Nexus Questline won't start

Update: As from Windows 11 version 22H2, it is possible to change the Welcome screen background. To get this working, the following replies may be helpful:Khalid Mahmood1, 9 February 2023 (Accepted The Start menu in Windows 11 does have some customization options available. If you want to move the Start and Taskbar shortcuts back to the familiar left alignment, you can do so from the Taskbar settings. Right click the Taskbar, click Taskbar settings > Personalization, scroll down Taskbar behaviors. Toggle on the option to Left 1. Start Outlook in safe mode: Start > Run > Type Outlook /safe > in the choose profile dialog, accept the default setting of Outlook and choose OK (if prompted, enter your password). 2. Repair Outlook Data Files. 3. Restart your PC and reopen your Outlook. I just can't get Outlook to open. I've been trying to open my start menu but it wont open,. I also can't open settings, ive tried using task manager to open it by running a new task but it just says it can't find it. I've tried the powershell command but it ends up saying " The deployment operation was blocked because Special profile deployment is not allowed. Kindly click the Start menu icon, then go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar Behavior > click the drop-down menu on the Taskbar Alignment, and choose left. This actually works for me on my desktop computer running Windows 11 Home version 23H2 OS build 22631.2861, the latest update. Click Start > All Apps > scroll down to W and click Windows Media Player. or. Press Windows key + R. Type: wmplayer.exe. Hit Enter. Right click and pin it to your Taskbar. Thats it! Still not finding Windows Media Player? If you are running Windows 10 N or K or KN editions, Windows Media Player is not included. If you are using Windows 11, the Start button is this one: There is also Start key on your keyboard: If all these are not the one you are looking for, please take screenshots about your desktop and your keyboard, so that we can figure out another workaround. Hi JRSanchez, Press the [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del] keys on the keyboard at the same time, or right click the Taskbar, and select Task manager. it is the start menu, with 1903 microsoft gave the start menu its own process, if it is not running the start menu will not work. it does also mean that if you have a problem with the start menu, you can restart this process as a possible fix. StartMenuExperienceHost.exe is a legitimate Windows process that is responsible for managing the Start menu. It is not uncommon for this process to appear in Task Manager, and it is generally safe to leave it running.

2024.11.26 02:48 Minute-Cranberry3998 Nexus Questline won't start

I cannot seem to get the nexus quest line to activate, as in, I have not seen the cutscene of Magnus visiting the farm to initiate the first part of the quest. I have met all of the prerequisites that I can find on the wiki (boulder to summit is gone, Alesia has been met, Junimo woods has been accessed, galaxy sword in possession, volcano summit has been accessed, community center is finished including the movie theater), have met apples, I've tried using the "debug ebi 908070" command in the SMAPI console, but it says that the event wasn't found. I had already upgraded my galaxy sword to the infinity sword and bought another galaxy sword from the adventurer's shop thinking that might have been the issue to no avail. I've also gotten to the two(?) heart event with the wizard and got the elixir for the shrine of illusions. I just downloaded the SVE mod and am using it currently with my save file that's on year 6 currently, which is the only thing that I can think of really that might be causing this to happen. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Also, please go easy on me, this is my first time ever modding any game so if you ask me to look through the SMAPI console or input something into it, please be patient as I'm still very new to all of this.

Sometimes I mute them, but it does give me great satisfaction to hit them with a sarcastic emote when I am losing and come from behind to snatch a win.

I live in a HMO with three housemates, two who are completely fine and one who is an absolute nightmare. I should have seen the writing on the wall when he moved in, immediately lost the keys to his room, and then spent three days living in the communal living-room with all of his belongings. (A debacle that included asking that we keep the front door unlocked throughout the night so that he could let himself in after his nightshifts.) But we each spoke to him and I marked some of the weird stuff he'd been doing down to cultural differences and an obvious language barrier.
Unsurprisingly, things have only gotten worse since then. He spends all day in the communal living room, usually shirtless and napping, and leaves it in such a mess that it's borderline unsusable for anyone else. The mess is actually the main problem. He leaves his rubbish in the kitchen (including piled on top of the bins when they're obviously full) and only cleans his pots when they need to be used again. He floods the bathroom everytime he showers and just leaves the literal puddles of water for whoever next goes in. His bedroom isn't my problem since we each rent our own rooms, but it smells quite badly and he always leaves his bedroom door open so that smell wafts through the house. We've spoken to him about cleaning up after himself and emailed the landlords, but he just cleans up once and then goes back to normal. I feel like someone's mum, having to remind a grown man to respect the people around him, but the only other option is to just live in a dump.
He's also got some weird habits that just, mixed with everything else, make me really uncomfortable. The worst one is the random screaming. He talks (I think to himself, but I'm not sure) a lot, which during the day is what it is, but sometimes he'll just starting screaming really loudly. Like properly at the top of his lungs. And he'll do it in the early hours of the morning as well. I'm not sure what he's saying because I don't speak the language, but the sound of anyone screaming at the top of their lungs is really offputting. He also used to ask me for a lot of favours. Just stupid stuff like how to use the cooker and help with online interviews. But then it got to the point where he just expected me to do it. Recently, he started knocking on my bedroom door asking for help. I said no twice and he wouldn't take it for an answer. (Instead, for some reason, asking if my boyfriend was round???) After telling him no for a third time, he just demanded I come and help him anyway. I lost my cool a little bit and he doesn't really come near me anymore. But I'm a bit off put by the expectation. I didn't know him before he moved in and have not given him any indication that this is OK behaviour. He doesn't really act this way with our male housemates.
I'm not sure what I'm hoping to achieve with this. I think I just need to rant to someone who hasn't heard it a thousand times already. It's so silly, but the situation is really starting to get to me. I'm sick of feeling like I don't have the same right to the space that I pay for as he does. It was a little better when he worked, but now I can't leave my room without seeing him. It's making me dread doing something as simple as cooking. Does anyone have any tips for making this sort of thing bearable until my tenancy ends?

My man has anxiety. Full respect for him, I get it. Being an interracial couple seems to get us stared down more than average. I'm fine with ignoring it, but it's hard for my BF and his anxiety. Yes I end up feeling deflated when this gets in the way of him hugging me or showing affection. I've talked to him about it and really don't know what to do.
