be rather large. How long until it hits the bank? (I called SS and while everyone is polite, I was told the deposit would be last week. I checked and the bank info is alll correct.
