we broke up tuesday, and im just so lost. it was almost 2 years down the drain, we lived together, i gave him everything. i helped him get his job+my dad when he decided he wanted to leave college, i got us the apartment, my family gave him love when he didnt have his parents nearby. we had our own issues, were never abusive to each other. i communicated everything to him, he would always reassure me and tell me things were fine. when we broke up, he said he was thinking about it for 3 months, but NEVER said anything. he kissed me that morning and told me he loved me before he left, then everything flipped. he was already packed and ready to leave when i got home, he wouldnt give me straight answers. just saying he “lost hope” and “we dont have a future anymore” but again, he said and reassured everything was fine multiple times. all of my support has said i did everything i can, my therapist said i did everything i couldve, even his mom feels bad for me bc he left me the same way his dad left his mom she said. so why cant i just get over this, why am i letting this hurt me so bad when he clearly doesnt gaf anymore/might be masking his emotions. i wish i would stop waking up w anxiety, itll be a week tmr. i feel so dumb.

For context, I’ve been on cpap for 3.5 years. 99% compliance. Low AHI during sleep study (9) and I’m under 5 for AHIs during cpap use (1 to 2 on average). I’m on the slim side. I drink 80mg of caffeine on average. Etc. So I gave cpap a good try on its own and while it helps for sure, it doesn’t help all the way. So doc, who is very very good, thought next line should be to try 100mg of modafinil as needed. Thoughts, advice, experiences?

Overall I’m really liking this gun (even if it is my first) I’ve put up about 400 rounds so far and it’s jammed about 5 times plus a pretty rough failure twice (I had to get a range tech to help me with it. The gun jammed and seized the mag inside twice they had to pull the mag out both times forcefully in order to un jam it). I like the gun, trigger and even recoil but I bought it for home defense and how reliable it is according to all the videos and reviews I’ve read over the course of my research period.

My(17F) cousin (15M) told me and my best friend (17F) he was on a certain drug starting with H.
For context my bestie lets call her Helen and I have been friend for about 4 years and live in the same town. My cousin let's call him Ben lives in a different country during the school year (we all live in Europe) but he spends his summers in our home town. Now me and Helen both have quite interesting lives that we love to tell Ben about. Now Ben and Helen are closer then me and him so he confided in her by telling her he used to do the H drug. Helen was shocked I mean drugs were pretty common in the country he goest to school in but H is crazy. Now she told me the whole story about him sneaking out of the house, going to a bordering country with homeless people and all that. My honest reaction was to laugh I mean it sounds fake af. After some thought we realised it must be fake, why is that?
- his parents are really strict me and Helen live in a small town where everyone know everyone and they don't let he stay out past 1A.M., so them letting him go to a different country.... I call BS.
3.THE TIMING: first of all he spends his new years in our home town, now he told Helen that he was using from October to April and one day decided to just stop... I call BS. First of all H is a very addicting drug that can ruin lives and to just decide one day to stop it is almost impossible. Second during Christmas break while he was with us we didn't see any needle marks (for those who don't know the H drugs needs to be injected).
When Helen and I confronted him he was furious and said he would provide proof, It has been 2 years since then and we got NO PROOF. And ever science that more and more lies started coming out....
So, AITAH for not believing my cousin did hard drugs?

Me and my boyfriend broke up after nearly 2 years together. We broke up yesterday because I changed my mind and didn’t want to move to a more rural place in Australia where his family is. I’m 25 nearly 26 and have a great career in Sydney and have the potential to keep doing great things here. I moved from Wellington 2 years ago and wouldn’t move back to nz even though my whole family is there. I have great friends in Sydney and just love the place. I’d be moving to a town in qld with less than 200,000 people. I love him so much, we both love each other but I can’t move even if he’s said it’s for 3 years that’s too long for me. We’re both really upset and I know I’ve made the right decision but my heart makes me second guess myself. It’s so hard to get over someone you still love and had such a nice relationship with. It makes it easier he’s leaving Sydney and to another state but it hurts so bad right now.
