I applied for the FBR in April and today received an email requesting “a notarised copy of my mothers id if living OR an original death certificate if deceased”.
I’m applying via my Irish born grandmother and unfortunately have not been in contact with my mother for over 20 years, I believe she is still alive.
On the checklist, applying via my Irish born grandmother, there is nothing to say I have to provide a notarized copy of my mother’s ID (or am I wrong)?
Can anyone advise on what I should do please?

Problem/goal: Resigning new job due to burnout and I need advice on what to say.
Context: I’ve been at my job for 5 months and I’m already burnt out.
It’s the workload, but it’s also because the environment is toxic. It’s full of: 1. Politics 2. Blame culture 3. No support to get things done, but you’re still held accountable.
Unfortunately, the workload and expectations are not negotiable.
I’m starting to feel unlike myself, and it’s taking a toll on me. I’m someone who enjoys having a lot of ownership, but because of the environment… 1. I don’t speak up anymore because I know I’ll just get reprimanded. 2. I do not care about my tasks or projects at all. I just continue to do my tasks because I don’t want to be scolded for being the blocker. 3. But when I force myself to do the tasks, I feel mad and I just want to cry.
I don’t get full sleep because I wake up with anxiety over the things that could go wrong in a day. Even my therapist said it sounds like staying won’t do me any good.
Advice needed: 1. Should I resign after the holidays since it’s already end of Nov? 2. What do I say? Should I say that the environment is not a fit for me? Should I be honest and say I’m burnt out?
Previous Attempts: Been trying different methods to improve my situation, to no avail.
Communicating and seeking understanding from my bosses are not an option, so I’m really going to resign. Just need help with the above! Thank you.
