my ex bf (21m and 20m) of 2 years broke up with me last sunday, we officially stopped talking the next day after he returned my things. it wasn't a rude or otherwise "bad" breakup by any means. I'd let my social anxiety get the best of me over the last year and became so socially isolated that he was basically my only irl friend. for the most part, it wasn't a huge problem, because we're both very introverted by nature (I'm autistic, and we've wondered if he might be as well) and he's never been the type to have many irl friends, if any. but he'd just reached a breaking point because he'd gotten busier with work and school and he'd just been spending way too much of his own free time with me. although it came as a complete shock to me because it was so random (literally happened at the end of a nice day together, right before we were going to make dinner at his place. it wasn't something he was planning), ultimately I think he made a good choice. it had gotten very stressful for both of us and neither of us were doing very well mental health-wise. we both said we still really loved each other and that we wanted to reconnect some day. I even said that maybe one day we could try our relationship again and make it work out. he said he had the same hopes as me (unclear if he meant this about rekindling). we left off saying that the other could contact us at any time for anything.
here's my issue: bc things were left on a fairly vague note on his end, I'm unsure if he's open to the idea of rekindling after some time apart, and I want to discuss what each of us want the end goal of this situation to be. the specifics of our relationship and the breakup make rekindling a very possible outcome that could definitely work out if we both wanted it to, so I think we need to address the possibility at some point and see what each of us want.
on friday I texted him (after struggling to decide whether I should) because I'd just paid him back for something on venmo and I wanted to make sure he got it. I also let him know that I wanted to talk to him at some point about this whole situation and what we each want out of it, and he said we could do that, just not for now. perfectly fine with me, I didn't want to talk yet either. but then today I reached out again bc he'd posted a very vague and cryptic message on multiple platforms that reminded me of a time when he was suicidal and he'd done something similar. he said he was alright though and explained it was something completely different. I apologized for the confusion and said I just wanted to make sure he was okay. we decided we'd catch up later whenever we decided to talk about this whole situation in general. I told him I felt like I was pretty ready and knew what I wanted to say and what I wanted to come out of this, but for him to take his time and reach out whenever he felt ready.
I just feel really dumb for reaching out twice after not even a week 😓 I really do want to respect his privacy and give him space (and give myself space too. seriously, I know I need it). I wouldn't have reached out unless I needed to or I thought he was unsafe, and that's what I did both times. but I still just feel awful for potentially disturbing him and his own healing process. and I just really hope he doesn't think I'm acting desperate. but anyway, for the meantime I'm going to try to be better at just ignoring his online presence altogether and committing harder to focusing on myself.

You can't even tell the other team how much they fucking suck any more without getting a 2 week ban. It genuinely pisses me off how soft and woke call of duty has become these past couple years. As posted earlier today by u/phr99, there has been significant UAP / "drone" activity over USAF Air Force Bases in the UK recently, including the past 24 hours. A YouTube Channel called Liberty Wing UK live streamed for 3 hours during today's incident. While it was dark and hard to see, there are couple interesting visuals and a lot of interesting commentary.
I made a quick edit with 2 things...

  1. Some of the most interesting visuals sped up and enhanced a bit. You can see some interesting patterns in the flight paths of these things when sped up.
  2. I compiled 4ish minutes of his commentary that paints an interesting picture of what he witnessed. Most of the visuals during this time aren't very interesting, but the commentary strung together is very interesting.
