Im a new watcher of this show. I just finished ep 9 of season 4… hearing Jack walk up into sawyers face judging him for reading a book after he saved all their butts… n when sawyer called him out for being reactionary he says his fave self righteous line: “i GoT Us ofF tHiS iSLaNd” his ego is so obnoxious!!!! Is insufferable. I used to love Jack in season 1-2. Smh 🤦🏽♀️ he’s annoying now! A self righteous hypocrite for sure

 | I recently came across an old VHS tape titled Vietnam: Echoes of Sacrifice. Found it at an antique store, mixed in with other Vietnam era items. Per the box, it seems to be a documentary about the South Vietnamese Military Academy in Da Lat and it follows the cadets’ training. Supposedly all copies were destroyed, with this one being smuggled out of Vietnam in 1990. I’m curious if anyone here has seen this tape, knows its history, or has any information about the documentary. I lack much knowledge on the subject. I have not viewed it, so I’m unsure of its authenticity, but it seems like it could be an interesting piece of history, and I’d love to learn more about it. Hey folks, I want to start by saying thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and respond to this.
I want to get into FM, but as the youngins say, I'm a noob in that realm. I currently work as a resident director on a college campus and will start my collateral soon by working with the college housing department which is intertwined with facilities management. 24 yrs old, graduated with a BBA in Sport Management and Minor in Athletic Coaching and my interest in FM has grown since I've been in the realm of residential life.
How should I approach getting into FM? Should I get an advanced degree (thinking about it, but I dislike school lol)? What youtube channels should I subscribe to and start learning from? What certifications should I look at? What basics should I start looking at?
Any advice helps greatly as I want to do the best I can.

A friend of mine who works at BMS told me that BMS is working on a Dynamic QR solution to curb the black market sales of famous concert shows.
Though this doesn't stop people from selling the tickets but it restricts access to those who have access to the phone number which was used in purchase.
If you have bought or are planning to buy the tickets from black market then make sure you can login on the app using this number .
Plus this might not be the only feature they might implement to stop black ticket holders from entering the concert area

The exterior has some cosmetic flaws, but the image quality and optics are perfect.
There are smudges around the lens body, and small dust particles on the inside of the lens element (I think it happens to a lot of zoom lenses).
Rear element is immaculate, front element has some dust. Zoom and aperture rings turn smoothly and everything is fully operational.
I'm selling this because I'm looking for something more appropriately sized for my ZV-E1 like the Tamron 20-40mm or 17-28mm, but I'm interested in trades for other full frame Sony E-mount lenses, message me if you have something to offer! I will consider adding cash if appropriate.

42 Female 5’4 160lbs Medication: Lexapro 10mg No other medical issues.
I had Covid pretty bad in the beginning of this year… Durning the Covid I ended up getting Bell’s palsy. Went to ER was treated with antivirals and steroids. After about 6 weeks I was basically back to normal. Had some issues with the affected side… Blinking was not normal, dry eye and some eahead pain. But after another month I was back to normal.
Fast forward…
Last month I had woke up with a sore on the left side of my head. Went to urgent care a few days later as I had swollen lymph nodes in front of my left ear and on my cheek. Was told I had cat scratch fever. After a day of taking the pretnisone and the antibiotic I ended up going to ER. I had more sores on my forehead and all on top of my head. It was sheer pain. Itching and burning!!! So I was told I now had shingles. I take the antivirals once again… After 3 weeks I’m finally sore free and my face and head are not burning or super sensitive.
My question is am I susceptible to getting Bell’s palsy and/or shingles again? I’m terrified! From what I understand they’re both in the same virus strand. I still feel completely fatigued and tired all of the time. No energy or motivation. Can I get some advice or how to get my normal life back? How to take measures of prevention? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My partner keeps vaping dry cannabis in the house when I've expressed concern about it hurting baby's health, abiet never in the same room as baby and usually out the window but I can still smell it so it's obviously.lingering. He also often handles baby after while smelling which I've been concerned about. He's been dismissive of any negative effects, saying dry herb isn't the same as oil and while I disagree I've had a hard time finding research on this specifically, it's all usually about oil cartridge and tobacco vaping. Does anyone have any helpful research? Thank you.

2024.11.26 05:30 megaaman2 How do people feel a sense of pride/accomplishment? Am I missing something?
Somehow, I seem to have forgotten what a sense of achievement feels like. Or maybe I never understood it properly to begin with.
Nothing makes me feel proud, or like I've accomplished something.
Doesn't matter if it's a big task or a small task. Doesn't matter if it's easy or hard. If it's for myself or for others. If it's an important college project or if it's just a daily chore.
I can logically acknowledge when I've done good work, or analyze what my capabilities are. But somehow, I can't form the emotional connection from "I've done good" to "I should be proud of myself".
I've tried explaining it to people, but no one seems to get it. From what I understand, for most people, if they've spent a sufficient amount of time or emotional energy (even negative emotional energy) on a task, it automatically leads them to feeling proud when the task is finished.
Which, idk, sounds foreign to me? Like I seriously don't understand how the connection between work done and feeling of pride works.
The best way to describe it is that nothing I do feels like my own self is doing it. It feels like I'm an audience member of a theater play, and on the stage there's an actor with my own face and voice, doing all the things people say I should be proud of. Like yeah, as an observer I can understand why he should be proud of what he's doing, but I can't form the 'personal' connection(?) that would lead me to actually feel that sense of pride.
