Guys, im so damn excited. The pros on here already know all this, but for new people its pretty cool.
If you have Renoise on a laptop/PC or even better on a small tablet, and you maybe have the TE OPZ, Renoise picks up the OPZ as external keys and sequencer as soon as you plug it in!!!
You can pick up an OPZ for real cheap online, ebay maybe too. It has a rechargeable battery and is about the size of a TV remote. Very handy and easy to use as a keyboard.

Many people can easily realize that arguing online with one person about politics is a waste of time. However, activism and spreading ideas to change or improve the political system can often end up in a similar situation where the energy and emotional labor involved does not get your ideas and influence as far as possible.
The reason that many political discussions are as pointless and frustrating as they are is because many people living in the United States do not have actual ideologies they articulate and follow consistently. They want the candidate they view as better to win elections so they are constantly shifting and reforming their wishes and desires to match whatever the ruling class approves as a candidate for the elections they control. The politics that people believe within electoral societies based on liberal ideas are based on an idea that everyone has a valid opinion and through voting, the largest number of people get the decision they want. There is no objective truth in this ideology, it accepts what the largest number of people decide as the truth. Technocracy is an ideology based on scientific facts and data, so we are basing our decisions on the most objective facts we possibly can in our current time period and within our modern understanding of the world. This naturally also makes us incompatible with modern people who make emotion-based decisions unless those decisions are supported by the data. After a certain point the discussions are just completely unproductive.
Writing theory is more productive than speaking with other individuals who are just seeking out things to argue about, but even better is bringing attention to the theory and the ideas of technocracy. Writing theory is the most logical and effective way to participate in technocracy, because t. The theory is either well-received because it is intelligent and accepted by the community to advance and shape the ideology further, or it is ignored for not being a good application of the theories or the ideology. Accepted theory contributes to the overall ideology and gives outsiders more information about technocracy and the general thought process behind it which encourages compatible people to participate.

I used to feel bad for saying this, but it’s true. I grew up with a full house. Mom, Dad, siblings, and a family dog. We used to do all of the things most close families did like family dinners, trips, etc. and then one dad it all stopped. To my knowledge nothing really triggered it, everyone just kind of stop putting the effort in to make these things happen. Me being the family oriented person I am, I tried my best to keep certain traditions alive. It even got to the point where they wouldn’t even put up the Christmas tree anymore and on Christmas Day everyone would be sleep till noon and in their own lanes yet under the same roof. This is continued for the past decade. I am now an adult who is married with a couple dogs of my own. I live in a different city from the rest of my family and I’ve always invited them over for gatherings that I host, yet I am constantly met with excuses at the last minute as to why they can’t make it. Recently my father passed away, who in fact was the only one who made effort to come to my gatherings or in the slightest show up for me in general. It seemed as if my mother and siblings were attempting to make a change by spending more time with one another yet, they have all reverted back to their individual ways of canceling on me to do nothing instead. I am really hurt by this because we have no family drama with one another outside of me calling them out on always canceling on me, yet only asking me for help or money when it’s convenient for them. All I ask is that we spend time together as a family and they don’t even do that. I’m at the point where I wanna cut them off because the constant rejection is really depressing, especially around these holidays.

Existing piercing suddenly infected PLEASE HELP me
For reference I’ve had this for several years. My piercing is swollen, feels warm, and overall painful. So it’s infected…I’ve had this piercing for years and the hoop has never bothered me. The problem is that the hoop is not one that has the same gauge all the way around. So the swelling can possibly go over the earring and make it worse. Should I try to change it out to a regular stud? Or just keep cleaning with saline and hope it goes away. Any insight would be incredibly appreciated. I’m really getting nervous about this as it’s been 3 days.
