My 2 teens and I are without a home right now. My son and I are stuffed into my ex fiances living room w my doggo in the middle of the house w 4 other adults living in their respected rooms. Walking around all hrs of the night, smoking, not helping me keep food and toilet paper in the home. Making me uncomfortable too leave my son, while I work overnights at a gas station near Wilmington NC. We are separated from my baby girl, she's 16 and has been staying w one of her girlfriends. I want my family back together. I was doing inspection for a construction company and I was laid off at $44k a year. Lost our townhouse while at the same time simultaneously my ex (yup- the one who's living room my son and I are in-) left me. I can't get ahead. No way I can pay the $2200 for 1st month last month etc for the place I desperately need for my kids. They are BOTH honors students and wonderful kids they deserve a home. I'm doing my absolute best :( ❤️

Howdy folks, I'm in the planning stages to make a suit of 'plate' out of 16oz saddle leather, dyed, tooled and formed to resemble a centipedes body segments.
This is a bad idea and I'd love to hear why.
Specifically I intend to cut and tool the leather to give it an organic feel, matching some high res closeups of centipede chitin I've collected. I'll be experimenting with tooling leather to figure out how to get the various ridges and stippling just so for my project.
After that I intend to use fiebings pro dyes to mimic a somewhat colourful centipedes scheme, specifically a reddish black brown with blue highlights along the top lip of each overlapping plate. Again much experimentation before I attempt this on the armour segments.
After *that* I'll give it a bath in hot beeswax or paint the molten wax on to harden it. This is going to take a while as I'm looking at at least 9ft^2 of coverage for my already armoured torso. I am looking to make an extremely thick and sturdy set of armour. Arm and leg armour will be thinner but I have to collect more material in game before I consider it and this was something of a windfall.
Immediately following that will see me forming the plates to wood carved or 3d printed forms for each individual plate. I have mild design experience but plan on bribing friends who have more with bottles of mead for their support.
Please poke holes in my plan, and I will definitely not be taking notes to learn from folks with significantly more experience in this field than I.
In particular, any reactions between dyes, antiquing stains or other colour alterations and coating the armour in beeswax? I would prefer to steep it if I can, to fully saturate the material or possibly do so in a pressure cooker to forcefully fill gaps between leather grain with wax before spreading it over a mold and "gently" encouraging it to take the desired shape.

We were standing around waiting for final formation when my first line approached me and told me to stand fast before being released and to be prepared to have a meeting with first sergeant. When I asked what was up he told just told me to stand fast.
We ended up going to first sergeants office after that, where I met him and my PL and PSG. They closed the door behind me and began verbally attacking me and gave me a counseling for “poor hygienic behavior.” They said this was their way of telling me I still smell like cheeks.
They told me the next time i’ll be getting a company grade article 15 if I don’t fix this. After the first counseling I went to the px and the nice lady in the cologne section sold me a couple of bottles of dior savauge, and she told me it would cover any smells people think I have and I should be fine.
I’ve been spraying myself about 10 times or so both before pt and any time before heading into the office. I usually stick to myself and don’t bother anybody and just do my job so I’m not sure who is making these fake complaints about me.
My question is, is there anything I can do? I’m not trying to get an article for something I have no control over. i’ve tried everything and nothing is working. Is my cuzz (commander huzz) justified in this? Or should I go to juzz (jag huzz) and make a complaint?
Unrelated note, am I suppose suppose to know how to cheat at correspondence courses? someone said I was suppose to idk.

Okay, I am a newer women’s soccer fan. I have watched women’s soccer in the last Olympics and in 2020 but I became a fan of Rose Lavelle’s style of play (the footwork blows my mind) almost immediately.
I followed OL Reign last year but started going to Gotham games this year and had a blast. I have been thinking of buying season tickets for next year, but I wasn’t sure if I should because I was under the impression that Rose Lavelle was signed to a one-year contract? The people I’ve attended games with have said that she may not be back next year so I’m so confused because I also see info online that she is signed through 2026.

(I already did but it was a short talk about the subject).
