My life went belly up recently, but a desire to change was in me. Tonight I walked in to my first A.A. meeting, and I got to say I found my community. I have a deadly triangle of addiction, gaming, pornography, and alcohol. If one wasn't satisfying my needs I turned to the other and abused it. I would go out and buy an expensive bottle of whiskey and drink it till I couldn't feel depressed, well it took a lot of drinks. I'm Royce, 27 years old and I'm addicted and abuse alcohol. 2024.11.26 02:21 RadicalLizards My life won't stop being hell and I have no idea how or if I even can move forward.
My childhood was bad to say the least, my mother dated shitty guys because she has low standards and wanted attention. I was beat as a baby, we left and lived with my grandparents for awhile, then she found another abusive man. I was abused in multiple ways by him until their swinging was discovered by me because she kept bringing the guy around me and being all over him around me. Their marriage fell apart so we moved out when I was 15. We stayed in an apartment for a bit over a year until she made us move out within a couple days out of the blue after she was supposedly 🍇ed by the guy who ruined her marriage. Well turns out she lied about the 🍇 for attention and literally told me that and how we're gonna move in with him within the week because now they're deeply in love. After I spent months decluttering, cleaning, and scrubbing that nasty hoarded house and making it comfortable for me. That house was remote and my car has been broken so I had no income then and any money I did have went toward the apartment and house because she was never home and I took care of things she didn't. I cleaned, I took care of the dogs, I paid the bills she didn't. So then I moved away from her because I couldn't stand it anymore. I fell in love, fixed my car, had a place with a roommate.. but the roommate I hadn't met before moving in and he became creepy and awful when I began dating my boyfriend. And his cat gave me ringworm. So I left and moved back in with my mother. And my car is broken again, so I've been walking to work but they cut my hours really bad to the point I only work one 6 hour shift a week. I have no savings because I've been trying to use my first couple months checks to get car parts and pay rent and my mom asks me to get shit for her all the damn time because they spend their money on her Amazon addiction and his Pepsi and beer addiction and my boyfriend was homeless for 4 months during it all so I was helping him financially. I have no money, no car, that stupid ringworm from February came back again, if that's even what it is idk anymore, and it's spreading all over my body and no medicine and cream that I can barely afford is helping and I've had a bad ingrown toenail that is causing struggle to walk now and I feel so exhausted and angry and I don't want to be here. The littlest of things piss me off and make me breakdown and I can't handle anything anymore, my life has been nonstop garbage that I had to clean up for everyone else and I don't have anything to show for it. My family doesn't talk to me anymore either and it pains me. I miss being young and unaware. I feel so isolated. There's traintracks right behind the house and 90% of my day is spent thinking of laying in them. I see no purpose anymore.
