2024.11.26 01:30 Sad-Independence5008 Advice for someone with Bipolar
I’m not sure if this is allowed so please let me know and I will delete :) also this is my first time using Reddit so I apologize if I get phrasing or anything else wrong.
I am a Female and in my 20’s. I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar II and I am on medication. I am currently in Therapy and regularly seeing my Psychologist. A bit of backstory I’m fairly certain my dad is an undiagnosed Bipolar. I grew up watching how he is with my mother and how he treated us. I hated him, I am so scared of becoming him in the ways he treats his wife and his children. I purposely avoid relationships so I don’t ever put someone through that.
So my question or advice needed is what steps do you wish your Significant Other would have taken before meeting you, during and after? What do you wish they could change or be proactive about or just wish they could understand? I want to be a good person and I feel like the significant others are almost more affected than the person with Bipolar. You all are so strong ❤️ I apologize if this feels like I am invading your space and I will delete if this makes anyone uncomfortable.

2024.11.26 01:30 BigBass2079 PS4 controller connecting to pc as windows device?
My controller worked fine wirelessly for a while but I accidentally tried pairing it by pressing the ps and option buttons instead of the share button. It somehow connected to my pc as a windows device, and even if I reset it and connect the blue tooth correctly it still tries to connect as a windows device. Now it doesn’t work at all, but in the steam options it can see all the inputs correctly. Did anyone have this problem before? Thanks!

Hello I have a bit of an odd one and googling is not yielding any way around this. I'll make it short; my parents were/are convinced that the biblical end of the world would happen in their children's lifetime, so to avoid having their kids on any government systems, they didn't register the births of their youngest three kids. My aunt and uncle also did this to my cousin, with the caveat that they had her at the hospital rather than at home, so she has a birth certificate from the year she was born.
Since then my mother has acquired birth certificates for the 3 children, but the oldest of the 3 was 10yo when she acquired the birth certificates, so the usual way of getting a passport without an SSN won't work because their birth certificates were not issued the year they were born. All of them were homeschooled so we have no school IDs. They were homebirthed in Puerto Rico.
As you can imagine, having no SSN in the US has stunted my siblings and cousin. I just need to know where to go from here, what to look at, if there's anything I can do at all or if anyone has dealt with this before.

Hey yall. Honestly I hate my job and want to quit and work DoorDash. And focus on my business. Im 22 and tired of slaving away and waiting for the day to be over. I know it’s usually not a good idea, but I still live with my parents and my only expense is my car payment and insurance. All together that’s about $600 a month. Do yall think it’s possible to make that with DoorDash? In addition to the gas and maintenance for my car.

I’m dealing with fine lines on face and neck. Occasional breakouts but my acne is much better controlled with Spironolactone now. I also have more textured skin and some hyperpigmentation and red spots on my face.
Looking for advice on what to do to improve this. I’m seeing Black Friday deals for laseMD at a medspa near me and curious if it’s helpful enough to purchase. Should I stray away from lasers for any reason? Or is there a better laser to try? I’ve also been looking at purchasing an at home laser during sales like Nira or Tria.
I use a variety of skincare including dr Dennis gross peel pads occasionally, tretinoin(not super often as I’ve never seen major results), Caudalie venoperfect serum, tatcha moisturizer. I also have done about 3 at home microneedling treatments. I also have omnilux red light mask.
